I think that the best investment I can make now-a-days is to buy food and water, (for long term storage,) fuels and other forms of energy, home safety, (all that it entails.) I also look for items that will assist in making or obtaining any items. I don't think now is the time to buy silver and gold. If SHTF happens, bullets and food will have as much or more bargining power as gold.

Loved ones around you that don't believe SHTF could happen will be the ones that need your help the most.

@sssshhhh101 Yes, stock up more. The American people haven't been straightening out the Congressmen who have been screwing them over, so things will probably continue to get worse, and then in large cities people will probably fight over food, etc.

@sssshhhh101 People will not be saying that you are a nut if they are hungry and coming to you for food, water, and safety. Good that people are preparing, and one should have these things anyway.,
