Rap didn't start the whole gangster thing, it's a product of that scene. Sure, it has spread it, but i don't see the kids in the suburbs shooting eachother. So really the music has spread but the actions have not. I know plenty of people that listen to rap and live a normal life not affected by it. You seem a little bit paranoid about it.
