  • Fault*

  • Nooo I Feel Bad For The Train Driver And The 4 Others. This Was The Drivers Faul.

He Knew Not To Fuck With Oncoming Trains. And Now Those 4 Had To Lose Their Lives

    Because He Was Being Stupid.

  • Comment removed

  • @Polybun your a fucking asshole dude a 14 year old girl died here, she had no control over the situation, she was not driving. I hope you get crippled or killed in some sort of motor vehicle accident.

  • Estos compadres deben haber ido con la caña. De otra manera no se explica que hayan pasado rajados sabiendo que venía el tren.

  • number 1. the train is shit by law they should not let a train out if it takes longer then 10 seconds to stop

infact did the train even try and stop till like 2:38 i seen the car at 2:04

and at 2:17 thats speeding up the train acually trys to stop at 2:34

    number2.

its there own fult for not looking and the laws goverments fult for not having a railcrosing lights and barriers the driver should have been smart enought to no if a train was coming

  • @HOWZZ3 lol at 2:17 that's the brakes heated up . Wailing as they slow the train. Nothing is going to stop a couple hundred tons of metal in 10 seconds.

  • @pdavid24 lol thats why they shouldnt be used loool well use them but used commen sence

  • why not just stop a wait a minute or just have a look instead of driving straight thru like an idiot? now they are killed and the train driver is probaly suffering because of what happened.

    RIP

  • i had to spond to that scen. was a nightmire

  • @boomboom1710 I can believe it My god, a friend of mines is a Amtrak Conductor and he be telling me some horrific stories

  • The title says 5 killed instantly. Nice thought. It should read... Killed all 5 eventually.

  • Sympathy to the passengers, but not the driver.

  • @cshubs What ? It's not the drivers fault.

  • @cshubs Oh i guess you meant the driver of the car...sorry about that :P

  • Thank you for posting this video. It is a simple warning done well. I always stop and I hope my three young drivers will remember to always stop as well. Life can be over in a second. Don't take chances being stupid.

  • i have no sympathy for faggots like that.

  • It really makes me mad when people don't pay attention. As a retired ATSF Engineer I have experienced this 2 times during my career, the first one took a 7 year old boy's life, my Conductor took his own life 2 days later. the 2nd one killed the a family of 5, the conductor quit his job. People please stop for the train, the Crew of the Locomotive has to live with this too. Dynamic braking to stop, but not quick enough.

  • I hope the railroad sues the families of these people to recoup the lost revenue and pay for damages to the track, locomotive and pay the salaries of the track personel needed to make repairs.

  • @Polybun It isn't the family's responsibility. If they sue anyone it will be the insurance company, and I think trains need some sort of energy deflection standards. The front of a train is far to rigid.

  • @59summerset OH fuck that. Anyone dumb enough to get in front of a moving train deserves to die. I say don't just make the train more rigid, give it spikes to impail the dumb sons of bitches and give the train crew a $50 bonus for each moron they kill.

  • hahaha, 5 less idiots in the world. Good, fucuking riddence!

  • Darwin & Murphy.... don't fuck with 'em...

  • They could have just waited like 6 or 7 seconds for the train to pass, but the driver was too impatient to wait 6 seconds and guess what happens...

  • Listen to the sound of those brakes! To be honest, the only people I feel sorry for here is the train driver which has to live with this thought for the rest of his life and the emergency services which have to take care of getting those bodies or whats left of them out of the wreckage. Remember, a 1-2 ton vehicle is not going to stop a 200+ ton locomotive travelling at about 60mph, so don't take the chance.

  • They were in a rush to get one of the girls in the car home... who lived right down the street from the crossing. I think i remember hearing that. I remember the day this happened seeing it all over the news. This happened while i was living in Canton, just a few miles from my house

  • Stupid teen in command of a car. Clearly it can be seen how the car accelerates trying to win the train. But he/she lost the bet and took other 4 souls. No matter how dramatic this could seem, this video should be projected to every kid above age 12 to teach them the consequences and results of a stupid un-measured action. Rest in peace all them

  • Well, I guess we can safely say they caught a train...

  • can u stay suicide by train, while takin people with you!!!!!!!!

  • is the train ok? lol

  • @mixedbag88 Nobody forced you to watch it.

  • 2:04 and they had no idea...... what was going to happen within the next second................

