  • Awesome video

  • Light and love Bro!!!

  • noway man i want to smome weed. thar is only 1 herb that makes me want it more then weed and that is valerian extract i drink that shit like water. every time i feellike getting high

  • Thanks for posting this im definetly gonna try some after seeing this. Have you tried to grow your own?

  • Excellent video, Keth! You're the reason I started on Reishi. I'm using LifeShield Resihi from New Chapter Organics. It's supposed to be a reputable brand.

So you take between 5 caps twice a day, right up to 6 caps three times a day. I assume you're maximizing the noticeable effects by doing this. How much in milligrams is your dose (per cap)?

    Mine is (per cap):

    Organic Reishi: 400mg

Organic Reishi Fruting Bodies and Sores: 100mg

    Peace.

  • Hey Keith. I always wonder what it is about me that I have been the one that has introduced reishi to our social strata, via my 8 year intensive apprentiship with Ron Teeguarden. I then taught Truth and downloaded to David Wolfe most of what he's talking about these days- and capitalizing off of... And I am consistently erased from the discussion. I know reishi like no one else, and have the highest quality extract available. All I wish is to be acknowledged.

  • @shamanshack

Hey Dean: this video is over two years old, before i ever met you or saw you in person or even had a clue of all the roots of things as I do know... as i do very well! Highest respect to you especially after my hanging out in your herbal parlor a year ago--

you are coming to my local raw meet up this next saturday--

I dont enjoy them but iam hoping to go to see you in person--

cost of gas keeps me from my old ways of frequent trips to L.A.

    - some thing I would love to talk on-

  • @tiatdivad

    yes ,

    its all good,

but spore, fruiting body, mycelium all have different charactaristics,

as well as different kinds of reishi have different charactars,

and this is really a very new fronteir,

and different people have different opinions--

and I think thats because reishi has such an intelligence , and it focuses in different people in different ways..

one thing is surely unified and I think that is that all who do it: literally view their life pre and post reishi

  • @liverawkstar

Pre-reishi vs. Post-reishi. That is measuring your life from a watershed moment. Are you telling me the post-reishi effects were *that* significant? That's quite impressive. I assume this also depends on dosage and/or how you "saturate" your system with reishi on a regular basis. Example: taking 1 or 2 a day might help ward off colds. Taking 5-10 a day will yield results of a much higher order. You even mentioned to forget about marijuana, because reishi gives you much more.

  • @tiatdivad as little as 5 caps twice a day,

as much as 6 caps three times a day..

I take most (only (Mushroom Sciences Reishi Gano 161)----

I occasionally take Jing Herbs Reishi,

and occasionally different varities from Dragon Herbs

  • I like smoking a couple puffs of marijuana, it helps me sort through gunk and realign myself but if I do it more than once a week then I feel tight and my buttons are easily pushed. Will Reishi allow me to smoke more often without losing balance? Thanks

  • @flex4life Honestly,

    in my opinion,

that is really something that is going to vary from person to person,

since I made this video two years ago I went on and off with Heavy to ZERO pot use till this year 2011,,

now weed does nothing for me productive..

but it used to be one of the greatest tools for me creatively (Im an artist)..

I would say basically YES to your question,

I eventually with my years of herbalism was able to create the same and better results weed gave me..

    I dont do weed now

  • cant really get reishi in england but have found some shou wu (foti) would that be a good alternative/equivalent?

  • @ytcrittical

    no

    definitely not an equivalent..

although they are definitely complimentary to each other...

and if you were only going to take 2 (cheaper) herbs I personally would choose those---

I would purchase Ron teaguarden's Ancient Wisdom of the Chinese Tonic herbs if you want to learn the distictions of all the chinese tonic herbs

do make sure that Ho Shou Wu ( Fo-Ti) is "prepared" , and not just straight Ho Shou Wu...

their totally different for their benefits

  • @liverawkstar no definitely not, hmmm, for a herb thats got a 5 star treasure rating, that comment seems a little strange, fo-ti is talked about in very high regard. loved your vid where you say these herbs knock cannabis out the park :)

  • @ytcrittical you asked me if it was an alternative or equivalent.. no it is definitely not, while YES they are both 5 star by Ron Teaguarden ..and as well by anyone.. but reishi is very SHEN, immune modulating etc and reishi does nourish all 3 treasures.. Ho Shou Wu is total kindey food YIN JING... and He Shou wu also nourishes all 3 treasures-- but the focus is JING, specifically yin... I guess in a sense all tonic herbs support everything, but the direct action is not anywhere the same
  • @liverawkstar so after all that now you say foti supports everything too like the others, with some slight differences, but essentially its one of the best and a great starter for newcomers just like reishi would be. gees man thats what i asked to begin with lol! one problem like i said reishi is disgustingly expensive, not available in its original, unaltered form in england so its not an option except try foti because its the only one available, so its more about what would a close equiv

  • @ytcrittical

Reishi extracts are stronger than anything you can purchase,

especially the green house grown Reishi Gano 161 from Mushroom Sciences which has been engineered to near a strength of wild-- dont know where you live in the UK , but I know most of the UK should be damp enough to harvest it wild... Ho shou Wu is much more physical (JING).. Reishi is mental/spiritual (SHEN)... make sure the Fo Ti is "prepared": black/brown color, not orange yellow. Unprepared is not a tonic...

