  • mr. son of a beachhh haha

  • sort of a reverse to the Cincinnati kid

in that movie the kid looses,in this one he wins.or he comes out even

  • I WONDER WAT HAPPENED TO WORM .... LOL

  • KGB string-bet on the river!!!

  • I think KGB had a set on the flop. He wouldn't bet that big on the flop....on that board with just an over-pair like Aces...

  • @endpoem set of sixes

  • They should do Rounders 2 where an older Matt Damon is a washed out poker bum/alcoholic who meets a nice, innocent girl who saves him from his demons, only to have Teddy KGB come back and take him all the way down. In the final scene, he'll be on skid row having flashbacks and reach into his pocket and all he has is an old, stale Oreo Teddy gave him.

  • can anybody explain the last thing that has happend. he doubled then he hit 5 cards etc then the 2 and then the ace and he said it does not benefit you why is that?

  • @maheradi It was the same "misjudgement " Matt had made towards KGB's hand in the 1st scene...KGB didnt realize that Matt had a "nut straight" (which means you are dealt a straight with the 1st 3 river cards..7,6,10

Matt was dealt the 8 &9 which is a straight.

All KGB thought was either Matt was bluffing or maybe he had a pair (?)

Also, Chan was dealt a "nut straight" in the scene they were watching on the TV

  • @chefjohn777 the "nut" also means the biggest hand... mike had the biggest hand on the board, no other hand is bigger with his 89

  • @maheradi KGB thought mike was going for a straight so maybe mike had 8 or and 9, so an ace would not help him make a straight... remember after the flop KGB bet 2K after mike checked, and mike called, KGB said "you are on a draw, mike?", meaning mike was hoping to draw a straight with the turn or river

  • POLSKA JEST WSZĘDZIE :D

  • Isn't the guy who played Grama Jackie Aprile from The Sopranos? I've seen him before i think... Rounders remains a great fuckin' movie.

  • Lol why is grama so pissed? he gets his money

  • @cloudstrife1288

I wondered that too.... he was partners with KGB and they LOST 50k...Matt pulled up with 10 and left with 50

Grama gets whats owed, but Matt was paying them with what he WON from the 2 of them....

  • @cloudstrife1288

Because Grama and KGB are partners...Matt pays them back with the money he won from them..

Matt pulled up with 10K and won 50k....he ended up leaving for Vegas after paying KGB, the chesterfield and the professor with 30k

  • @sanx21tube

KGB had AA not Ace 10. same 2 aces he had against Mike earlier

  • @VoteForRory1989

Nope, look how he bet on the flop with the 10, top pair, then when he get ace he raises.

  • KGB had A-10

  • @urphucked

when you talk like that, it generally means you aren't a "boss".

  • I like this movie, but it's kind of retarded when you think about it. Mike didn't learn a damn thing. He did the same dumbass thing in the end of the movie that he did in the beginning risking his entire bankroll like that.

Even if he was a better player does not mean that he is guaranteed to win. He could make a technically correct play and still lose his entire stack.

  • @TAllen013 He had the nuts, you idiot. He couldn't lose the last hand...

  • @Raghy07 tallen knows he had the nuts..his point was after getting the money to pay KGB back..he again sat down with him risking his entire bankroll again instead of paying him what he owed..before he got the nuts....like the beginning of the movie. You 'idiot'.

  • willy wonka !!! IT IS!!!

  • is that willy wonka walking by at 6:40

  • Rory, ima boss when it comes to poker, you want nun of this ya dig?

  • @urphucked

ghetto much? "I'll boss all you fools around in a game of NL hold em, YA HURD ME"

Want to not talk like you are a street thug?

Btw if you want a heads up match i accept, make it horse or 10 game or 7 game.

  • I'll boss all you fools around in a game of nl hold em, ya hurd me

  • son of beeech trikkk me .....lmao

  • Mr son of a bitch

  • " hanging around hanging around ". "Kids got alligator blood"....lol John malkovich is so funny in this movie classic...

  • @Enterfly how would Mike be in trouble. Teddy had the 2 red aces?

