  • stupi fish lol

  • NILES: It takes a brave man to just chuck it all. Cross the ocean in pursuit of a new life in a new country.

    DAPHNE: Or a brave woman.

NILES: Oh, yes, that's absolutely right. That's exactly what you did.

FRASIER: Just like Dr. Barton you bade farewell to the comforts of hearth and home and filled your sails with the winds of change and adventure.

DAPHNE: I never looked at it that way. Now I'll have something to think about this afternoon when I'm rubbing your dad's bum.

    LOL!

  • this should of been known as one of the best episodes.. when Eddie jumped on the couch and placed his paw on their guest's leg, i almost lost it, the whole room stood still and was just wondering what was going to happen next..freakin hilarious..and when Martin burst out that verse about a hippopotamus... again.. histarical... lmao.

  • Dad!!!? . Lol!!

  • Eddie came to the couch!! Lol!!

  • Ickabod Crane, that was too funny

  • Martin stole the show when he joins in the piano singing at the end lol

  • I heard Brasseye as oppopsed to Brassaï. Its Nineties British television.

  • "WITH MANY AWFUL FACTS ABOUT THE SCARY HIPPOPOTAMUS!!!!"

    I just love Martin! XD

  • omg this episode is wowowowowowoow howww high class is this showwwwww

  • haha, the original "Frasier" meets the modern Frasier :)

  • Is Roz's outfit an homage to David Odgen Stier's role in M*A*S*H?

  • @welshpuppy44 Could very well be! I really loved that show...must remember to watch it again sometime.

  • One of the last great episodes of Frasier and one of the best from the entire run. It stands like an Everest amongst the foothills of the many lesser episodes of series 8 to 11.

  • "With many awful facts about the scary hippopotamus!"

  • I'm assuming u dont go by Niles anymore? HAHA

  • Vladimir Crane

  • I dont suppose you go by niles anymore.

  • David Crane BOOM - the Real name :D

  • Jason Crane, boom!!

  • That last scene with the school admissions is similar to the incident with Frasier's will in Cheers, where, in a flash-forward scene, a "widowed" Lilith and an adult Frederick go to Frasier's lawyer in Boston to read his will and it reads that Sam's sperm count is adequate.

  • Eddie made me laugh so much in this one! xD

And when Niles' leg fell asleep! xD xD xD

  • or maybe pocahontas :S ? im not sure >.<

  • The New guy in this episode did a characters voice for the cartoon with hunch back. >.<

  • Man, ANOTHER Star Trek connection. Stiers (Leland) played Timicin on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

  • It seems as though Leland would be visiting Martin instead of Frasier since Frasier was only 7 when he left for Paris. He barely spoke to Martin.

  • You force the same drottle-stop. JA-CK-KCRANE! lmao

  • Lmao!

as soon as martin looked at his sons for five seconds, he was like *ughh* again xD

  • Martin's so cute...I love him!

  • "Just don't get into a staring contest with him......." I Love EDDIE!!!!!

  • "With many different facts about the scary hippopotamus!!!"

  • Frasier episodes on YT ! Awesome !!!!

  • Roz is so incredibly beautiful in this episode. Wow!

  • Frasier is the greatest sitcom of all time.

  • does anybody here listen to rap well underground rap u know not a bunch of chourus but actual lyrics lol look up sikwidit productionz

  • 4:56-5:16 did any body understand any thing!!XD

  • does anyone else think that he is really their father and just using gay as an excuse? also icabod could be a real name..

  • @kittyadrie the guy who played Leland is gay in real life, but maybe. And who names their kid Icabod?

  • @vodkagal28 wrote "who names their kid Icabod?"

    ---

The same family that would name their sons Niles and Frasier. :)

  • Martin is great, but lets not forget about Eddie (Moose/Enzo). :D

  • martin is my favorite character

  • Is it just me, or does Frasier say his own name when opening the door for Leland?

  • @ericxuuuuu1 He does! Well heard!

  • @ericxuuuuu1 He says, "I'm Frasier".

  • "I assume you don't go by Niles anymore???" HAHAHAHAHA

  • Eddie is so cute when he's sitting between Frasier and Leeland and keeps turning his head from one to the other

    :-)

  • "My boys" "On a tree by a river a little tom-tit

    Sang "Willow, titwillow, titwillow"

And I said to him, "Dicky-bird, why do you sit

Singing 'Willow, titwillow, titwillow'" *throws cane* lmao

  • Ha lol Icabod Crane lol :)

  • @HRG178

    Well that's ruined that punchline.

