Just a suggestion,but i wouldnt try to go for the power/signature punches too early in the fight,only use them to wear him down alot when you know hes gettin tired.use jabs more often since your guys a speed type and since your good at countering use that more often it'll really make a difference,I always used to use the two power punches{Strong Left&Rights}but i kept getting worn out too easily in the tougher fights,thats when i started using speed and became undefeated in my entire career.

the max age for boxer @fight night rd3 is 65

if u play in hard dificluty at career mode the enemy will not punch u when u reach the age 57 ++.

Dude!I only deafeted Ali ONCE on EASY with Oscar De La Hoya wearing 20%speed gloves,20%stamina trunks,20%speed shoes,and that 20%chin mouthpiece and i think it ended up with the ref stopping the fight,but it was too damn close,yup i suck at this game LOLZ even though i'm good with the combos...

Man, your pretty good at this game. I was wondering if you can help me with something. That is parrying. How do you parry so good and then counter with a hard hit. For me, sometimes I nail a parry but then my counter follows up with weak uppercuts and hooks. Rarely I counter with hard hits. And how do you avoid getting parried? Me, everytime I throw a punch, out of 10 punches, 7 of them will be parried. I know, I suck at the game, that's why I am in need of help.

Keep that guard up! Depending on the opponent, you might want to guard against the jab to the face. Most other punches will give you enough time to move your blocking to wherever the opponent aims. As the fight continues, your opponent's punches will slow down, making it easier to parry and counter. One of the keys is to counter with a Haymaker. This gives you the energy boost so that your Punch Meter won't go down as much. You'll have quicker hands to block and punch with as a result.

i had the same problem, as far as parrying goes, watch your opponents gloves, theres a split second before he punches were you can tell what kinda of punch he will throw by where he winds his fists. and as for getting parried, just throw alotta jabs and mix it up before you go for hard hits.

Yes, I do that, I watch the opponents gloves, sometimes I can tell which hand they will use to throw a punch but I can't tell if they are going to punch low or high. Can you tell me how you can tell? Thanks for your help, I appreciate it very much. Getting parried annoys me very much.
