Australia has it sweet because we're isolated - Tyranny of distance. Of course, distance isn't a factor when your transporting gold or uranium, just when your transporting medical supplies (etc). Nothing will change until EVERYONE knows WHAT is happening and HOW it's happening.

What could they have expected? Unless indigenous peoples become a powerful political and economical force to be reckoned with, these governments are going to keep on doing what they want no matter how many apologies they offer. All our government does is grant rights then limit funding thus setting up a fail situation so they can come back in and steal the land again.
