You just have to know what you're doing, because if you don't you will get hurt and could lose your life. I've done these rapids and slides for years and if you do it right you'll be fine! Jumping off the bridge is awesome too!!

when , in doubt talk with the locals, watch them,...the amount of water in this mountain rivers is on vital importance,I love water slides and have done some tough ones, in Argentina
I did that once in 2006 too. Then, I weighed too little to go rafting so me and my aunt just spent the day there. This summer, we went white water rafting and the water was so high because of the rain that if it were half an inch higher before the launch, we would have all needed a guide in our boat. By the time we were out, it was about 3 inches higher than regulation! We went to go on the slides afterwords but there were police officers turning people back...too much water? NAH!!!

i was just there and did that, but it wasnt nowhere near that fast because the water level is so low there right now

I was just there yesterday. Rafted the Yough and checked out the slide late in the day. I definitely want to go back soon.
