Just came from a "Colors of Mary Blair" exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo today. Great stuff. Totally geeked out all day. Lots of great original art there. (There were a a couple of pieces from Marc Davis thrown in too)

I cught a glimpse of Mary Blair's mural at the Contemporary Resort. Of course, I

was in the monorail as it was going through, so I didn't have time to get a

real good look.

There's Legend Harriet Burns in the background painting a model. She was the very first WED True Lady Artist in the department.

Mary Blair was an amazing artist. It's so sad that her murals in Tomorrowland were covered up and damaged by some airbrushed crap for startours. Even more sad she killed herself.