  • This stupid driver has the same level of intelligence as a squirrel that obliviously runs into the path of oncoming cars. Too bad the passengers also had to die for the driver's idiocy.

  • What was the driver thinking when he saw another vehicle stopped at the track!!!! (1.19) (OH it will be ok, haven't been hit yet) It's hard to feel sorry for such a reckless driver, especially when you got 4 other people in your car. Unfortunate for those poor souls.

  • morons fucking with trains

  • So Sad... why did the driver take so long to get out and why did that car just look and pass by?

  • @hotxaurmor Wasn't the driver, was conductor.Would you stick around and watch? not me I would go for help.

  • cold Fusion hahahahahaha

  • @madisonelectronic dumass

  • @madisonelectronic oops i meant incredible dumass

  • when in doubt, the train has the right of way.

  • I lived in NE.. I lived near a girl who had both legs taken off while messing with a train..and have been to a cemetery with whole families buried together with "killed by a train" on their tombstones....I respect train tracks.. people who don't...end up getting killed by them.

  • They were drunk diving thumbs up :D

  • @Skettro No. The driver was apparently sober, but in a hurry to get Jessica home. He had a history of speeding and running red lights, and on this occasion took one risk too many.

  • I have seen worse. I have worked train wrecks, and derailments, and I feel sorry for the people who die, and their families. But if the driver of a vehicle is not smart enough to remember how to drive, as well as how to stay safe around trains; then I'll be there to collect the pieces, and haul what's left to the salvage yard.

  • This is sad, but what the fuck is the deal with the white SUV just driving off like nothing happened. I would not go anywhere and I would call 911 immediately. What a prick.

  • @nsrailfann4life91 some people just can't look at accidents.

  • RIP passengers. Driver your 10 seconds of recklessness and stupidity made you forget just how precious life is. I pray for the victims and hope there is a special place for the driver, maybe driving school in purgatory? But better yet is that your brain ceases to exist and that people will be safer from now on.

  • i feelo sorry for the crew that get off the train and look and 5 ppl are kill i hate to be the one that run a and up kill someone becast they do wanna take time for the train go buy just summer july 11 2011 a downeaster crash in trash truck kill the driver over the trash truck here in maine

  • OUCH,,,, very sad, sad for all involved,,, WTF was the driver thinkin.. I wonder if he was young and immaturity had something to do with it,,, but one can wonder all day,, doesn't change anything,, my prayers go out to the families....

  • Few pennies for thoughts on this whole subject. I echo the sentiments about the passengers in the car. It's bad enough life can (and sometimes will) take one's life in a split second, but to have someone make a choice that effectively ends your life, is so incomprehensible. If one wishes to tempt fate and end up in an early grave, they should do so on their own, not involve others. As far as the driver goes, this would be Darwin's theory of evolution and natural selection at it's finest.

  • It does sound cold, but I agree with others who've expressed the feelings of no remorse for the driver who made a very bad judgement call (impaired or not, which I shall leave to the wayside as I do not know anything on that part of the accident). The arms were down, and the train engineer was performing his job correctly in correctly blowing before the crossing. It was just a sad occurrence, and bad judgment on the part of the car driver. I must also echo that I feel the worse for the Amtrak

  • @satanxhhhx They're probably kids tho.

  • engineer and conductor in this situation. I personally know of someone who was an engineer for one of the largest US companies, who has not been the same since an accident that involved the train he was operating hitting a vehicle with an entire family in it and killing everyone. Sadly, he ended up under psychiatric care for quite a long time after that. People don't think of the consequences of their actions these days, such as the lives it may cost or physical/mental strains on others.

  • And that is how long a train takes to stop, it has immense kinetic energy, don't mess with it.

Also spare a thought for the driver of the train, accidents like this can traumatise a driver for years, some never drive again.

  • Where did the video of the car going around the one stopped at the RR crossing come from?

  • they had put the sheet over the car because of the gore. :/

  • The driver was stupid to cross the tracks when she knew there was a train coming it was her own fault but because of him or her the driver impacted the innocent lives of all the people in that vechicle with him or her

  • @TheTurtleaddict The driver was MALE.

  • @danlefou ok thanks but no need to get pissed over it

  • @TheTurtleaddict I shan't get p....d. I don't drink.

  • *And by idiots I meant people like the driver. Not the passengers

  • Idiots. What is the point in trying to beat it?