  • Id be like dude, youre heading downtown, at least turn around and head towards kennedy

  • Comment removed

  • @Jmbd07

I prefer awesome. Besides i just like exploiting stupidity.

  • Now Damon's raping Alex Rodriguez at the tables...

  • this guy has no bankroll management. he just won back his 30k and now plans on playing in a 10k buyin MTT

  • very good movie thx for the upload

  • He lost to Johnny Chen, and then proceeded to get juiced by more Russians, eventually his skill failed him, and his luck ran out. Now he works in one of KGB's brothels.

  • It's also recommended to play in an online poker room that is well-trusted and established because it usually has many registered players. Get bonus on 50free2play.co.cc and start your game!!

  • The 50free2play.co.cc is the world's largest online poker guide with the best bonus offers guaranteed and exclusive free tournaments for new players.

  • i don't know what to think about this movie.

all i saw was a man succumb to his addiction. His love of a game has cost him his girlfriend, his stable life as a lawyer, and his friend.

Then again, Matt Damon does not particularly look addicted. He has it in him to walk away, and he seems to have it under control. His girlfriend didn't understand him; he knew he wasn't cut out to be a lawyer, and his friend is a piece of shit.

Maybe poker really is an art. And it is a real way of life....

  • @FreeBeDrug Maybe. I'd love to get this on DVD and watch the commentary, if they have one....I don't play this game, but wow...the words!!

  • @FreeBeDrug poker is way not to have a job. its all about you. you either have it in yourself or dont. from my point of view its much more difficult to make money constantly by playing poker than finishing law school and getting a job. and now I really mean winning players

  • @mprinosil What i got from this movie, is poker IS a real way of life for those who want it. The way i see it, is if 1) you are good, 2) if you enjoy poker, and 3) if you strive to ever improve your game, there is no reason to not become a great poker player and make it a real way of life. I think that the process of getting through law school or just becoming who you want to be in life follows these three rules.

But yeah, you have to WANT to be a master of poker, otherwise it wont happen.

  • @FreeBeDrug Well said. This movie does a good job to show how poker is a microcosm of real life. In reality, you have to face challenges and setbacks, and that's what Matt faces- and does it pretty well. Dealing with Worm (no pun intended), the girlfriend, the professor, KGB is like navigating through moral highway (ie- helping a friend but putting yourself at risk doing it).

  • @sarasmilepiano And it is a little ironic that he is studying to be a lawyer, who has to be ethically astute and make the right decisions all the time. It may surprise some, but this is not just a "gambling movie". It's also about hope, determination, and finding oneself (or direction in life).

  • I would like to see Mike's face if the board paired on the river.:)

  • @Enterfly nice one lol

  • @Enterfly what does that mean?

  • @holahahaful That means Mike would be in real trouble.:D

  • dont understand why grammer is mad, hes getting his money from mike dermate;choochmonkey!!!!

  • @Chinaman613 beacause gramma and kgb are "business partners" (i dont know how else to describe them) and kgb ended up losing 30k, so if kgb lost 30k then so did gramma

  • @51909relapseminem I think it's because Gramma wanted to beat the crap out of Worm, and since he left, Mike was the next one in line for a beating. imho

  • @Jthrillsnskills

Teddy had 2 aces the same 2 from the beginning. The directors said Teddy had a hand of signifance... which would only be that.

  • teddy had pocket 10's the last hand, u can see when he throws the deck down

  • @enonlangia

You argue the game lacks skill, and only argue the preflop situation there is skill there you just tip toed around it. If i go all in with A7 on a read and get called by A9 Preflop Regardless of the situation. i may be upset but its not "Unlucky", Its No Limit Holdem. I have learned the mathematical aspects of it fairly decently and i can honestly say 80% of my live cash sessions end in profit. and I atleast cash in 65% of my live tournements. (Yes i do keep a record of this).

  • @VoteForRory1989 You sir are pathetic.

  • @enonlangia

    9) Negreanu has since taken a complete 360 and relearned the online aspect to help improve his game. the online aspect which is heavily mathematical.

    10) Unless you are playing No limit 7 card stud (highly unlikely) i would not like to play that game because if i get unlucky 2 hands in a row, a comeback is highly unlikely.

