@bookworm0485 Jennifer has a very powerful voice so it would be hard to overpower her voice or even to match the strength and rihanna was running late and move quickly to get in place so she must hve been a little out of breath while jennifer was just standing calmly at the right side of the stage.
@Bookworm0485 Rihanna's vocals were a bit softer and sung at a lower octive I suppose. I think Jennifer has a greater range with her vocals. It's only when they come together that Rihanna's voice gets stronger, but because she's "punching it" vocally. Hope that explains it. But yes, when I was there, I couldn't hear Rihanna that great at the beginning.

@itssandracontreras since you were actually there; do you have any idea why Rhianna's vocal's seemed overpowered by Jennifer's at times?
