  • This is quite genius I would say. PEACE

  • crazy dope!

  • reminds me of SUICIDE

  • reminds me of SUICIDE. Green Eggs and Hammond Steez

  • I hope dilla did'nt really give him that "Circus" beat,I want it.

  • wow!

  • craig mack thinks this is dope....

  • Clearly this is a critique on the typical experimental genre and how it still falls back on the same boring love story. Of course it's a bit painful to watch/listen to!... Love is the American religion, right after buying things.

  • I listen to it... and I dont know if I like it or not, but at the same time, i can't stop it.... The video, the music, its weirdness is addictive lol

  • stones throw..... what.... in the blue hell..... IS THIS GARBAGE?

  • The Fuck!?!? Doom! Madlib! Mayer! Dam Funk! Wr the Fuck are yall AT!!!!

  • I Like This Beat

  • "Daisies Grow" is like the first time I heard Ornette Coleman's free jazz or saw Basquiat's paintings, I get it!!!

  • idk how to take this....yeah well

  • it its pretty dope it kinda reminds me of a grace jones vibe :)

  • Wtf , ppl like this? LOL

  • how crazy that the likes and dislikes are almost even!!

  • would had been nice if dude voices wasnt so wack, wit some funky lyrics...

  • good for movies

  • sounds like sex

  • Margaridas crescem até mesmo em vão de pavimentos de cimentos.

  • Deep mezmerizing shit! I luv it! When daisies grow... YAY! : )

  • is this on the folerio 45?

  • a true hipster at that

  • Like.

    Pure Fires.

  • I don't hear any Suicide, in this. I see a hipster who watched a no-wave documentary. I enjoy left-field music, and performance art. This just seems forced.

    Dislike.

  • Sweet - This is the sort of stuff DJs need to break up a night of constant 4/4

  • this song captivates that delusional state you get into when your "in love" perfectly. AWESOME!

  • Black hipster ;D

  • the problem is he can't sing

  • Unconditional Expression

  • love does crazy things to people, and Bryant K's "Daisies Grow" is proof!

  • man, this is some of the freshest, most heartfelt et unique music i've heard in a long time! Bryant K is putting himself out there, trying to create something new, and he deserves more respect! i'm looking forward to seeing a LP from this guy, he's definitely got an idiosyncratic style et tripped-out take on life! keep it up!

  • my ears just threw up a little bit. stones throw what are u guys doing?!?!?? -____-

  • @XxXTheCoolxXx that. I mean.. wtf!

  • This is not for dumb rap goonz

  • 2:15 - 2:24...best part !

  • I don't get what the dislikes are about, I really liked it. It's something new and different, it's great

  • This Makes Me Wanna Take QueTipS in Jam them in my ears until they bleed....This is Fuckin Retarded...

  • i thought it was an intro, but it just kept on going, and going and going, i nearly shot myself.

  • Bought the single on the strength of this video, love it.

  • LOL @ all the simpletons who don't realize the brilliance. i guess if its not little wayne or autotune its wack huh faggots?

  • ...besides , there's no accounting for taste

  • if it's too complicated or difficult for anyone , there is always possibility to change the channel

  • love it when they bring somfin out that they know the majority won't like:-) origanal weird strange and good

  • you can tell this song was good from the comments. its either "I LOVE IT" or "I HATE IT". good job.

  • This is great, there are too many haters on youtube!

  • this is like Gary Wilson x Maxwell

  • daisies are a kind of unkempt wild flower. it makes sense.

  • this shit is wack. lyrics dont really connect and they r expressed pretty bad. like he wasnt trying. is that the art? idk man i just dont get it.

  • Well....that was different....

  • ill be the judge of this . lets see . . wuut iin thuhhhhhh ?

  • I love this, sounds like Suicide or Throbbing Gristle almost.

  • Someone needs to shoot this dude up with alot of heroin, but watch him make sure he OD's

  • would be so much more listenable if the vocals were a bit quieter I WOULD RAISE THIS SHIT UP

  • i quite like it.

watch people either hate it or be all like OMG THIS SHIT IS GENIUS AHEAD OF ITS TIME YOU JUST DONT GET IT MAN!!

    fuck that.

to me this track is quite cool, thas about it.

  • Did he make sure to give credit to the 4 year old who wrote the lyrics

  • Peeps don't get it, cuz they r not used to Prince, Ric Ocasek, David Bowie, Bryan Ferry, Nine Inch Nails, or Bob Dylan: singers who have a style of Talk-Singing (w/ echo). After several openmined listens, they'll get it... 5 years later, when critics hail Bryant K for being cerebrally ahead of 2011! this is bad-ass! The song is great, AS IS, and geniusly directed. nice!!!! :)))) :D :D :D

  • @MikeFromNewYork youre comparing this to Prince? I dont know what youre thinking of.