    11) Yes many pros have went broke and borrowed from one another. Some get staked now as to avoid the risk (I.E 25k or 100k tournies)

  • @enonlangia

#6 if you want to go that route, i can argue that 7 card stud is more of a fishy game with the amateurs then NLH. Want to know how i know that? simple when i make calls with pairs of 5's and 6's for example and win more then i lose.

#7 you won't have to put all ur money in preflop if you know how to play.

#8 NLH is a game of outwitting your opponents and giving urself the most opportunity/chance to win (I.E going all in gives u 2 chances; they fold or they call and u win).

  • @enonlangia

#4 Main event final tables are not made up of amateurs.. maybe a couple but majority have alot of poker friends and are well known grinders among the online community. Soi Nguyen was the only one without a track record. everyone had one either online or live.

#5 stop with the 28% of ur hand in play crap thats a useless stat. noone claims going all in is "poker skill". but calling with a better hand, or going all in when u know they will call with worse, IS POKER SKILL.

  • @enonlangia

#2 continued. Yang never claimed to be a tourney professional and went back to his job same with Gold. Varkoni fails at being a tourney pro and Moneymaker looks to be making a comeback with some decent scores recently.

#3 U lost with KK that much? you probably play lower stakes like dollar tourneys. Another thing, Im calling BS on your # and would like you to prove it. 176 hands of KK over 4 years? you don't play enough thats why.

  • @enonlangia

1)Ummm @ojideagu said it best, Luck does not factor in when you have played 10's of thousands of hands.. at that point you will see if you are a winning or losing player. WHICH LUCK CAN'T CHANGE. if your telling us Luck can change that ur really missinformed and just the casual observer who thinks he/she knows all

    2) 5 of the last 9 (not counting 2011) either have consistent tourney results (hachem/raymer/eastgate/Duhamel) or claimed to play for a living (Cada).

  • @enonlangia im going back disecting your very misinformed comments give me time.

#1 this film helped the poker boom. Chris Moneymaker did hte other 95%

#2 If you play a mathematical game, Poker is very easy.

#3 NLH makes it easier to avoid those idiot PLH or LHE fish that u described.

#4 Luck is the same to every person, Got news for you. You will never know if its good or back luck until you see yours and his hand. For all you know you can fold and your 1 outer hits on the river.

  • @enolaniaga ur a bit special there. judging by ur post u dont realize that those all in coin flips are put on TV cause its better for ratings? they rarely show the times during tournements about the players grinding through the hands and picking up the small pots cause they aren't appealing.

Oh also, 2007 was the last time someone who DIDNT PLAY POKER for a living won the main event. Now the final tables usually have the semi pro's making it there or the unknown players to the casual eye

  • cheek! cheek! check!

  • oh yeah and one more thing... if youve only played pocket kings 176 times in 4 years playing online poker, you havent played nearly poker to be talking like that. you should have seen them more like 176 times per year for 4 years, then you would see a change in your statistics. and of course thats only including all-in preflop hands, not if you donk the hand away playing it bad and letting someone catch like im sure you have many, many times.

  • enolanianga just sounds like a disgruntled wannabe poker pro gone bust, whos only use now in life is to write about how 2 out of 7 cards is 28 percent of your hand. you should take some advice from devilpro because hes absolutely correct. youre just a losing player....poker pros do it in the cash game, how absurd is it that amatuers are winning a tournament with thousands of entrants??? any pro, or even anyone with a brain knows the odds of winning that tournament professional or not are long.

  • another fact, many of the top pros in N/L hold em, have went broke at one or more times in their careeer. If they didint have a huge bankroll , they would have to borrow money from other players/ backers to get back into the game.

  • @enolaniaga the wsop main event, which sees so many hands dealt, has a significant aspect of luck in the game. Put in order words, one has to run good and avoid coolers to finish deep. However, there is only so many times when u can pick up aces pf to the other guy's kings. Its at the cash games where the pros just take it away. Also, NL holdem is a math game, its not about being results oriented but consistently making +ev decisions and having a large enough br to accomodate variance

  • If there wasnt a significant amount of luck in N/L hold em, then why have the last 10 years of the WSOP main event , had mostly amateurs at all their final tables ? Why havent the SKILLED PROS, been able to get to the final table ? It proves that there is a significant amount of luck in the game. If luck wasnt a factor, then the final tables would be mostly pros , and the winners over the last 10 years, wouldnt be amateurs. Its just common sense.

