We like ours, but it is not kicking into defrost mode, so we have to shut it off and let it defrost by itself. I don't think that's going to work all winter. Any way to force the defrost mode on? Thanks!
Helpful Tip: when getting too cold just cover the condenser with plastic blanket, it will give you better performance in heating (don’t forget to remove once temperature above zero)
@sergepinet nice i live in halifax. i'm pretty happy with the cooling installed it at the top of my steps pointing towards the bedrooms and it cools that area nice it all drops to my living room. not bad on my first power bill either cooling only runs 3-4amps

@tightdru The unit runs ok at -15 C so far.. (right now it's +30 c) where we are.. but yah.. i was satisfied.
