  • I didn't know Curlies were being used for this work. In the US labs and goldens dominate this area. Occasionally flat-coats are used.

  • CURLY PRIDE WORLD WIDE

  • I love Your video and the way you treat your dogs - black Mogli, my second Curly, is sleeping on my sofa...6 years old and I would not trade him for the world - my first Curly from Finland was a good humoured brown one with eyes like Silas and lived more than 13 years -once you learn to know this breed, you can´t live without...

  • I waited 5 years for a Curly, and have been a proud owner of one for just over a week. They are such an interesting and fun breed

  • What happened to him? Im still trying to find a dog

    :( sigh...

  • We were unable to adopt him ourselves because he was not suited to a town life. He was adopted by a very nice couple and now lives in the country. He has acres and acres of feilds and woods to run in every day with his new doggy sisters and horses too. I have been to visit him at his new home and met his family. He is very happy and totally adored. It broke our hearts when we could not keep him but we had to to what was best for Si, so we did.

  • Good decision. Lol i went to a dog show to a see a curly coat. I wished i could see one on the way home. And boom! There it was. My wish came true... Lucky me :)

  • So, where is he now? Who DID get him in the end?

We have a naughty brown curly too, and we understand completely!

  • Absoutely gorgeous. What a beautiful dog, and such a fitting soundtrack. All of us who love dogs have to be grateful for the days we have with our wonderful companions.

  • guide dog puppy on the sofa?! LOL looked like he had a good time though. if i didn't already work for the guide dogs i'd puppywalk - so rewarding!

  • LOL Yes, on the sofa and just about every where else he wanted to be. This puppy was a disaster as a guide dog from the day he was 6 months old. There was never really any question of him actually working, he turned more in to a chance to gain experience of a curly and every problem they were ever likely to develop for myself and his trainer. He lasted just 6 weeks in training before being rejected for 9 different types of distraction amongst other things! LOL