This is why I don't ride with certain friends of mine..they seem dumb enough to try this.

One in particular I know of speeds and drives way to recklessly. The first time I road with him, along with 3 other friends. He was going 80+mph on a backroad and passing cars going into oncoming traffic in a no pass zone.

Needless to say...this is the last time I ever road with him

  • Just a note on who's who. The engineer, known in other countries as the driver or train operator, is in control of the locomotives. He had to stay in the cab, monitoring the situation by radio for the dispatcher's or operations department, while the conductor or guard, in charge of the rest of the train and its passengers, had to go and examine the scene outside. Horrific, and very traumatic for both guys. One moment's reckless impatience, so much sadness.

  • the engineer only had to take like 1 look and he knew everybody was dead...sad

  • wow that girl was so beautiful

  • If everyone were rail-fans like me and alot of others and respected trains, there wouldnt BE any accidents.

  • It looked like maybe they didn't realised what happened cause it didn't appear in the video that they slowed down for a mile or two. I hated it for the conductor to have see what was left of the people in the car.

  • @beatleman69 The train stopped in just under half a mile. It was accelerating through 65 mph when it collided with the car, and reached about 69 mph before the brakes came on. It's quite possible that the engineer took a couple of seconds to realise what had happened, or perhaps his hands were jogged off the controls; the cab is knocked visibly sideways by the impact.

  • not the last thing i want to hear before i die

  • This is why people shouldnt fuck with trains. you kill 4 of your friends and yourself. R.i.p accident victims

  • Dan Broughton(driver)...

    BURN IN HELL MORON!!!

  • BAD MOVE

  • No one can stop or tell fate. Some just choose the speed it up for themselves and unfortunatly others. if the driver survived. and the passengers didnt. they should throw him back on the tracks

  • Guy I used to work with was a train conductor. He told me he quit because he got tired of hitting people. It must happen more than we hear about.

  • idiot vs train .... train wins!

  • lol at the pickup at 3:10 he's like: has it stopped? has it stopped? yep ill cross now dooo deee dap dee :D

  • I hope the train engineer was able to resume work without too much post-traumatic stress. Hes the one who will suffer the most out of all this, the others are dead.

Families will move on, but being the INSTIGATOR of the event (even not at fault) this can haunt the engineer for a LIFETIME and cause personality and mood changes.

  • Great driving man

  • they made it........ str8 to there death

  • just 5 out of Billions and Billions of people on this god damn planet...

  • @TheDylanJoyce Yeah, that should have been just you instead of those kids.

  • @jburr36 Good thing i'm smart enough NOT to get in the car with a dumb ass driver such as yourself. huh?

I'd prefer to take the Actual Train! faster, more fuel efficient, and it Doesn't involve Dumb as Teenagers. I'm glad to be Alive!

  • @TheDylanJoyce Why not? You're just 1 out of billions and billions of people on the god damned planet. A cold hearted callous self rightious individual such as yourself probably wouldn't be missed, eh?

  • @jburr36 Fine...i'll die today! but, for now, i'm gonna continue my "happy to be alive" dance. Aren't I just Terrible? I just pointed a true fact. If i were you, i wouldn't drive in front of Trains! Subscribe to my channel okay?

  • Who the fuck was driving? They're a disgrace to the human race. -.- Absolutely pisses me off that everyone died because of some bonehead. The driver deserves to die this way a million times. Poor passengers... :\

  • Probably the worse fuckin police call center i have ever heard!

  • Oh Dear! What bad luck...serves them right.

  • damn!

  • These senseless things just make me want to cry because it so could have been avoided. So sad... God bless them.

  • they pass an suv stopped at the tracks. the driver deserved it, not the passengers.

  • All the fault is on the driver. All of it. You can not defend or excuse such a moronic act of carelessness. I feel worst for the train conductor because he will have to sleep every night knowing that his train killed 5 people, twisted to death in a metal trap of scrap metal.

  • poor train driver and poor passengers.. stupid driver!...........

  • there is no such thing as "instant death"... really. depending on exact cause, suffocation, shock, trauma, etc... it can take from few seconds to minutes. maybe only airplane crash is the closest to instant... but it is not instant even.

  • wow watching this i fought "man i just watched the last seconds of theyr lifes." skipping rails its bad for ya health

  • Signs and rules are there for a reason. Saving those extra few seconds isn't worth the risk.

