Well, look at the topic of the video she chose to comment on. It's obviously not English, so why make a comment like the one she did?

YouTube is great, because of the international, multilingual nature that inherently comes with the opportunity for anyone in the world to post videos.

I enjoy immensely the opportunity to explore other languages and cultures. It just makes me sick that often I can't read the English some people are writing due to inability to use proper spelling and grammar.

You're correct, not everyone knowS English perfectly, or else everyone would know how to correctly conjugate a verb.

My initial objection to the post made by HockeeGurl was two-fold. On the one hand, she didn't know how to use English correctly. That's forgivable. On the other hand, and much less forgivable, is the comment she made.  She viewed a video that is OBVIOUSLY French in nature, and she chose to make a comment that implies that all comments should be in English. She's ethnocentric.
