Saw part 1 & 2. Great work. If you could next time you're moving and placing very large boulders, could you demonstrate or film the technique used of stringing it up, moving it and placing it? Thanks.
Wow the swans are amazing! BUT! Even though the pond and waterfall are starting to look amazing, I feel that backfilling this swimming pool so much was a little but of a waste. The opportunity for a deep pond like this is rare. I guess the costumer did not want a deep pond? If it were me, I would make shelves, but maintain maximum possible depth. I love this pond, cant wait for part two!
@Arteolike Hey arteom, yes to have it as ddep as possible would be great, but there is a method to my madness. We had to fill in a bit for this project, but it is still a big pond and has some pretty monster koi in it. Part 2 is in edit and will be out in a few weeks!
@jeffxl12 Hi Jeff, I can't really say exactly what it cost the customer for their privacy, but a project like this could run from 18K to 28K depending on how many "frills" this type of project has.
i bet this one cost them a lot! but if i were to have a pool converted to a pond i would like to maximize the space and depth of it. but this work was very great especially the landscaping. good job sir mike! :)
@gianolrac Hi thanks for the comment. Ideally to have maximum size would be great. For this particular project we had to fill in a bit for some local ordinances. Still a pretty big pond even with filling in a bit!

how much does something like this run a customer?
jeffxl12 9 months ago
@jeffxl12 Many thousands, since the hole was dug, it probably cut the cost significantly. I'm guessing 20k???