    RIP

  • Wow.

  • No disrespect but this is what you get when you ignore danger.

  • They were all old enough to have heard stories about train accidents. It sucks they died, but they mad a seriously retarded decision.

  • Jesus, was there even any bodies left to bury?

  • wow, that will ruin your day watchin that. I can't even imagine..how horrible.

  • i remember when this happened....so sad....

  • Thats what you get for being stupid Im sorry.

  • lol at 2:10 the train barely felt anything

  • A fast moving train is very big and the result is an opticol illusion that it is moving at a slower pace than it really is. The result is a train that is upon you befor you know it.

  • Why were the crossing rails not down as the train approached the crossing?

  • @TheJJGrizzly the crossing guards were down you can see it in the video

  • @TheJJGrizzly Pause at 2:06.You can see the shadow of the guard arm.IT IS DOWN.They went around the guard arm. They drove in the left lane.

  • I think you should have done a little more research to find out the names of the other ones killed out of respect. Sean Harris (19), and Terrence Harris (21). The driver was 19-year-old Dan Broughner. I didn't know them personally except for Terrence. he was one of my closest friends in high school, and even after we both graduated. He was a really good kid. RIP Terrence

  • This is a perfect video to show new teenage drivers.

  • Thank you for sharing this. Dreadful reminder of what happens when you don't stop at railroad crossings. The poor engineer and train personnel and EMS workers still have this in their minds.

  • DAMN THATS SAD...BUT AT LEAST THEY DIDNT SUFFER!!

  • Has been amazing...

  • Killtacular !!

  • @Failosaurus71

listen here fuck nuts a 14 year old girl was killed show some respect and stop acting like a damn clown

  • i feel bad for the engineer of the train..there was absolutally nothing he could have done to prevent it ,yet hes probally getting all the heat....this is a bad thing to say but i think we should all learn from there mistake....dont fuck around trains..there bigger than you. my thoughts go out to their families..sorry if it sounded cold

  • just as an FYI, in some parts of the world, a locomotive engineer is called a "driver." Hope this clears up any confusion from previous posts, the driver everyone is placing blame on is the driver of the auto, not the locomotive. I used to live not far from this line, and know of one Amtrak crew that resigned after so many fatality accidents from careless auto drivers running past gates or not stopping at the crossings when the lights were active.

  • @TrainSpottingCNW - To wit: "...and the train conductor said; take a break driver 8, driver 8 take a break you've been on this shift too long" - R.E.M.

  • This is what happens when you lower the driving age to 16. They might know how to drive yes, But judgment and common sense to know what's dangerous and what's not , And when to quit is NOT there. This is the result then

  • Reports say a witness say the vehicle swerve before going around the stopped car.

Driver was not paying attention to traffic???

  • If the engineer of that train happens to read this - IT WAS NOT YOUR FAULT. RIP to those young souls, peace and love to the engineer, and condolences to the parents.

  • Okay...for people saying that this horrific accident is the drivers fault, please be quiet. The speed and momentum of that train and the way the car zipped out of no-where gave that driver absolutly no chance of stopping the train and even if he hit the brakes,it was still a no go situation for those kids. Yes its horrible, but it was NOT the drivers fault. So for people saying that the driver should die and pay for his 'mistake',would you please please please grow up and open your eyes.

  • @drunkymunky87 I'm pretty sure nobody (besides the moron talking about the train slamming on brakes a year ago) was blaming anyone operating the train. By "driver", they meant that of the car.

  • Okay...for people saying that this horrific accident is the drivers fault, please be quiet. The speed and momentum of that train and the way the car zipped out of no-where gave that driver absolutly no chance of stopping the train and even if he hit the brakes,it was still a no go situation for those kids. • well the train was in quite a speed.. when did this happen ?

  • To all those who think that running a warning light at a crossing is clever, I would like to make two points. here they are.

Point 1. Four year olds know to stop at the lights and they don't even drive.

Point 2. FOUR YEAR OLDS KNOW TO STOP AT THE LIGHTS AND THEY DON'T EVEN DRIVE.

Now i realise that this is actually just one point, but i thought that it was so important that it was worth mentioning twice. Who's with me?

  • 2:04 SMACK!

