something like this happened to me like this in chockolate island.i went into the grey pipe to the place whith the turn block arrow and the P switch(i brought yoshi).i went down spat the P switch at the pipe tried to get on it.......and bang,im in the cliff!and when i jumped off yoshi to get out he was sliding back and fourth inside the cliff....it was wierd!but i cant seem to do it again...

yea i did this in the SNES version. u do that but when it hits u do the spin the INSTANT u hit the corner n it wil sometimes work. It fuckn killed me once...

This is a bug in collision detection. The same kind of bug can be seen when flying into stairs in a special way in some ghost houses.

It takes skill to discover a bug like this, but in the same time, bugs like can be expected.

Umm my cousins and I found this out 12 years ago when we were only 6. You can do this by running sliding then jumping into the ground and it should be easier.
