  • love that train horn, Long, Long,Short, Long. Morse code for the letter "Q" Means "I am the Queen and i am comming through"

  • I rode it w/ my sister 13 years ago. The train broke down after we passed the edge of the cliffs. We had to get off the train and wait most of the day for repairs. We were in a beautiful setting w/ picnic tables near a river; ate our sack lunches. It was lovely. We got back on the train and had to return to Durango...never made it to Silverton...didn't matter....got our $ back. Wow!
