This music is easily the most emotionally captivating of all the elder scrolls games, that paired with the rain fall sound effects would mesmerise me. Oblivion was too polished for me, Skyrim is a bit more rugged, prefer it to Oblivion but Morrowind is just horribly epic, Levitation Spell, Boots of blinding Speed and various other quirks made it just insanely unique amongst RPG's, will never sell my GOTY version!
People who want a real ONLINE ROLE PLAYING GAMES, where you actually play the ROLE of you're character. Google Graal Online, and try the Valikorlia server. It is dice and text based, off a character sheet. But you actually have to take part in events and be granted powers, abilities have you're character approved by a Role Play admin. Anyone who really want's to roleplay they're character to act like they really are in a fantasy world, please come try it! Graal Online, Valikorlia server.

Every1 are judging the graphigs here i played this game for 3 years and i still love it. Skyrim is for little children who cant read quests in there and just need a marker on the map everytimes, so they will be able to find an exit from their house.
and even with option to disable marker, you can't do quests, cause NPC didn't gave you a clues how to get to the place of your quest. Games are no longer for wise people, sad, really sad. (sorry for my English, not native speaker ;) )

You can wear 2rings, 2gloves, 2bracers,2pauldrons, a shirt, pants, cuirass, 2grieves, 2boots and a hat all at the same time. and enchant them all seperately! You gotta play it for its unique feel. It is the only elder scrolls that has that truly alien feel like in another realm. Check out the Morrowind graphics overhaul project. this game is sweet xD

The cities are too small; Imperial City > Solitude - Fighting Dragons turns into a joke when the Dragon starts attacking rams, wolves, ect that are 100 feet away - The guild quests are garbage, what a disappointment - You can't talk while on horseback - Horses attack enemies at will - The quests suck - The game is too easy - And more.

I'm sorry but I think you're trolling. Maybe the story, maybe the gameplay is worse in Oblivion. That fact I cannot deny, since I never played the game long enough to really get into it. However the character models in Oblivion are far better than Morrowind's because to me, every single villager looked like a walking wooden dummy ( Don't even remind me of the terrible walking animations ) and when someone has no pants ( or when you loot them) you can see their 3 meter long legs...
@IceFried And please don't mention architecture since you CAN'T just compare the Imperial City in Oblivion to any settlement in Morrowind. Also since I got back to Oblivion again yesterday, I was able to see and explore a really beautiful environment I think the cave was called sideways cave? And really it wasn't anything special, but I loved the throne room and the hidden lake. Those two parts were simply amazing.

I told you. I can't approve or deny any facts about the gameplay since I never really got into the game. What you are saying really does sound quite interesting. But graphics wise Oblivion is light years ahead of Morrowind.

@Th4w Well i still do think morrowind has better graphics, Oblivion has more advanced graphics, sure, but it didn't really use the engine to it's full potential. Fallout 3 did and therefore was a much prettier game to look at, and so did Morrowind. Oblivion looked like it was a test game from how little they used the engine, they improved a lot in in Shivering Isles. But that's even worse, just shows how little they knew aboutl the engine when development started.
Anyway i still prefer Morrowind character models, inferior they may be, but they're still a hell of a lot better to look at than the gleeful retards of oblivion. Oblivion character models are scary even, they look like possessed mannequins. Go to the yellow team champion when you have "Warrior" rank in the arena, when you talk to her, the animation is so out of character it's almost game breaking.
@IceFried Honestly I think you hard core gamer types get too hung up on the fleeting minutia of some of the glitches and bugs. Who gives a shit what the yellow team champion's animation is? The game is entertaining as hell. I have been playing Oblivion for years...played it over and over and love the hell out of it. Ironically, I just ordered Morrowind and I am going to give that a go. I am sure there will be some obnoxious things about it that stick or glitch or stand out but its a game man!

Also the voice acting gets on your nerves when you hear the same bloke talk for the umpteenth time and the character models look like possessed marionettes, the story is barely mediocre, the AI is as stupid as it can get without them forgetting how to breathe. Oh and don't the beggars just add to the immersion with their schizophrenic voices? The dungeons are all the same and you get fuck all else aside from the primary guilds.

It's like a beautiful sculpture broken into a thousand pieces. You can still see how good the statue looked but no matter how you look at it now it's just a pile of rocks. Pretty, well carved out rocks, but at the end of the day you'll be using it to throw at annoying cats and maybe a paperweight.
@IceFried Oblivion was a disappointment. 6 voice actors, idiotic story, too much emphasis on combat, and the terribly cliche look of the land. Cyrodiil was a fucking jungle with the Imperial City as a Roman style city, not a Medieval one. The characters have TERRIBLE mouth movements when it comes to shouts.
@Zynlen101 yeah my thoughts exactly, i don't think oblivion isn't fun though, not by a long shot. One of my favorite rpgs in fact, but it's barely mentionable next Morrowind.
Oblivion would probably take a number 7 spot on my lists though.. I really hope skyrim doesn't disappoint me.
@IceFried I like to play Oblivion too when I am bored. According to Beth, Skyrim won't have the same level-scaling, plus there are 70 voice actors now.
@Zynlen101 Why even have level scaling? I remember back in Morrowind when i went to Solstheim at level 4 and getting destroyed by draugr, then coming back at level 30 or something and wiping them out like mudcrabs, awesome feeling. Oh and i hope to God Npcs don't have leveled armor, seeing everyone with high-end gear was extremely annoying...
Not to mention the armor lost any semblance of worth... what a dumb design
I used to love downloading all the beautiful player made houses, two of my favorites were a Giant Pyramid in the Sky you could use to travel around the map and another was this cave south of Balmora that had a waterfall inside with a lake and a wooden platform for all the "rooms" God why did they take away placing candles in Oblivion?!!