  • REPLICATORS ARE ON EARTH, THATS OBEROTH FROM SGA! :D

  • love them singing haha

  • @scallop On the night of June 28, 1978, Crane is alleged to have called Carpenter to tell him that their friendship was over. The following day, Crane was discovered bludgeoned to death with a weapon that was never found (but was believed to be a camera tripod) at the Winfield Place Apartments in Scottsdale Arizona. Robert Graysmith's book The Murder of Bob Crane states that investigators found semen on Crane's dead body, indicating that the murderer may have ejaculated on him after killing him.

  • @pizzajizz123 Im not sure if this comment was meant for me because it said to ‘@scallop’ instead of ‘@scallopshell98’. But thanks for saying that. It cleared things up

  • @pizzajizz123 wrote "investigators found semen on Crane's dead body, indicating that the murderer may have ejaculated on him after killing him"

    ---

I wonder how they ruled out the possibility that it was Crane's own semen since DNA testing did not yet exist. He was a well-known porn and sex addict, and could have been murdered during sex -- perhaps by a female partner who felt threatened by pornographic videos of their encounters..

  • I dont get the Bob Crane joke. Why would Niles not like it?

  • @Scallopshell98 It's lower social class and pretentious. He's trying to get the application filled for that snooty school. In a way Niles is also snooty, so when he sees the name 'Bob' he figures if he doesn't like it neither will the school.

  • @VyTeg Bob is a nickname for Robert which, imo, I dont think is lower class. But another poster said that appartnly a Bob Crane from 1978 was murdered and other nasty stuff happned to him

  • @Scallopshell98 I read that too. As true as that could be, I believe that my analysis is more likely. Bob could be used as a nickname for Robert, but Robert was not suggested as the name.

  • @VyTeg I think we are gonna have to agree to disagree on the name Bob. But do you know why Niles and Daphne's baby ended up being named David? (Kinda sad)

  • @Scallopshell98 Yeah, I think we both have different views. But no, I don't think I saw that Frasier episode.

  • @VyTeg Niles and Daphne baby ends up being named David after David Angle. David Angle was one of the co-creators and exective producers of Frasier that was killed on 9/11

  • @Scallopshell98 Of what year?

  • @VyTeg Of what year? What do you mean?

  • @Scallopshell98 Of what year did David Angle die? You said September 11 right? 2002? 2003? 2004?

  • @VyTeg 2001... 9/11 refers to the terrorist attacks on the world trade centers and the pentagon. It was kind of a big deal in America. But seriously though, you can wikipedia all this stuff

  • @nirvanafly I actually knew what you were talking about. It's just my twisted sense of humor I got whenever I hear someone mention September 11, I automatically think 'What year could they be possibly talking about?' In case you haven't checked my youtube, I am from America. But as I said...that's my mindstate. I actually could have looked up all of that information about David Angell, but I forgot about google and stuff until earlier on imdb.

  • @VyTeg Okay, thanks for clarifying... Up until now I just thought you were retarded

  • @nirvanafly Such nice and happy thoughts we have. But thanks for not over reacting to the whole thing though as most people would.

  • @VyTeg I can see your point, but the real reason is that Bob Crane was an actor on MASH, who was murdered in a hotel/motel room in 1978. It was discovered either in that room, or at his house that he had lots of 'blue' movies, many of which were pretty kinky and equipment for making such films.

I don't believe the case was ever solved.

  • @thefungarian I did not know that. The reason I came up to my conclusion is because of the way Niles said 'Bob'.

  • @thefungarian Thank you explaining that gag. For the longest time I've been thinking it was some kind of pun I don't get. Just looked up Bob Crane and I can see why Niles and Daphne decided against the name!

  • @thefungarian It wasn't MASH, he was on Hogan's Heroes.

  • @janeybundybird

    It's definitely Winchester from MASH.

  • @RaisuliLordoftheRiff They were talking about Bob Crane.

  • I have no idea how they trained Eddy, but I want him as my dog D:

  • David Odgen Stiers...one of our most underrated actors, he has so much talent. Someone write him a main character script!

  • The parts just before and during the elevator scene always make me teary eyed.

  • Romanian? Brassaï was Hungarian/Armenian.

  • @dimitry246 Brassai was born in 1899, in Transylvania, Romania, which was a part of the Kingdom of Hungary until the Treaty of Trianon in 1920.