  • all cause the driver was prolly trying to show off to his friends :(

  • All those deaths could've been prevented. NEVER GO AROUND THOSE ARMS!!! WHEN YOU HEAR BELLS RINGING, SEE LIGHTS FLASHING, AND THE ARMS ARE DOWN, STAY THERE, DON'T GO AROUND THEM!!!!!!!! This is what happens when you illegally cross the rail road tracks.

  • All those deaths could've been prevented. NEVER GO AROUND THOSE ARMS!!! WHEN YOU HEAR BELLS RINGING, SEE LIGHTS FLASHING, AND THE ARMS ARE DOWN, STAY THERE, DON'T GO AROUND THEM!!!!!!!!

  • S.U.F.F.E.R.

  • I feel sorry for the train crew and the passengers...I'm tired of stupid people who impact normal people lives.

  • foo if anything weed makes u drive slower! he was juss a shity driver

  • whats the train driver gonna do with his predator missile

  • Typical teens who feel they are immune to death.

  • i want to see the mangle bodies

  • omg that's like some Final Destination shit

  • Gotta love the 911 operator, "A train hit a car? Lots road and what?" Good lord, what a dummy. There are stupid people in every line of work.

  • Marijuana doesnt make you drive bad hahaha

  • That driver is such a fucking moron. I feel for the 4 other victims ...

  • And the poor train driver must feel horible having killed 5 people and not being able to do anything about it.

  • @UberBlair shoot! its not his fault. it was their carelessness.

  • i feel so bad see one little thing could cost you your life and so what if the driver went to cal 911 if i were hime i would rush to the people to see if they are alive

  • Horn was blowing, gates were down, and a they went around a car that was stopped at the crossing. So sad for the families and the train crew. And really sad that five people lost their lives for a 15 second wait.

  • thats really sad.they should have stoped.

  • i miss them soo much such a bad summer for all of there friends :(

  • @KelseyyyRoseee you knew them???? I am sorry for your loss.

  • @JayPattersonTV yes i did very upsetting summer last yearr :( its already been a yearr :(

  • @KelseyyyRoseee Jessica was very pretty :) I am really sorry again.

  • @KelseyyyRoseee Did Jessica's parents normally let her spend the night with men?

  • Judging by the video, the sticks that go down and tell you to stop weren't down.

  • Comment removed

  • @supralover6289131 you mean gates, and yes they were down.

  • damn that had to be wierd

  • If you don't know all the details to what happened in this accident, don't open your fucking mouth. The driver wasn't 16. And not all of them were under 18. So fuck off.

  • Obviously there can never be an excuse for this type of reckless insane driving, but it has to be said that American railroad crossings are woefully inadequate from a safety point of view compared to those in the UK and mainland Europe. There should be a lot more investment in the safety of crossings. Had there been barriers down I doubt if that car would have gone through.

  • this is the version with better quality

  • omg................=I

  • Talk about the shits.

  • what a fucking retard ..

  • iIF U DIDNT NOTICE... RITE BEFORE THE TRAIN SMASHES INTO THE CAR IF YOU LOOK AT THE RAILROAD CROSSINGS, THE BARRIERS NEVER CAME DOWN AND THERE WHERE NO LIGHTS AT ALL SIGNALING THAT A TRAIN WAS COMING.

sO FUK ALL U PPL TALKING SHYT. MY HEART GOES OUT TO THERE FAMILYS.

  • @RetroGamerX3 WHAT KIND OF STEREO BLASTING IDIOT BLASTS ACROSS TRACKS WITHOUT CONSIDERING A SPEEDING TRAIN IS BLASTING IT'S FUCKING HORN. DO THA FUKIN' MATH, RETARD.

  • @RetroGamerX3 AND THA FUKIN' CROSS-BUCKS WERE DOWN.

  • @RetroGamerX3 FU WHYD THE TRUCK STOP?? NUHHH? I DN NOW KUZ HE WANTED TO see train that was obviously coming! wake up!

  • Boy I feel sorry for those kids. what a way to go with you life completely out of your hands and in some dumb ass's . the worst part (other than the crash) is seeing the reaction of the conductor after the train stops. that image probably is going to haunt him for the rest of his life seeing 5 dead kids. so sad so sad

  • it's not his fault. the morron who drived the car is not the conductor. a train can't be stoped in a few feet like a car

  • @andrey91pireu I said nothing about it being the conductor's fault the dumb ass I'm referring to is the driver of the car. sorry for the confusion
