@rsv1000tomzek If you drove the some circut thousands of times, would you suddenly 'forget' a turn? There drivers haven't even memorized the turns, it's all in their backbone by now, they automatically know where the next turn will go. Especially with a narrow circuit like Monaco, the metal fence automatically take you in the right direction, you can't accidentaly take the inside of a turn. Schumi for 8th place in 2010!

Schumi had no competition during his era. Even when he did have competition he lost the championship, (Villneuve, Hakkinen, Alonso).

Schumi used to do this when he raced in Karts. Also The FIA said no to Renaults mass damper system, stating it was a moveable aerodynamic system, but the race stewards at the actual event said it was ok. Instead of taking a chance and running the damper they took it off, because if they lost the appeal to the FIA they would lose any points won during the race. BTW the damper is inside the nose cone, how the is that an aerodynamic device?

However, this would have been very easy to correct. Well maybe you should read articles more closely. Every other team had the same suspension technology, but Renaults was much better. This was known to the FIA since last year's championship. NOTHING ILLEGAL. The only reason it was disallowed in the middle of this season was because Alonso was well ahead of anyone. To make the championship interesting, they eliminated Renault's advantage so that opponents could could get closer.
Yup. i'd agree. mass damper systems are nothing new to F1 and most of the teams have dabbled with it. Unfortunately for "certain teams" it was only Renault who took advantage of it and made it work.

You can't do such a thing from telemetry. The criteria should be was it beyond any reasonable doubt, and it clearly wasn't beyond any reasonable doubt. Telemetry only records inputs and vectors. It does not EXPLAIN anything.

You're right, Alonso did not slow down, Renault was just too full with themselves to admit that they could not beat Schumacher. And by the way, a 7 times World Champion, who would have more if it wasn't for broken leg in '99 and other misfortunes, doesn't need such tricks to win. This is clearly a mistake, but unintentional, and it's completely insane that Schumacher got a penalty got this. He has proven in the race and in Brasil that he is the best indeed.

Schumi had no competition during his era. Even when he did have competition he lost the championship, (Villneuve, Hakkinen, Alonso).
Schumacher is an excellent driver im not doubting that, its Just....the fastest driver of all time is Senna. The most naturally gifted talent of all time was Clark. driver with the Will to win...Mansell. And Prost is the most consistant.

Senna never did anything like this, once Senna crashed Prost, as Prost crashed him the year before at the same track. Senna crashed him because the rules of the grid changed in Ferraris favor and he announced his intention before the start of the race. Schumacher cheats every season. Schumi used to do this when he raced in Karts. Also The FIA said no to Renaults mass damper system, stating it was a moveable aerodynamic system, but the race stewards at the actual event said it was ok. Instead of taking a chance and running the damper they took it off, because if they lost the appeal to the FIA they would lose any points won during the race. BTW the damper is inside the nose cone, how the is that an aerodynamic device?

Well maybe you should read articles more closely. Every other team had the same suspension technology, but Renaults was much better. This was known to the FIA since last year's championship. NOTHING ILLEGAL. The only reason it was disallowed in the middle of this season was because Alonso was well ahead of anyone. To make the championship interesting, they eliminated Renault's advantage so that opponents could could get closer.

Yup. i'd agree. mass damper systems are nothing new to F1 and most of the teams have dabbled with it. Unfortunately for "certain teams" it was only Renault who took advantage of it and made it work.
Its a shame... 7 times WDC but resorting to this kind of trickery... I just hope he doesn't try to ram Alonso to win the title like he did with Hill and JV.

Yeah he did it on purpose. BUT he should have gotten away with it. The stewards decision was a crock of shit. They are making huge assumptions from telemetry. You can't do such a thing from telemetry. The criteria should be was it beyond any reasonable doubt, and it clearly wasn't beyond any reasonable doubt. Telemetry only records inputs and vectors. It does not EXPLAIN anything.
They made their decision on a personal viewpoint. Their decision creates a STUPID precedent.

This was during the final qualifying session, in the last 10 seconds, when Alonso was running quicker than him on the track. Regardless, schumacher was put in the back of the gride, and alonso dominated the whole race (although Kimi might have won if the McLaren hadn't poofed).