  • @ytcrittical

100% certified organic ganoderma lucidum , including spore powder, (in it's unaltered form) is now available in England...

Connect with me for more info.... and I think you may be pleased with the price.

    TO your health.

    Cheers

  • Heya Keyth,

Interesting thing I just found out about Reishi Mushroom and I cant get my head around it. As far as I know an antibiotic kills all bacteria good and bad. So I'm in a pickle as to whats going on with Reishi being an antibiotic.

Just found out that Reishi is an antibiotic, a very powerfull one in fact.

And as you have made it clear lately that Probiotics are so so important it's a curve ball Keyth with this new Reishi awareness.

    ...your thoughts?

    Glad to see you posting

  • wow just ordered reishi..hope to beat my coffee addiction soon ;)

  • @elfe1982 DId you know that there is a company with 100% certified organic ganoderma spore powder available in north america for a very reasonable price?

DId you know that company also is deliverying that spore powder via COFFEE?

Did you know that people who typically can't drink coffee because it makes them feel terrible can drink this ganoderma-infused coffee?

People are also noticing that this coffee is easy on their tummies... probably due to the high alkaloid content of ganoderma.

  • @chubberto I know people are combining the two--

to my awareness, and Im not positive, spores cannot be digested unless their cracked ( the spores),

such a product ( cracked reishi spores) is available from Jing Herbs,

maybe others companies as well, but I tend to stick with companies I know, and I know George Lamereux (owner) personally :-)

    namaste

  • @chubberto ill stick to the roots and barks for now thanks

  • I'm excited to try Reishi. I've been reading a book called Adaptogens, and they talk about many different, very special herbs, mushrooms etc. Reishi, ginseng, rhodiola, ashwaganda, cordycepts etc, are all classified as adaptogens, meaning they can help you, your body, mind, and spirit, balance (homeostasis) itself, to bring itself back to normalcy.

  • Reishi rawks .. just got on it a couple of days ago ... feel amazing!!!

  • thanks dude i heard about reishi years ago. im gonna try it. i looove mushrooms!!!

  • @ainsheea well, reishi is not "food" mushrooms, most people take them in caps, I however do take them under the tongue by opening the caps in my mouth, they are quite bitter and almost nasty to a lot of people with out sweetner or something else in the whole "elixir" way of thinking.....

  • I always ran to coffee and then later opiates. Coffee addiction is the hardest thing to break because everybody is doing it, and it is everywhere. I just got into Reishi, and am just starting to feel better......very encouraging video you made about feeling so good on Reishi. Cool.

  • same here coffee and weed. anger problems, over emotional, ptsd etc. im in the same boat bro.

  • well back in the land of the living.... theres something between the synergy of enzymes deer placenta he shou wu carotenall nordic naturals fish oil 3-6-9 the vit c "liposheric" also is a great confidence shift in the morning I've gone as high as four a day for a month, very nice boost of clarity zeolites first thing followed by medicinal doses of high quality probiotics - 5 caps of CP1 then the vit c i live in the home of deer antler and I import rons
  • @jambinz

i just sent you a decently-long-ish message about some your updates and recollections; we should definitely talk at length more---

Last week Truth Calkins showed up at my house with Jay as well,

we got some water from my spring: kthey took like 10 bottles--

then we went on a 12 mile hike that Truth called the "Druid Jing Master" hike.

We got back to my truck at midnight .

Truth is absolutely more amazing than anyone I have EVER met..

2nd time ive spent a day with him

    WOW

  • you make some great videos super informative. I just got my hands on some reishi ganoderma and zeolite. I take them for ankylosis spondilitis. I'm hoping my nerves and muscles which are affected can heal through raw food and my other holistic remedies. Hugs to you

  • how many capsules should i take daily?

  • @dudemandingo11

as many as you can afford....

currently Iam taking reishi in 7 lforms

  • one more thing, Zeolites. Ok so negative particles get trapped in the cages and taken out of the body, the positives are left alone. So if I take my Zeolite right before I take my Reishi can I be sure that none of the Reishi is going to get trapped in these cages?

I'm aware that you have taken Zeolite before Keyth so I am hoping that you can shed some light on this for me. I wanna get those heavy metals the HELL OUT!! but I dont want to interrupt the magic of the Reishi.

    my head hurts:-)

  • .......creativity buzz. I like the creative space that pot facilitates and am wondering what I need to do to get there or there-a-bouts with these herbs if thats possible.

You hinted at an insight (Male Sexuality blog) to do with bringing some yang jing herbs into the picture. Jing building is a new art for me so I'm making sure I get plenty of Yin Jing but also I'm adding Dragon Jing and Super Yang drops to see if anything sparks.

