I don't care about whether or not the crying is genuine. Beck is smart enough to point out just how wrong things are in our society and government. If you doubt me, ask yourselves "What did Obama accomplish so far and how does it benefit me?"

Every worker and area of the country needs to evolve and move to the technologies of the future or the problem you are in will be there for a very long time. @cozyfoxstudio The company I work for is the single largest manufacture of solar panels in the world. We dont get government money. We are a publicly traded company and produce enough solar panels every year to generate 1gw of electricity. thats as much power as a nuclear power plant does in a year. We are US based and have plants all over the world. Government money plays no part for us.

But i can say that Germany is the largest market and takes in much more solar energy then any other place. Put it will soon be cought up to by the US and other nations. Chine has many of the world solar companys but that dont produce on a scale as we do. I know the average cost to take a home off the grid was about 15k, minus tax credit you get for doing it.

@cozyfoxstudio I beleive the only people installing our pannels on homes in a company called solar city, First Solar focuses on large industrial solar feild that produce and feed like a normal power plant would. It is the most cost effeicant way to convert. Cali is a huge intaker of our modules and is home to several of the world largest solar feilds all comprised of First Solar modules.,

They offer $10-12 an hour for feild workers, advertise and look to provide help to local and they turn it away so they are forced to bring in migrant workers and get government approval to do so.

@cozyfoxstudio Perhaps your biggest issue is your location. maybe you should consider moving to an area that people with your skills are more needed then in LA. Like the gulf region or the east coast, places that have a high rate of structure failure do to storms that would put a construction worker to work for $20 and hour or more, pluse the cost of living is far less. Heck even the great lakes region were i am has more jobs along those lines.

The whole Tea Party movement is a result of not only big spending dems but republicans also. If Boehner does not get his act together, he will be out in 2012. BTW, did you know that according to IRS data, the top 50% of earners pay 97% of the taxes? That means that the bottom 50% pays only 3%. Look it up on the IRS website.
@spyguys, you make the same mistake as everyone else, buying into the lie that the wealthy pay more than their fair share of taxes...which they don't. You have to look at the TAX RATE and not total taxes. Example: If I made 10k a year at a tax rate of 20% my total taxes would be 2k. If you made 100k a year with a much lower tax rate of only 10% you'd be paying 10k in taxes. Now you'd complain about paying 5x more in taxes than me...even though in reality your tax rate is only half of mine.

Well sorry to insult, I only mean that the shift in high paying jobs has shifted alot into energy and technology from the past when it was construction and auto. I only mean that if the skill you currantly have cant get you a good job its time to add skills. I was a welder by trade. Those skills became all but completely worthless so I went to school changed feilds and now work in solar power. You also blame Obama for programs that have been in effect for decades, he has only been for two years

They milk welfare, unemployment and section 8 housing. While spending their money on entertainment, designer clothes, nice cars, sex, drugs and rock and roll. The difference is I go to work and make less then they do for doing nothing.

Every worker and area of the country needs to evolve and move to the technologies of the future or the problem you are in will be there for a very long time. Clinging to the technology and mind set of the past will only worsen things. You could prob even get that new degree to little or no cost to you because of those programs.

We are a publicly traded company and produce enough solar panels every year to generate 1gw of electricity. thats as much power as a nuclear power plant does in a year. We are US based and have plants all over the world. Government money plays no part for us.

When you can run your car, trucks, heat, lights and everything else cheaper. Everyone will drop oil for solar faster then they dropped wood for oil. I'll be the 1st in line. Taxing oil hurts us all. I thought China is the biggest producer of solar panels in the world and their thrist for oil is ever growing.

But i can say that Germany is the largest market and takes in much more solar energy then any other place. Put it will soon be cought up to by the US and other nations. Chine has many of the world solar companys but that dont produce on a scale as we do. I know the average cost to take a home off the grid was about 15k, minus tax credit you get for doing it.

@cozyfoxstudio I beleive the only people installing our pannels on homes in a company called solar city, First Solar focuses on large industrial solar feild that produce and feed like a normal power plant would. It is the most cost effeicant way to convert. Cali is a huge intaker of our modules and is home to several of the world largest solar feilds all comprised of First Solar modules.,

They offer $10-12 an hour for feild workers, advertise and look to provide help to local and they turn it away so they are forced to bring in migrant workers and get government approval to do so.

Like the gulf region or the east coast, places that have a high rate of structure failure do to storms that would put a construction worker to work for $20 and hour or more, pluse the cost of living is far less. @spyguys No, actually I have never seen a whole show of his on TV. I did, however, used to listen to him for quite some time when he was on the radio here in D.C. There is no one with whom I agree or disagree 100% and Glenn Beck is no exception. I came to the conclusion, however, that he came across as particularly insincere. This video does nothing to prove me wrong.

The whole Tea Party movement is a result of not only big spending dems but republicans also. If Boehner does not get his act together, he will be out in 2012. BTW, did you know that according to IRS data, the top 50% of earners pay 97% of the taxes? That means that the bottom 50% pays only 3%. Look it up on the IRS website.

@spyguys, you make the same mistake as everyone else, buying into the lie that the wealthy pay more than their fair share of taxes...which they don't. You have to look at the TAX RATE and not total taxes. Example: If I made 10k a year at a tax rate of 20% my total taxes would be 2k. If you made 100k a year with a much lower tax rate of only 10% you'd be paying 10k in taxes. Now you'd complain about paying 5x more in taxes than me...even though in reality your tax rate is only half of mine.

Though it is true that "in theory" and according to the tax code, you do pay more on earned income, you fail to consider that the largest portion of wealthy people's income is in the form of Capital Gains from investments...which are only taxed at 15%. Warren Buffet is the first to admit that his secretary earning 50k a year pays a higher tax rate than he does.

Long term capital gains are taxed at that rate because they are used for reinvestment purposes. Short term gains are taxed at the person’s normal rate. Long term gains are taxed at a lower rate as an incentive to reinvest. Why would we want to punish a business for succeeding by raising taxes on them? The rate of 15% will rise to 20% in 2013.
