This is different from what I am used to hearing...Im a Morgan State Alumnus an Dr. Carter always had us sing Hogan's arrangement...Morgan was known for throwing down some good music and still is. Butis very unique and frankly, I like it! You can tell the composer had a classical/chorale background bythe wayhe composed it! It was very good! Trust me if I say its good..it is good. I am very critical with sound, technique and originality. Thumbs up Howard!

Both arrangements of the spiritual are badd. This one is more gospel choir oriented, while Hogan's is more choral choir oriented. I love them equally. And Howard is GREAT also.

This choir sounds good...but let's not go too far. They do NOT put Moses Hogan to shame. Moses Hogan's arrangement of this song along with his chorale are on a WHOLE other level. This choir is good...Moses Hogan's Chorale is GREAT!

This is the best arrangement of this song I ever heard, dang they even showed moses hogan's arrangment out, & I didnt think it could get better than moses hogan's arrangment.I MUST know who arranged this version!
