I see these a couple of times a year. And also in cases where there is no rain in sight. Could be ice crystals in a cloud, could be chemtrails, have seen these in the cloud created by the planes as they go, depending on angle from me to the sun of course. How many of the following found in Chemtrails would reflect light? Aluminum Magnesium Barium and barium salts Lead Arsenic Uranium Sharp titanium shards Mercury Mold spores Mycoplasma Unidentified bacteria ...among others.
There are different things that will cause rainbow refractions,or lensing, but that looks like the typical "sundog" as my dad calls it. He's in his 80's and has seen them all his life, was seeing them long before our society reached it's current technological state, and he learned the term from HIS dad, who was born in the 1890's and had seen them all HIS life... etc. Rural wisdom was that if the sundog was on the south side of the sun the weather was going to be hotter, on the north side cold
its the chemtrail metal particulates that are being sprayed to disperse the decades of nulcear fallout hot particles floating around in the air, so they don't fall on ice and melt it all. instead the nuclear fallout falls on our heads and food and water supplies, along with unhealthy doses of aluminum and barium salts. yay. these chemtrails have a rainbowing effect as they form clouds, to rain the metals and nuclear fallout on us. woop. woop.
@lorentsmful That's definitely a chemtrail-bow...I've got pictures of that phenomenon as well, with the Sun low in the sky before dusk, the chemtrail after effects make it look sort of like a circular rainbow shape. These special little giblets for us all to admire...pfft... Meanwhile, the barium, aluminum, strontium from the planes and other contaminated goodies from Fukushima just keep piling up.
@russ. My guess it was an Ion beam shot from the boys near camp penalton in San Diego and it condences the atmosphere and it has bein floatong around since 12-21-2011. If you check youtube you might see two one went south west and the other went dam near north. In the day they look like cotton with a light in them. David A. Puchta
Depending on the temp, it could be really could up there and warmer closer to the ground. The condensation in the air at that location could have sparked the rainbow. Or it's a lens flare off your windsheild? It would have been cool to see it from a different driven angle. Next time try that and see if it shows up.
@b0utch - its a sun dog - I've seen hundreds of them since i was only a kid, seen them all over the world - nothing new to me at all. Dont try and blame H.A.R.R.P.. It's a Sun Dog, so get over yourself and accept the fact that nature dose some cool stuff..
@mikepowers420 Haarp? what is haarp? I never said it wasn't natural, perhaps you smoke too much pot. Parhelia commonly know as sundog are caused by ligh refraction in cold cloud which contain ice crystal and they usually appear on EACH side of the sun at the same time. To be honest I didn't watch pass 0:14
Actually this is not rare, uncommon yes, but not rare. Cirrus clouds sometime refract the light the same way as rain because they are literally ice crystals. There are currently 3 other vids like yours to the right. I used to love seeing them when I used to work outside. They can occur all year round, but they occur the most in the winter. People tend to blame them on HAARP or Chemtrails, but I can neither confirm nor deny that since both have went on so long.
Yes, Ive seen this before. Its HARRP. When I saw it, you could see the colored spot heating the surounding clouds. I wish I could have gotten the one I saw on video. You should send this to Tom Bearden, he will tell you the same thing, Im sure.

Depends on if the general excepted idea of raining is that the rain drops hit the ground then no, it didn't rain...

its an "ice-bow" in cirrus clouds.
also when you are flying in a plane if you look down on the clouds with the sun above you, you can see it is a rainbow but in a perfect circle

And the answer to you question of "Did it actually rain" is yes and no. Einstein would say "It's all relative" to your elevation. :D

@rwg42985 I've seen missile testing off the coast of L.A. that gave off a rainbow effect from the chemical discharge of the exhaust.