  • @wizegy85 not 'stylistically/musically/melodically'. i'm referring only to 'talk/singing' style of vocals in which it's part talking, part melodic at times, alternating (ocasek, prince, bowie, guy&ian of fugazi, shutter to think). <3

  • come on now singing off key like a stroke victim isnt progressive. i hope stones throw doesnt go too far in this direction

  • dis guy a fucken crackhead

  • Average song but shouldn't deserve a film clip

  • This is some bullshit.

  • If you don't get it > it ain't for you! keep it moving moes>

  • I don't mind the beat, but I don't like the vocals. Not a very great tune in my opinion, but I don't think people should criticize a label for being experimental.

Sure, lots of people don't like this tune, but why do they think the label has an obligation to them to always release music they like? As long as they are still releasing other dope records it's all good. Experimentation is definitely a positive thing.

  • @ameoba10 that's not experimental, that's crap

  • @MsDugie The word experimental does not necessarily have a positive connotation. In other words, your argument doesn't make sense. Are you saying you think it's crap and also not experimental?

Actually, listening this a second time, I don't mind it. It is pretty interesting there are almost equal likes and dislikes.

  • @ameoba10 I meant that I don't think there was much of an experiment making this track. There's nothing innovative in it. There are a bunch of artists that have already perfected that style, with cool beats and beautiful spoken word.

I agree with you about the beat and the vocals. But the worst part is that it seems to me kinda pretentious.. like he's trying too hard. oh!and the lyrics are crap :P

  • It is weak and i don't get it at all.. Stone throw wake up or you will end up like Rawkus..

  • I like it! Has a "TV on the Radio" feel to it.

  • Beautiful

  • you plant, you water, it grows...yeah I love you...yeah, yeah, yeah

  • This blows my mind in a wonderful way. Those who don't like it probably have never known true love or how daisies grow. Thank you Bryant K and Stones Throw for being amazing and perfect in every way. Shake them haters off...

  • Usually Stones Throw has a good ear for absract or non- mainstream sounding musicians, but they messed up with this guy..... Really badly

  • Is this a track?

  • Is this a song?

  • i think i like this, reminds me of some gorillaz more weird stuff

  • hes maybe 1000 or 200 years ahead of his time...but still it sucks

  • Loves it!!!

  • Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck you haters if you dont like like it then dont listen and move on.

  • no disrespect to to stonesthrow and this artist but the best singer in the world couldn't sound half-decent on this beat

  • yeah if it was a female vocalist over this "beat" then maybe it could sound alright.

  • I like it...

  • Fail

  • what the hell is this

  • dislike

  • its like a wack dudley perkins lol with no madlib beats

  • fuckin stupid

  • this is raw.

  • i was like daymmmmmmmmmmm whens this beat gunna drop .... then it never did

  • @Ddoomalay looooooooll same here

  • damn, you should just got with the real thing, Cody Chestnutt, and not this.

  • this shit is worse than the last

  • c'mon...lol

  • This is interesting and off. I like it.....i think

  • wtf is this????

  • if his voice wasnt so fuckin bad, like literally get somebody who can actually sing and this would be decent. right now it sounds like a joke honestly lol.

  • shit kobe bryant made a song.

  • @shegwin haha yea, he signed with stonesthrow, didnt you know?

  • reminds me of RehDogg. Whyyyyy do i cryyyyyyy! come on, this shit is terrible.

  • Lowering the quality of music is wack. This is terrible prob took like 5 minutes to make that beat. Did he write that shit?

  • Sounds like a another dudley perkins....FAIL!

  • The negative comments are hilarious

  • Um.. Yeah but.. Nah... I hope someone likes it. Big up Stones throw records for doing work regardless of whether or not you like all their releases. If you are going to criticise at least have the brains to do it creatively. Phuck you very much...

  • diggin it

  • BAHAHAH

  • Shit's weird.

  • little too abstract for my tastes

  • The songs not bad, the artist isnt bad, the story isnt bad. The combination of the voice and the beat is just painful to the ears, (Actually.). I like it though.

  • wackity wack

  • garbage.

  • This is hilarious!

  • lol

  • Im a stones throw supporter, but this shit is fuckin garbage. Give me a new Quasimoto or Madvillain album and stop bullshittin'.

  • Um...what?

  • I understand this is supposed to be artsie, but this isn't pleasant to my ears. Not hating on it, just not my thing.