  • You know I couldn't help but notice how particularly pretty Roz looks from the side at 8:13 and how she said 'nothing'

  • I had a seriously big fight with my ex-boyfriend last night; a thousand tears must've been shed and we're no longer on speaking terms. But the second I put Frasier on, I cheered up in an instant. In fact, I laughed so much that I wet my pyjama bottoms XD Martin is hilarious when he takes a swig from the mug and he's like, "What the hell is this?!" XDDD

  • stupid fish! XD

  • Fathers and Sons- Turgenev and his nihilistic Bazarov. ( His best novel.)

  • Martin overcompensating at the end makes me cringe and smile at the same time

  • Another wonderful show. Was Roz screwing with Daphne and Niles on that baby name selection ? :)

  • FAVE FRASIER EPISODE!!

  • Talking with u young ppl makes me feel like an ID again.

LMAO PLEASE tell me I wasn't the only one who caught that!! It was so good!!

  • @QBFOJustin:

Also, it's "Jung" not "young." That's the other pun.

  • @SavoyTruffle78 Oh wow. Nice catch! Thanks! I love their intellectual humor! it's really good! Amazing this kind of humor made mainstream comedy!

  • @QBFOJustin:

    Yeah, this show is amazing.

  • @QBFOJustin No ... i got the "ID" joke too (only cos i studied Psychology - otherwise i wouldnt have got it lol)!

  • @LoriFromLondon LOL me too I learned about it in Psych 101. If you graduate college, get a degree, learn a lot of things in life, and then watch Frasier all over again, I'll bet the show will be even funnier!!! lol

  • @QBFOJustin It totall is!!! Oh, my degree makes sense now!

  • Eddy is the best actor in the whole episode.

  • Iswear Robert is a good name for Crane, they had Bob?

  • @verbatim945 Yes but Bob Crane was an old tv star famously involved in some kind of sex/murder scandal.

  • david ogden sires!!!!

  • I think Niles should have just hired her as his maid and had a child out of wedlock, she is so bossy and naggin' all the time, annoying cheap british accent is annoying !!!

  • Martin drinking the coffee that was on the table when he sat down will always be one of my favorite Frasier moments.

  • at 12:20 the lighting rig is visible in the upper right corner xD

  • "As in your brother with the substance abuse problem, Simon"?

    lol!

  • This is sooooo clear.

  • Tit Willow, Tit Willow, Tit Willow

Thats so funny, I love that part.

  • ...scary hippopotamus" HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

    What does martin say exatctly?

  • @buzzzatho with many awful facts about the scary hippopotamus

  • Sadly, once they got Niles and Daph together... it was not that brilliantly done at all. I mean it was so and so... but maybe because the first sesasons were great and when compared to those, the last few seasons were "stinkers"...

  • One of the best, if not THE best, Frasier episode ever.

  • "now I'll have something to think about when I'm rubbing your dad's bum"

  • wait a minute, this episode is set in 2003 and then the last scene is set 5 years later so it was set in 2008 so chronologically speaking, the last scene of this episode is the last scene of frasier

  • I would be SO pissed at Roz!

  • Who do we have next? Last name, Crane First Name...Icabod Admission Denied! Pure Gold!!!

  • @ 20:23 NOT!!!! :D

  • god i'd love to eat roz's pussy lol

  • When Eddie looks at both of them its hilarious!

  • Roz looks super sexy in camo pants :D

  • how did their mom die??

  • @jolleyrancher28

If I recall it's never actually explained but in the Momma Mia episode it's implied that it was cancer

  • @jolleyrancher28 Hester died of cancer

  • God--David Ogden Stires did such a good job.

  • "I haven't seen you since you were what..7 years old?, And you still look good in the suit." Oh man this is brilliant.

  • i HOPE he's rife with disease

  • @waxcoatedbanjo

Then don't watch the show, dumbass.

  • leeland still could have boned hester regardless of his orientation. lets face it he still got a dick right.

  • Martin is so cute! "the scary hippopotamus" haha

  • HAHA! A little tom tit!

  • Niles walking like a little child = absolutely brilliant!! Loool

  • Remarkable woman? She cheated on her husband...

  • @manaburn Which proves that she was human.

The best of us tend to make some of the biggest mistakes.

  • @MegaFullbuster I don't consider anyone who makes big mistakes to be the best of anything, and certainly not the best of our species.

  • @manaburn Albert Einstein was a great person but he made huge mistakes when it came to his marriage. All I am saying is that it is not right to judge a person based solely on a single choice, decision, or action from their life.

