I think we all felt the same about that movie he mentioned. That ending It's a bitter shot, and it definitely sends a message. That's a fact, there's a whole tradition in communications studies that supports this. And it's good that someone on the media actually said it. I enjoyed this video (and all the others HablaYA vids too) Greetings from Argentina!
Funny!! I loved Esai's perspective! I'm kind of an "incognito" hispanic. Half P.R., half white. With my hair straightened, most people just think I'm white. Recently, I received an excellent compliment. I went to hear a salsa band in my California (Mexican) community. A woman got up to dance & I thought, Oh, my Lord, she looks Puerto Rican! What I DIDN'T know was my friend had said to her, "There's another Puerto Rican woman here." She replied, "Yeah, I know! The one in the green top." ME!
@amsr1969 Actually, he said, "Why it hadda be us!?" Yeah, it helps that I'm also NY Puerto Rican, born in Brooklyn, raised in Manhatten! I'm totally used to that accent! Hey, check out the other Habla Ya! videos.
