  • that was awesome

  • I'm a guitar player for 30 years, composer, producer and engineer..Frampton is one of my top 5 best rock guitar players!... ranking higher than Clapton.....a superb musician , hail to you Peter!!

  • The song is just a great song no matter who you like doing it. I like all of the versions.

  • He should just weep into his talkbox

  • Yeah, pretty damn good.

  • Agree- Prince was just awsome on his version

  • Yeah Prince got them all beat

  • Please listen to the version by Prince.

  • I don't know about being better now than in the 70's. Some of his work with Humble Pie was amazing. But i guess we all mature and do things better as we ripen!

  • He looks like Justin Hawkins in the pic!

  • @stevobath

i think it's Justin Hawkins that looks like Peter Frampton

  • @SemiAwesomeRockStars You know what I mean?! lol

  • Wow!

  • Greatest .

  • WOW god damn Frampton! This is amazing! He is so under appreciated!

  • just too damn good.. heard most versions.. for me, a very close call for the best between this one and Prince's.. hats off to George Harrison though for this masterpiece that continues to inspire so many guitarists! Peace! :)

  • I agree with you that Frampton is underrated, but I think he's even better now than he was in the 1970s. He played in my town a few months ago, and I can't wait until he comes back.

  • esos tres q no les gusto no tienen ni idea de musica la verdad han de ser fans de espinoza mierda algo asi

  • Peter Frompton is a very underrated guitar player. Great version of a classic.

  • Quel son....quel talent....c'est la plus belle version qui existe!!!

  • Have to agree, this is probably the best version I've heard!

  • just to those clapton haters out there...the song is "while my guitar GENTLY weeps". Clapton hit the nail on the head.

  • @ascreamingwalrus clapton s overated this is the best version just outstanding

  • @phenix749

    Clapton recorded the original solo!

  • ISSO QUE É MÚSICA DE VERDADE!!!!!

  • I just heard this on the radio. I had to stop and listen

And now I don't remember what I was doing before I started listening :)

  • I LOVE YOUR HAIR!!!!! *girly scream*

  • No version of "While My Gutiar Gently Weeps" touches the Rock n' Roll Hall of fame version in which Prince takes the lead part. This is quite good, though.

The worst guitar part of all the versions of this song is Eric Clapton. God he is not!

  • George Harrison & Eric Clapton is the best by far. But this is still good.

  • Santana Cover it's Bether...!! I Like this But Santana it's Good to ...!

  • Where can i get a download of this?

  • what a great cover

  • I never realized how good a songwriter and musician George Harrison was until recently. Peter performs one of the best versions I have heard.

  • It's derivative though, not much originality in his interpretation. Slow Hand tops them all.

  • I love Peter Frampton, and his guitar playing is amazing. George Harrison was a genius who had to work hard at writing songs. This track is pure gold and no one plays it bad.

  • @TheBobitt Absolutely correct. Unless you are messing up big times, it just sounds great.

  • He's been doing this cover for years but this recording is from his album Now from 2009. It's available on vinyl as well as cd. You are so right. Totally underrated and an incredible talent. If the record industry hadn't inbsisted on turning him into a teen idol we may have seen more like this in the old days.

  • good cover...my heart still belongs to George Harrison and Eric Clapton on the original track.

  • I don't comment often, but when I do I try to be positive. That being said, this was an amazing cover of one of the best songs ever written. The solos were amazing. The vocal was right on. I still feel the original was the definitive version, but this is a well crafted cover by a very very talented artist. Bravo!

  • does anybody know when Peter did it? I'm a real Beatles fan, but that won't keep me from saying: this version knocks me out!

  • Peter Frampton has got to be in my opinion one of the most under rated guitarist of our times! He also has such a lovely voice~just amazing!

Loved him from the very first time that I heard him back in the 70's! xoxoxo

  • Amazing!!!!! the best cover ever I saw him yestearday and he played this song, he blew my mind away!!!

  • george wasn't going to record this with the beatles cause john and paul wasn't interested till george had clapton play on it

  • Love that he still has and plays this guitar. The ones that are working for you are the ones you stick with. Love is guitar playing, voice and the 'talk box' that he, BTW, invented!!!

    SpeakTruer

  • a melhor versão... adoro!

  • Great Solo

  • I saw him in Cincinnati (his hometown) his last show of the tour! The man still has it!!

  • Rip Gorge Harrison... You changed rock solos in history, even now the best guitarist in the world play your songs. You are missed but your songs will live forever.

  • Frampton is one of the best rockers of the 60's (lead guitar and foil for Steve Marriott in Humble Pie); 70's (solo) & 80's (solo & with David Bowie) no doubt about it - a stellar talent!

  • damn he is good....beautiful

  • @mhennessey67 I'm with ya on that! Peter is brilliant in so many ways!!

  • yes peter yo had hit the nail with a gold hammer

  • le mixe du son n ' est pas comme george ! mais c' est une prestation!

  • By Far the best version. Frampton just nails it!

  • George is George, he wrote the song! Don't take me wrong this version is a great tribute, after all George had Framptom under his wing for a while.

  • @jantley1 Actually it was Eric Clapton who sat in with the Beatles and played the lead on WMGGW, George's song, for sure - but not his lead guitar.

  • George is George, he wrote the song!

  • Amazing as always Peter!! Suits his voice too but I love anything he does! Sorry George not to take away from you, but it's the best!!

  • on my mp3 player from the 'Now' album - buy it xxx

  • I saw Peter at Birchmere in VA on 2009. When he played this song, I couldn't stop crying. Too good. I miss George like Peter did.

  • Org*smic. No other words can describe this.

  • Orgasm*c. No other words can describe this.

  • Orgasmic. No other words can describe this.

  • Whooa ! Solid rendition, best music arrangement, unbeatable !

  • agree!! even if i love eric clapton's version (e.c. fanatic!!!) i couldn't agree more that this one is probably the best.. At least as far as ''quitar weeping'' is concerned....

  • @repanas6 no u need to listen the yellow mustard, they have the best rendition to george harrison

  • Heard most versions, without doubt this is the best. Frampton was so underated. Superb, how a gibson les paul should be played

  • @bothrops9 I think George Harrison's version is the best

  • It weeps....

  • the best version for me. Don't think Jeff Healey's is all that good tbh. Santana's is an interesting take though...

  • Santana fucked up this music with the masterization. True musicians have to prevail.

  • @Airraidsiren60 There many interesting versions apart from the Beatles that is; Jef Healey's, Steve Lukather's, Frampton's, Santana's (which I don't care for much) but each version is a tribute to George Harrison's extraordinary talent!

  • great solo

  • better than the beatles

  • Really really good, makes me miss George, great tribute Peter.

  • Jeff Healey's version is better than all of them.RIP JH

  • Blimey! Is it better than Clapton's? I think so... brilliant. Hari Georgeson would be so proud.

  • Que buena rola se tiró don Peter!

  • it's better than the original....it's the best ever!!!

  • ... gently, it weeps. Lovely.