  • @MegaFullbuster No, Albert Einstein was a great scientist and revolutionary thinker, but as a person, he was awful. You can be intelligent, athletic, good looking, or any other positive quality and still be a subpar person. Sure, people make mistakes, but that doesn't mean that we instantly forgive them for everything just because they did something good.

  • @manaburn I didn't mean to imply that I thought we should. But we also shouldn't instantly condemn a person for a single bad decision.

  • @manaburn Are you saying that cheating on her husband means that she was just an "ordinary woman"?

  • @Viljarism She may have been intelligent, astute, sagacious, erudite, accomplished, or prestigious, but that doesn't mean that she was remarkable. The only remarks I'd make about her are ones about how she had an affair despite having two children and an obviously loving and devoted husband. Anyone who makes such a mistake isn't remarkable to me.

  • @manaburn you're forgetting the fact that they dealt with that, her cheating i mean, and they had a wonderful life and raised two wonderful sons (in martins own words). so if her husband could forgive her that one slip, and her sons too, that surely means that she must have been remarkable...

  • @trisnjok He forgave her because he loved her. You don't have to be remarkable to be loved or forgiven. I would say that Martin is more remarkable than her because he was able to forgive her and move past it.

  • My favorite episode!

  • David Ogden Stiers! What a great actor! Loved him as Major Winchester on M*A*S*H.

  • scary hippopotamus ! hahaha

  • I love Eddie.

  • "i'm assuming you don't go by Niles anymore." LOL!!!! i think i peed in my pants

  • Subtle expressions is what makes this show brilliant. Like Roz giggling quietly when Martin pauses to think if he is interested in seeing the work of the 'Romanian Master' :P Speaks volumes of the kind of chemistry they both share and also - how much they know each other. Brilliance.

  • "...with many cheerful facts about the scary hippopotamus"

    lmao martin <3

  • I sometimes think Eddie is the smartest out of all of them.

  • Well, I guess ''the square of the hypotenuse'' does sound like ''the scary hippopotamus.'' Hysterical.

  • Petite Elite Feet

    priceless...

  • What makes this episode special is the honesty Martin brings to it. It bugs him so much since his kids are all he has. Brilliant. Just brilliant piece of writing and of course, an immensely memorable portrayal by John.

  • LOL "Now I'll have something to think about this afternoon while I'm rubbing your dad's bum."

  • "Dont get into a staring contest with him. Thats what he wants." LOL I love Eddie

  • Excuse me, but I don't quite understand the last joke of Frasiers, where they play the piano singing 'Tom Tit'. I understand Martin is disappointed, but why? Second of all, all I know about the song is that it's a children song.

  • @Heavily9 the song is from the gilbert and Sullivan Opera, "The Mikado"

  • @tomling9696969 But still I don't understand the joke. Major-general song is also from Gilbert and Sullivan, is that intended in the joke? I feel so silly.

  • @Heavily9 I think it's to do somewhat with people who can't get past the word 'tit', not even appreciating/understanding that it's clearly referring to a bird.

  • @granite65granite don't forget dickie bird:P

  • @Heavily9

Martin is a beer from the can, watching football kind of guy. And he looks at them with pride as a manly father. Then Fraiser and Niles start singing, "The Mikado" from an opera.

The joke is the reaction from a blue-collar father's reaction to his sons singing opera.

  • @Heavily9

Martin is just annoyed that his boys are not the football lovin manly guys. :)

  • "...with many awful facts about the scary hippopotamus!"

I think i just laughed so loud, i woke the whole house up.

  • lol at the cranes on pianos

  • I'm having trouble making out what Frasier calls his brand of sherry. He says it too fast for me to catch on. Anyone know?

  • @granite65granite Andalusian Amontillado

  • I love how Frasier is sitting behind Niles on the piano bench. This HAS to be one of my favorite episode!!!! "Little Tom Tit."lol

  • paused at 4:33 - my prediction: frasier and niles convince themselves this leyland barton guy is their dad since he is so like them and not marty?

  • Funny there's a Bob Crane reference in the same episode with David Ogden Stiers.

  • thnx for posting IN FULL EPISODES, u rock

  • @ Cassie38 Thanks for your help!

  • LOL

    "my boys"

on a tree by a river.. a little tom tit

    lmfao Martins face

  • Taylor.

    Fletcher.

    Cooper.

    Tanner.

...... where are you getting these? The big book of Medevil Professions???

  • "...with many awful facts about the scary hippopotamus!"

hahahahahahaha! Man, I nearly fell off my couch watching that bit! :-D