Morrowind had better graphics to me simply because everything looked better, the graphical effects are inferior, yes, but the architecture and design of morrowind are far better than that of oblivion.
And the character models in oblivion were ugly to look at, they all look like they're made of plastic.
Not to mention how monotonous the environment was, simply an ugly game, good though.

I'm sorry but I think you're trolling. Maybe the story, maybe the gameplay is worse in Oblivion. That fact I cannot deny, since I never played the game long enough to really get into it. However the character models in Oblivion are far better than Morrowind's because to me, every single villager looked like a walking wooden dummy ( Don't even remind me of the terrible walking animations ) and when someone has no pants ( or when you loot them) you can see their 3 meter long legs...

@IceFried And please don't mention architecture since you CAN'T just compare the Imperial City in Oblivion to any settlement in Morrowind. Also since I got back to Oblivion again yesterday, I was able to see and explore a really beautiful environment I think the cave was called sideways cave? And really it wasn't anything special, but I loved the throne room and the hidden lake. Those two parts were simply amazing.
And I just started playing. I will never in a lifetime be able to agree with you

@Th4w oh you just started playing? Well hate to burst your bubble but every single dungeon is the same. Everything is a copy of a copy of a copy. Also you know how in morrowind you have a muddy part and a part covered in ash and lava and a part part full of flora. yeah oblivion has the exact same environment across the whole map.
Also vivec is a 1000x more awesome than the retarded segmented imperial city,so yeah same here, i will never in a lifetime be able to agree with you either.

Also 90% of the settlements are different from each other and there are a lot of them.

I told you. I can't approve or deny any facts about the gameplay since I never really got into the game. What you are saying really does sound quite interesting. But graphics wise Oblivion is light years ahead of Morrowind.

@Th4w Well i still do think morrowind has better graphics, Oblivion has more advanced graphics, sure, but it didn't really use the engine to it's full potential. Fallout 3 did and therefore was a much prettier game to look at, and so did Morrowind. Oblivion looked like it was a test game from how little they used the engine, they improved a lot in in Shivering Isles. But that's even worse, just shows how little they knew aboutl the engine when development started.

Anyway i still prefer Morrowind character models, inferior they may be, but they're still a hell of a lot better to look at than the gleeful retards of oblivion. Oblivion character models are scary even, they look like possessed mannequins. Go to the yellow team champion when you have "Warrior" rank in the arena, when you talk to her, the animation is so out of character it's almost game breaking.

@IceFried Honestly I think you hard core gamer types get too hung up on the fleeting minutia of some of the glitches and bugs. Who gives a shit what the yellow team champion's animation is? The game is entertaining as hell. I have been playing Oblivion for years...played it over and over and love the hell out of it. Ironically, I just ordered Morrowind and I am going to give that a go. I am sure there will be some obnoxious things about it that stick or glitch or stand out but its a game man!

Also the voice acting gets on your nerves when you hear the same bloke talk for the umpteenth time and the character models look like possessed marionettes, the story is barely mediocre, the AI is as stupid as it can get without them forgetting how to breathe. Oh and don't the beggars just add to the immersion with their schizophrenic voices? The dungeons are all the same and you get fuck all else aside from the primary guilds.

It's like a beautiful sculpture broken into a thousand pieces. You can still see how good the statue looked but no matter how you look at it now it's just a pile of rocks. Pretty, well carved out rocks, but at the end of the day you'll be using it to throw at annoying cats and maybe a paperweight.

@IceFried Oblivion was a disappointment. 6 voice actors, idiotic story, too much emphasis on combat, and the terribly cliche look of the land. Cyrodiil was a fucking jungle with the Imperial City as a Roman style city, not a Medieval one. The characters have TERRIBLE mouth movements when it comes to shouts.

@Zynlen101 yeah my thoughts exactly, i don't think oblivion isn't fun though, not by a long shot. One of my favorite rpgs in fact, but it's barely mentionable next Morrowind.
Oblivion would probably take a number 7 spot on my lists though.. I really hope skyrim doesn't disappoint me.

I remember back in Morrowind when i went to Solstheim at level 4 and getting destroyed by draugr, then coming back at level 30 or something and wiping them out like mudcrabs, awesome feeling. Oh and i hope to God Npcs don't have leveled armor, seeing everyone with high-end gear was extremely annoying...
Not to mention the armor lost any semblance of worth... what a dumb design

I used to love downloading all the beautiful player made houses, two of my favorites were a Giant Pyramid in the Sky you could use to travel around the map and another was this cave south of Balmora that had a waterfall inside with a lake and a wooden platform for all the "rooms" God why did they take away placing candles in Oblivion?!!

@littlebud66 Actually, story is the one thing I love about a game. Whether it's comedic or dead serious, as long as it's good and sucks you in I'd love the game.
Even if a game is flashy as hell, if it has bad or no story, for me the starting excitement wears off and I just can't bring myself to play anymore.