  • Watch any N/L tounrament on T.V. , and it is FILLED with constant all in preflop plays . These all in coin flip hands often decide who is gonna be the ones to make it to the BIG money/ final table. Any player who does not win their all in preflop coin flip hands , can never win such tournaments....proving once again, that such a game has a siginificant amount of luck involved.

  • @enolaniaga There is an amount of luck involved, but the whole idea of Hold'em is to read and play your opponent, not the cards. You can get the cards and take the pots you will definitely win, and you would be lucky if you won the game in the end, but you can also win without having anything at all. That's when the real card players show their skills, and that's why there are always a few recognisable faces playing at the final tables.

  • @JNovak92

reading your opponents hand is a crucial skill in any poker game...but hold em differs in that players will often have to risk all their chips/ money preflop, on just 28% of their total hand. This is one reason I claim that it is also a game of significant GAMBLE and luck/chance. I see hold em as more of a gamblers game and 7-stud as more of a poker game. IMHO patience and memory is a bigger part of 7-stud , then it is in hold em.

  • All poker games have luck in them, the skill is in getting your chips in good as much as you can, in the long run you will normally win, backgammon is the same it does not matter how good you are if the other person keeps throwing the best dice, The big online winners play so many hands that the odds from the hands work out, and then they win.

  • @foxchild312

Yes, all poker games do have a certain amount of luck involved. Im claiming that any poker game that is setup so the players will sometimes have to risk al/most of l their chips on coin flip hands , while only seeing 28% of their total hand when making TOTAL commimitment to the hand , with no possible other strategic plays on the part of the player, is at the top of the poker games in which luck plays a significant role.

  • now, im not saying hold em is ALL luck...BUT imho, IT IS ONE OF THE FEW POKER GAMES , where I would rather be a avergae player with good luck, then be a above average player with average luck. At least in a game like 7-stud, the player still has options to get out of a hand and not lose all their money , on 5th-6th-7th street , if it looks as though their hand has been chased down and beaten.

  • even top players like Negraneau , have admitted on T.V. that the " mathmatical odds" are to often a bunch of bullshit . N/L hold em is one of the few poker games, where the player can consistently make the proper plays and lose ALOT of money , because part of the game is for the player to have the willingness to commit their whole chip stack , preflop , which locks the player into a hand in which luck/chance is now in TOTAL control. ...continued...

  • therefore , any game that dictates the players must eventually risk all their money/chips on a preflop coin flip hand where they only are holding 28% of their total hand , is a game where a significant amount of chance is a part of the game. The problem I have with the game is , that such plays require the player to be TOTALLY committed to a hand , in which they dont have any moves left to make. They are totally at the mercy of " luck of the flop" and " chance" .

  • any honest person will admit that on many occasions , n/l hold em is a crap shoot of preflop coin flip hands . Putting all of ones money in preflop, on just 28% of their total hand , on coin flip hands, is not skilled poker playing, it is GAMBLING and hoping that the odds work in your favor. ...and yet one can expect to have to make such crap shoot plays , on several occasions in the course of the game. NO PLAYER is gonna always fold coin flip hands preflop. ...continued

  • Can't wait for rounders 2 !!

  • can someone explain to me how anyone would claim that going all in preflop on 2 coin flip hands, is skill related ? Do you really believe that going all in on such hands, with just 28% of your total hand in play, and then sitting back, unable to fold, raise, check , and watching the next 5 cards of the flop being dealt out , is really poker skill ?

  • @enolaniaga the point is not to go all in pre but to play all the streets, i can make the money in a tourney with out ever winning a showdown, the all in is about trying to get the other player to fold

  • @foxchild312

Baloney ! Anyone playing in a lengthy N/L HOLD EM tournament { like WSOP} can expect to have to go all in preflop on at least 1 or more occasions . Even the so called pros admit that sooner or latert, you are gonna have to risk all or most of your chips preflop on coin flip hands , if you wish to have a chance at the BIG MONEY. If a player only has about 15 big blinds left, and they are dealt A/Q suited , they are gonna risk it all against a underpair.

