  • Man, even at low resolution it's clear how tough it is to beat model photography for realism. You may not be able to do some of the more dynamic shots like "Nemesis" did ("Insurrection" looks cheap more often than not and did very little to take advantage of the dynamism CGI offers) but those beauty passes and close up shots using models are spectacular.

  • Beautiful ship and lovely video.

  • I think it's really ugly- such a horrible redesign (not has horrible as the redesign of Picard's personality in the movies though!).

  • I love the Enterprise-E, finnally a starship made for my favorite thing. Combat. :)

  • I wish StarTrek Inc would have leaned what "space" is by this time, I hope the unbelievably lame franchise parishes if it can't get that smoke and "particles" wouldn't behave like that, that and all the depth of field is out of wacky!

  • Clear out Sovereign... time to make room for the Odyssey...

  • @x82ndODSTx she is a alright but still not officially canon ship only in sto. :p

  • @SpearMintKing Wrong!!!! :P

  • Insurrection effects are way Better then nemesis CGI. i Love CGI but Models are better

  • @jeun3sih the CGI E looks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than the insurrection. True using a model makes more real, like in first contact. If the used the cgi desgin and out it on a model would also be awesome.

  • Astronave audio in the space?

  • A bunch of pianos taking off @1:46

  • This is the best federation ship Ive ever seen,

  • Where can I get the music for the nemesis fly by, ??? It's my fav

  • funny part is that every damn vessel shoots photons on the cube but the enterprise thought defiant class and akiras are loaded with a bunch to and as far as i know akiras and steamrunners carry tri cobalt torbs ... could be a bit to close for them though

  • What happened to the battle scenes from Nemesis's and Insurrection?

  • @16FEET I cut them out, because the video would have been to long. It's more like a preview of the Enterprise E.

  • we need one more movie with picard and the enterprise e!!! + riker with his ship.. and lots of enemys exploding...they truely deserve their last adventure and a final run before picards retirement..the stupid death of data was annoying enough..paramount do not dissapoint us again!!! and please no young kirk movie again please!! it should be Enterprise E ... firing a lot of torpedos..

Oben hui, unten pfui!

  • Best FREAKING ship Picard ever had! The sovereign is my Favorite next to the Galaxy X Dreadnought.

  • I miss the old NX instead of NCC registration. The NX listing meant it was a prototype ship. Enterprise is supposed to always be the most cutting edge ship so it should hold the NX classification. Also, in the begining of this vid arn't those quantum torpedoes it fires at the sphere? Never noticed that before.

  • @SpikesOmega That's right, NX stands for a prototype classification. The Enterprise E was not the first ship of its class, it was the Sovereign. If you look at the Excelsior or the Defiant you can see the NX in their registration numbers, because these are prototyps. To the vid: I don't really make a chronological order and in the begining I just wanted to show the firepower of the ship.

  • @Sparmi1 may i amend that saying the Enterprise was first of the class as the USS Sovereign was renamed Enterprise after the D was blown up, however it was given NCC to take after the other Enterprises

  • @MassAirshow

The USS Sovereign was NOT renamed...

  • @MassAirshow :

    They are COMPLETELY different ships!

The USS Sovereign (NX / NCC-73811) was launched in 2371 and became Admiral Katheryn Janeway's flagship after her original flagship, the USS Voyager, returned home from the Delta Quadrant in 2378 after it was stranded there by an alien force (Star Trek: Voyager). The USS Sovereign was destroyed by a warp core breach afterwards (Captain's Glory). The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-E) was launched in 2372 and is still ACTIVE as of 2387.

  • @Sparmi1 Sovereign is a class but it is also named the prototypes name.

  • @SpikesOmega :

Sparmi1 is right. The Enterprise-E wasn't a prototype. The USS Sovereign was (the Sovereign's registry was originally NX-73811).

  • @SpikesOmega: No, the ships are supposed to be experimental (NX) only while the new technology is under development and being tested. It's to signify the ship is a prototype and not in active duty (Star Trek: Enterprise got it completley wrong). Once an experimental ship becomes part of the fleet, it's re-registered 'NCC.'

  • @SpikesOmega Your that the enterprise is the cutting ship as it is the flagship of the federeation as a prototype not sure sure, With prototypes you get flaw sometimes which you need to fix.

  • @SpikesOmega Well, The whole NX registration thing was created pretty recently. The original Enterprise bore the "NCC" registration.

  • @YellingDingo22 They started the NX designation in Star Trek III, so that's not very recent. That movie came out before the internet. LOL.

  • @SpikesOmega Any constructed Enterprise often seems to be the Test Type (in most manufacturing processes, a prototype is built and debugged, a test type is built and debugged, and then the whole design enters mass production). And yes, it always bugged me that it downgraded from quantum torps to standard photons from First Contact through Insurrection / Nemesis.

  • @SpikesOmega it's following in the tradition of the first ships being called Enterprise, dating back to the first sailing ship on earth, some of that history is given in the opening theme of "enterprise", as far as i know, no one ever used the "NX" prefix until the enterprise series came out

  • @Graham987654 upon further review "enterprise" is reserved as a flagship or explorer name, sometimes the prototype but that name is not reserved for that purpose, my apologies for my earlier mistake

  • Enterprise Wins

  • what is the part at 2:27 - 2:34

  • @firestar10100 That's the "Captain's Yacht" The scene is from Insurrection. Sadly that bit of departure is about all we've ever gotten to see of that lovely little vessel.

  • u know what bugs the hell out of me. in all the star trek movies, they never ever ever mention that the enterprise e is a sovereign class ship. i had to find that out online. i assumed it was a new class of galaxy star ships lol

  • The Enterprise...the Biggest dog in Starfleet's yard.

  • My favourite ship ever. =O

  • i want the enterprise e because at 2:27 it a 2 ship ship

  • Did you know that Piccard is no longer the Captain of the Enterprise? Data is. Check out Countdown and you can see Data: Captain of the USS Enterprise.

  • The Enterprise E is a giant can of whoop ass.

  • The Sovereign is so damm great!!

  • Beautifull ship! My absolutely favorite class, elegant, strong, looks sharp. Those elyptic shapes suit much better than this saucer-spatula type last classes resembled

  • Awesome, thanks so much for making this :)

  • @xXDissolvedGirlXx Thanks! It's a pleasure for me if you like it :-)

  • @xXDissolvedGirlXx 1:10 is the old v'ger "theme" isn't it

  • Yeah. Sovereign is the best ship Fedaration ever built. ;-) But I could to chose I would rather take Intrepid (Voyager) class ship. ;-)

  • It's a shame the last shot we got of the Enterprise E was of it in space dock and not sailing the stars.
