i played the games and i have the box set that came with the three games and the anolog stick covers.and yes this was disapointing to see a big fan base of my childhood turned into an anime that has realavently nothing to do with the plot of 1 and 2

I love the original 3 Arc The Lad games, Twilight of the Spirits was okay, the anime was good but End Of Darkness was dissapointing

I need a real japanamation fan to answer this one for me please...Im trying to find the name of a japanamation cartoon were there are people hunting folks that suppose to live underground because they are not legal. The main character guy moves in a girl who he found(not chobits I know that one) and he works for his landlord who lives upstairs with her young daughter who who helps her run the biz. The guy is grumpy and upper middle aged.

Doesn't Elc go a little darkside after he strangles the Chimera Mother to death? (trying not to give spoilers here - but the people who saw will know what I mean) How far was that into the series? I only saw it back when it was on SciFi at 6am, and they didn't show it in order ¬¬

Thanks, Kaiser. That moment's always gonna stay with me as one of the darker moments in any anime I've watched. Back to my downloading and converting so this'll work on my PSP... I'd imagine there's a torrent. Personally I thought the Japanese voice acting was pretty weak so hence the English dubs.

I'll second that - caught some of the first episode in Jap a while back - it was not easy on the ears. Some anime are just better with English actors - Trigun, being one of them. Fruits Basket though.... Ugh, I had to have the Japanese audio before I bled to death from my ears.

Yes, it's based on the games, specifically the first two. Although I've never played any of them so I can't say how true to them it is.

Yeah it's more based around the secound game then the first because the main hero is Elk in the game and in this anime as well.Elements of the first game do appear in this anime as well. The Arc The Lad games are a fun line of games to play and I do think if your interested to play them you should because you will have fun with them all.

All though if you want to know more about Arc play the first game.
