Well someone doesn't know what Europe looks like on a map. On the real world map, Ireland is an island north of central Europe, Florida and Mexico are completely different to the real world map and There is no Greenland or Iceland on that map. I don't know what you think the world looks like but I know for a fact that the map in this video is very different to our own.

now, those rescue squads, if you look closely, the patches they have on their left shoulder are the emblem of the Tagruato corporation. why would a buisness company have their own tactical squads? sure some companies have security, but if you look at their own squads, they have some serious stuff

This video is on the DVD. Just wait at scene selections for about 2-3 minutes, and an extra #17 scene. Go to it, There are about 10 or so weird numbers and letters. One of them has this video, one the Slusho! website, and the other the JamieandTeddie videos.

This is actually on the DVD, you need a program like Handbrake if you want to find them easily though. YOu can also find a bunch of Jamie videos on it too.
They're listed as different titles. You put it in through handbrake. And then you select the titles to rip. You find a bunch of videos that are only a minute long. When you copy them on, you'll find a lot of interesting stuff. Such as the videos, and even the slusho commercial.

Yeah, At 00:31 I see a tentacle on the left leg of the drilling station. So now there are two possibilities about the monster.
1. The drilling station awoke the monster.
2. The satelite hit the monster.
I believe BOTH happened because this happened in January in the movie and the satelite dropped out of the sky in April so he got so mad that he swam all the way to New York and killed people and that's it so yeah there ya go I hope they make a second one so we know for sure.

There is perhaps some relevance to the US coast guard being at the scene, as mentioned at the end of the clip. It is possible that they saw the creature there and this may justify the abrupt arrival of the military at New York after the attack.
If noone survived, how'd they get the cell phone footage? (I mean, how would a cell phone survive; it would malfunction; a person would have to carry it to shore.)

The monster was not provoked because of the station, but because of the satellite that falls into the ocean at the end of the movie. I think the reason it attacked the station was because it may of had a big deposit of Slusho's secret ingredient (something that is part of what the monster eats perhaps?) instead of oil. I also believe that is why it attacked the oil ship.
nsrrr19 brought this up in the comments of the japanese version of the video. Start watching from 1:39-1:49, if you look near the top right screen, it looks like the monster's swimming but then again it could be just part of a building falling into the ocean

I figured it out! I know what it all means! Cloverfield isn't a movie! it was given to JJ Abrams by time travelers who came back to warn us about the monster! Tagruato, slusho, and TIDOwave are all real! r they soon will be at least.....hahaha I'm joking of course but you cant say it isn't the most ridiculous explanation you've heard thus far.

There is perhaps some relevance to the US coast guard being at the scene, as mentioned at the end of the clip. It is possible that they saw the creature there and this may justify the abrupt arrival of the military at New York after the attack.

SPOILERS:
The monster was not provoked because of the station, but because of the satellite that falls into the ocean at the end of the movie. I think the reason it attacked the station was because it may of had a big deposit of Slusho's secret ingredient (something that is part of what the monster eats perhaps?) instead of oil. I also believe that is why it attacked the oil ship.

nsrrr19 brought this up in the comments of the japanese version of the video. Start watching from 1:39-1:49, if you look near the top right screen, it looks like the monster's swimming but then again it could be just part of a building falling into the ocean

Nevertheless, the news report don't look like a mainstream USA news report, the other languages achieved a more 'realistic' look.
In real life though, they will use stock footages and these video clips are never shown until they pass the censors. Heck, you probably wouldn't heard about the news in the first place. These clips are shown only because these are fake news reports for a movie.
