Reggae music has a long tradition of scrutinizing slavery and colonialism so to hear a Zionist encouraging the continued illegal occupation of Jerusalem by Zionists on a reggae riddim is just disgusting on any day...
Matisyahu has no competition!! I have seen him many times..met him twice and No body's gonna take his stride,,nobody's gonna hold him down no,no he's got to keep on moving stay alive!!
It's just occured to me that praising God through singing and dancing is actually one of the precepts of Hassidism. Matis stays so true to this tradition doing what he does on stage, and drawing other people into it.
@klotylda Matisyahu really is the only artist out there that is actually spreading the message of world peace and unity. In my opinion if an Angel from Heaven had a voice it would sound like his.
His songs bring me to a really beautiful place no matter whats going on in life.
@ArBiTeR0000Tactical I totally agree. His music came to me at a difficult time in my life and it felt/ feels like a blessing. I listened to my first concert of his with tears of gratitude streaming down my face. Sorry if I sound sentimental : )
I worked with Matisyahu and he is one of the kindest people you would ever want to meet. I apolofize to any orthodox Jew who may find my Youtube handle offensive.

I bet he's one of the Jews that does not agree with the occupation of palestinian territory.
