Hey Tricey! Of course you could of done the same thing that the wedding planner could have except for the added stress. Planning a wedding is stressful and there mishaps that happens like in your situation with the venue closing down. A Wedding wouldn't even sweat that, because we have so many good relationships with other venues and hotels that would be able to take over and have your wedding. Whereas a bride faced with this drama would completely freak out.

I'm so sorry to hear about your set back. I've been watching your wedding videos from the beginning. I can honestly say you're very determined and strong. You can and will reset from this. You may need to take a break for a couple days and go back at it. You'll find a place. And I honestly I believe it'll be better than the first place.

I'm with hiring am affordable wedding planner. Dont stress yourself. if not, go to your number 2 place. the one that you had compared this one with if that makes since.

Trust me, if you still want your sanity, hire a wedding planner. And believe me I know what I'm talking about. I'm an Event Planner!! I hope everything works out for you and you have the perfect wedding. God Bless =-)

Honestly, at this point, I think you should hire a wedding planner. You look very overwhelmed and like you’re about to breakdown and cry. Your wedding should be an enchanting experience. Let the planner deal with all of the stressful details. Your job should be doing the little fun things that come along with the process like cake/ food tastings, and hair trials, etc... Since you have already started the process, the planner should not charge to a lot to complete all of the details. Stay Strong!

Hi Tricey, this is Alwaysbubblydeva and I feel your pain and disappointments. Weddings are a pain but at the same time it can be an enjoyable function. I did my wedding and went through alot of happy and low moments. There was plenty of moments I was like ok I'm through I dont want to do this, lol. But hun, I'm here to say that it will workout. If bridesmaids offer help please allow them to cuz weddings are so stressful and to have help is much needed. I wish I lived near you to offer my help.
