I don't know how to feel about this album, I mean I fuckin love the riffs, they're probably better than death magnetic's but the thing is, wether you liked it or not you listen to death magnetic and feel like it's complete wich doesn't happens with this album. St. Anger had some good parts to it, but I would definitely say that it needed some work. Real production, contributions from Rob, and some more Kirk. Definitely had some great riffs and some great parts to it. I'm a real Metallica fan so I liked it parts of it, it was necessary for Metallica.

People are ignorant, St. Anger was suppose to be this because of the anger through the band and people think that just because they moved to different lower tunings it automatically means this albums sucks. UNTRUE. My guess is those people only heard the first 2 seconds of each song.

I've been listening to this album a lot lately and it's really grown on me. I love het's guitar sound. It's the only album since the "old" stuff that he doesn't sound like he's playing through 20k worth of gear. Don't get me wrong, his sound when playing through his ridiculous rig is amazing, but I like the simplified feel/sound of this album a lot. These vids do a nice job of proving these guys are human. Awesome human, but still human.
