@bastian38 Well either they still do or they now dont because i remember reading a report that they were changing somthing or bringing in some tech so that the harrier's could identify who was bad and who was good better because a female harrier pilot (not being sexist) all most did a Blue on Blue (friendly fire). Id say they did in the early years in Afghanistan because they didn't have enough air bases and having a small air craft carrier or a LHD is easier to keep near by and is cheaper. :)
