Nice work overall. If you're going to shoot handheld, you would greatly benefit from some motion tracking. During the charge down the fence at 1:24, the fact that the environment is moving but the ricochets remain constant give the compositing away. Also, the dust/smoke from the last bullet hit in that shot vanishes rather abruptly. Also, look into this for your moving shots: littlegreatideas dot cahm slash stabilizer slash diy

Recommendation: If you're going to shoot the film while wandering around, you might try to build a counter weight so that the camera doesn't shake so much. That way you can even run with your camera and the imagem will be stable enough. I mean, the shaky camera isn't groovy anymore... it's just bloody annoying. Cheers!

I know this is a little late, and you may have learned this already, but what really makes films look good is a good establishing shot, and then a good amount of close ups. That especially goes for when they are moving form place to place, it takes the attention away from the (this is nearly unavoidable -->) set which is not of period design.

the muzzle flash for the thompson is actually upside down, u need to mirror it so the flash goes upwards. actually, its completely incorrect to even use that flash for your homemade M1A1 since that model of the thompson did not come with a cutts compensator on the front thusly giving it the unique "L" shaped flash. just use a regular flash, that way u wont have WW2 nerds hackin at ya like me. lol good job tho, looks cool.
