Thank you lad; my fender is a mustang II, basically i think you can reach a lot of sounds, but i must say i come from the acoustic guitar and don't have any idea about amps!! Ok, it seems obvious that this mythical "Monster" sound is some kind of distortion.... echo, very grunge sound.... Yeah, this is all about experimenting :b Thanks and keep on rocking
If you're looking for his usual jangly sound, use almost clean sound, bridge pickup and play with the eq's mid / high frequencies.
For this monster sound, well, I'm kinda off myself, I'd suggest you just experiment with various distortion settings. Also, try different pickup positions, they really make a difference with distortion!
Basically, just experiment until you get the sound you want.
