O' malley. WHERE THE FUCK ARE ALL OF THE JOBS. Your failure to increase the amount of jobs in Maryland is mind boggling. Fuck democrats, who love killing small buisnesses in Maryland. They like taking your hard earned money just to give it all to the government jobs in Maryland. The donkeys don't care about you, they care about themselves! I hate liberals!
My point is they aren't "new Americans" until they apply for entry and assimilate or at the very least learn English. Their refusal to assimilate or practice birth control is too much of a burden on MD at this point. I'm in favor of welfare and similar programs for real Americans, but its unaffordable if we are paying for all of Mexico too. I'm just saying the pop growth and birthrate of illegals is out of control and Omalley wants to worsen it.
I am a democrat but I am going to vote for Ehrlich I'm thinking, my first time voting Republican. Governor Carcetti from the Wire is a scheister and Grumpy Ehrlich is kind of a simpleton. Neither one is going to do much. At least when Ehrlich was governor the the taxes on the poor and middle class were a lot lower oddly. That coupled with this "new Americans" garbage is making me vote Ehrlich even though I don't want to. The Dems make me sad
@meccabruto first of all ehrlich was impeached for a reason because he obliviously could not give what the citiznes wanted if omalley had done things 10 times worse like some people say on other comments he would have been impeached faster plus the only benefit from freezing tuition the last year is so people like ehrlich cannot continue increasing them
First of all if we pay tax because we live here we should have some money spent on us plus we make up a significant part of maryland and do jobs most americans wouldnt want to do like construction so if you enforce these immigration laws by deporting more people then you would lose tax money and other fees you receive from us causing an economic downturn
@sclubdevin I'm sorry, not from my angle, it hasn't. Thats pretty much the reason why I moved out of the city 8 years ago. I have been living in that city for 16 years before and when our neighborhood has gotten worse me and my family reached up to a point where we said "Enough is enough." So we were able to move out of the city and since then, I never looked back. Bit it's gotten more worse after that & O'Malley pretty much messed the state up. I hope he does get voted out for someone better.
My question to your governoromalley. Why on earth does a Lt Governor who is the running mate of the Governor have to debate. No one cares about any Lt Governor.
@changeup26, The city has DEFINITELY gotten better. I don't know if you just visit the city, but I live here in the heart of it, and I can tell you it really isn't that bad. It's just that some people get scared when they see poor people. Just because some dude looks dirty or is wearing baggy pants doesn't mean he's going to mug you. Grow a pair.
1. Fact: the constant comments across the screen are annoying.
2. O'Malley is a great politician and orator.
3. How can any sensible person living in this state really believe crime in Baltimore City has been reduced??? Do these same clowns ever visit the city? Baltimore is dangerous and riddled with gangs. Don't give me numbers...visit the City and make sure you recite the numbers as you're getting jumped.
This election is simple, do the people who are getting the free handouts from the state believe that is the best they will ever have? If thats the case then O'Malley will get elected again. I think the Maryland electoral base is relatively "retarded" on the issue. Meaning they dont care, they dont know the issues, and the only people who do are the educated one who want to get better and faster, and make their lives better through work and money. O"malley has raised the taxes every year.
just annoys me that the pro-illegal governor o'malley keeps calling illegal and legal immigrants "new americans". He still hasn't learned what an american is, and what an immigrant is. He supports illegals, helps them stay in the country, and calls them american citizens. Hes bad.
I was very interested in the fact check until I saw the authors name is "governoromalley. Obviously we have a bias and we need a fact check on the fact check
If both candidates directly answered the questions and didn't simply rehash the same slinging that's been going on the campaign commercials, this debate would have been 15 minutes instead of an hour. When someone asks what you're going to do, you don't answer them by rattling off statistics on what's been done in the past 4, 6, or 10 years.
I'm not a Demlican or a Republocrat, and I've voted mixed tickets for years, depending on the person / office. When I saw this debate video was "fact checked" I was hopeful for good comments. Then I noticed the "fact check" was basically anti-Ehrlich and pro-O'Malley, I wondered what was up, and then noticed the video was posted by "governoromalley." also it is an hour CBS video (no copyright violation?) Therein lies the answer: a liberal Dem hack from CBS Bal'more.
@Dragz0 i totally agree. erlich speaks with an attitude and interupted omalley numerous times yet when omalley would try to defend himself erlich would go "eh, eh, eh, my turn". he thinks he's so funny, we'll see who's laughing on election day when erlich gets crushed. he failed miserably his first time in office, and im sorry, but in a heavily democratic state that is enough to bury his chances. he's such a smug prick.
@pizzylee1978 I wouldn't say Ehrlich failed miserably in his first term. It was actually quite a success. Nitwits like you who are partisan fools and can't comprehend that the truth usually is somewhere in the middle are the real smug pricks.
Do not pay attention to most of the "fact checks" in this video. They are skewed and false. "Look at the body language" comments pointing at Governor Ehrlich are wrong. What a attack. This is a shameful attempt to skew the debate publicly. Instead of watching this one, attempt to find a copy of the debate that is not skewed on either side to make a better choice.
@coop1974a What specifics about his record prove he did any harm? I bet you cannot come up with one thing that Ehrlich did that O'Malley has done ten times worse. That sounds wonderful but it says nothing.
@ripkenfan86 Also take note that due to my comments, Governor O'Malley's staff has blocked me from commenting on their videos. If I were wrong, don't you think they would take me to task instead of blocking me? Instead of encouraging debate on their videos, they block me. What a wonderful example of bipartisanship and free speech.

Ehrlich is good at pointing at problems, and delivering rhetoric.
O'Malley is good at offering solutions and empowering his constituents.
It's an endorsement from Palin to Ehrlich against an Obama and Clinton endorsement.
Ehrlich regurgitates the stuff he heard from Glenn Beck's Rallies and various conservative outlets. Where's the genuine ideas, broseph?
O'Malley talks about Maryland's actual politics.
Look at their body language. Ehrlich is angry.
O'Malley is confident.