Pot, a primo tool if used sparingly though I still feel.

  • correct.....in New Zealand, home of the Deer Antler!!

I live in Christchurch which is a city, small (500,00) in comparison to LA but still a city none the less. But very fortunate to live away from the chaos which disturbs a large portion of the planet, wars and famine ect.

I'm a bit like you in a way Keyth, or the way you were with a blown out Jing. Been living on a slippery slope and you and some others are opening my eyes to a better way to be.

    I'm interested in the whole.....2BC

  • congrats bro, 2000 hits for the medicine of kings!!

  • thanks

    so amazing

youtube is making this practically instantaneous collective consciousness...

you are in New Zealand ?

kinda seems like we are neighbors

    time span zero

    exponential evolution

    hypersychronisity

  • all stoners should get into nobel tree mushrooms, blissfull food, more energy, more mojo, better breathing, why not?

  • Anger resides in the liver, according to Chinese medicine. Caffeine and herb both tax the liver intensely. When your liver is maxed out due to emotional abuse of those two things, people find their anger challenging. Reishi probably clears the liver to some degree and definitely resets your attraction to toxins back to healthy place. That's what happened to me. Great video, thanks for sharing your discovery!

  • damn i gotta try them mushrooms. but i will still smoke weed, dah lol

  • The scientific evidence concerning Reishi is just now being discovered by the Scientific community. Google Reish and Green tea. For the science behind Raw Foods , google raw food diets living food review. its on the living-food web site. The science facts of the dangers of fried and broiled foods are well documented. I think the meat industry and the raw foodest both tend to over exaggerate their claims. We need to live in harmony with our world rather than try to control it so much.

  • wow, you make it sound like "running to cooked food" is something to be damned for. C'mon, you seem like a pretty open person, there are fundamental, important reasons to cook SOME foods. And i'm not talking about meat. Some vegetables are not bio-active, unless cooked, or for instance, some beans, are much easier to assimilate once cooked. It's simple reasoning. Now, burnt beans, such as that used to make coffee, is on another harm scale altogether..I do run to that too.. ;) peace MY-CO-LOGIC!

  • i dont eat foods that need to be cooked....

    dont eat beans.... period...

very much following the protocol of dr David Jubb on that---

bean protein breaks down in the digestive tract ,, but then does little else after....

then on a coloidal level in the blood it just lingers and basically rots...

Jubb calls this a runaway protein....

we are not designed to eat beans...

but that is true of most "cultivated" foods...

Wheat and al it's relations being in that category as well

  • I personally believe in eating many foods raw. I just don't see the facts supporting much of rhetoric I'm hearing regarding what Jubb states. You can listen to someone like Gary Null support Raw foods, but he backs up his information and statements with source material of studies. Null also states it's absurd to eat a fully raw diet, due to the message I was trying to get across. I'm into hearing more about Jubbs studies, do you have any detailed study reports and refs? I would love to read more

  • References ? whose your source.... where do you want this info to come from.... Jubb is a reference,,, Im taking about the cutting edge.... where I look at resuts someone is getting and ,I listen. dr david jubb is an eite group of people who have looked at blood in some of the most extreme microscopes on the planet. I dont do references.... I listen to people who are getting results I want: David Wollfe Truth Calkins Dr David jJubb etc
  • thanks for this video

  • I have my very first reishi on order along with some other bulk herbs. I cant wait to get them and start brewing!!!

  • I eat wild reishi :) hee hee

  • Thanks Dude - Appreciate it

  • i love reishi too. I make tea with goji berries or I put powdered reishi into my blended drinks, I also have a 6 mushroom + camu camu blend supplement called Mushrex from Madre Labs. I totally agree with the calming centred effect of reishi.

  • Go to a Chinese /Asian Herb store or "pharmacy" and buy a whole dried Reishi Mushroom for $2-$5. I found a perfect specimin today and the herbalist sliced it up for me and I am drinking it now. Got the motivation from Truths part in Davids Longevity Now "Bonus"

  • I wish I could have bought the Longevity Now package first run...

unfortunately i didnt have the money

    :-(

  • I am growing both reishi and ho-shu-wu

I drank some reishi tea today and I DO think there is something to it.

I'm glad to find a video that isn't an info-mercial.

  • My Gawd, if we're in a brand war here :-) then I tout New Chapter, as they're about the only vitamin co. that uses fermentation to make its vitamins, so they're food sourced. Then they also have a line of medicinal mushrooms. Then there's Paul Stamet's book, "Growing Gourmet & Medicinal Mushrooms to take it further & grow them yourself, taking them in doses beyond the two capsule prescription in a way that's potentially affordable. A tall order I know, but imaginable, plausible, so then doable

  • Can you tell me how many capsules of mushroom science's reishi you take per day?

  • reishi is my favorite herb - ever of all time.

  • I just got my reishi and ho-shu-wu! Thank you so much for recommending it. :)

I loved this video. Very well presented.