  • 7-stud = a game of more patience, memory and ability to fold a solid hand without commiting all your chips on just 2 cards / 28% of your hand { like hold em is}

N/L hold em - a game of position , aggression and willingness to put all your chips in preflop on just 2 cards/ 28% of your total hand. The fact is, that in this game, you will often have to put most of your money in preflop , on hands that are virtual coin flips. Not much skill in doing that .

  • to the person who falsely claims that " the better player will always win more hands" , you are INCORRECT. The LOOSER player who plays 3-4x as many hands as a good tight player, will win more hands, because they are in more hands..but that doesnt mean they will win more money. Take a player like guss hansen vs dan harrington. Hanson will win more hands because he plays more hand then harrington , but that doesnt mean that hanson will be the bigger winner.

  • Once again, if there isnt alot of luck involved in n/l hold em , then tell me why for the last 10 years, almost all of the WSOP main event winners have been amateurs ? In fact, most of the main event final tables are now made up of AMATEURS. If its such a skill game, then these final tables should be mostly all pros. 7-card stud is a game of more skills because patience and memory are a bigger part of the game.

  • Pocket kings are supposed to win 78- 82% of the time, when they go all in preflop. Over the last 4 years of playing online, I have LOST with pocket kings 68% of the time, when going all in preflop. These stats are compiled by my poker tracking software and anaylizing my play with pocket kings in 176 hands over the course of 4 years of play. N/L hold em is the CRAP SHOOT of poker .

  • the reason is, some people are LUCKIER at overcoming bad odds, compared to other people. This LUCK applys to much of our lives and it also applys to gambling of ALL sorts..from hold em, to craps , to slot machines. There are very few games of TOTAL skil but .chess is one of them. Certain people in life do have a better track record of overcoming bad odds . Anyone who claims that every person on earth has the exact same amount of luck over the course of months, years, is full of shit

  • Chance, odds, luck , whatever one choses to call it , the fact is that life is a lottery. Some people are handed a better situation then others , some people experience better scenarios then others . I know people who consistently win big money at slot machines , and beat the bad odds , while other people play just as much, and continously lose at slot machines. Why do some people win and others lose ?

  • Most of these comments are about how luck really exists.. Well who issues this luck? Where does luck come from? What logic is luck based on? How does it exist if we cannot see, feel, smell, touch, change, or physically alter it? Where is the luck headquarters? It isn't "Luck" It's Chance!, and it is defiantly not distributed evenly amongst us all. So It's chance, not luck... luck does not exist. Luck cannot exist what so ever. Luck is imaginary.

  • @enolianga or whatever your name is, the reason AK vs 99 doesn't average out to 50-50 is because it isn't 50-50. The 9's will win slightly more often. And obviously there's luck involved, but the outrageous statistics you've manifested are the only asinine thing I see here. The better player wins more pots, regardless of the game. So do some research before you start writing essays on YouTube. You embarrass yourself.

  • 4:21 = perma tilt

  • thanks for posting the movie!

  • most people would have cookies stuck in their teeth but not teddy kgb!

  • i search this video when i started play Hold'em on facebook

  • @adrianmrmonk

doesnt life are much better now?

  • As further proof that N/L hold em has alot of luck in it , all we have to do is look at the last 10 years of WSOP main event. Almost all the winners of that event have been AMATEURS. If its such a skill game, then why have all the pros not been able to win the main event for so long now ? In fact, most of the final tables in the WSOP main event are amateur players/ unknowns.

  • @enolaniaga Tournament poker is far more about luck. Cash Games are the real deal and need far more skill.

  • For those who claim LUCK does not exist in life, I always point out the odds of being hit by lightnining are very low, yet some people get struck by lightining many times . This proves that some people are UNLUCKY. IMHO, a game like 7card stud is much less of a crap shoot, then games like n/l hold em , where a player can lose their whole buy in , on 1 bad beat hand.

  • The player with above average luck, will consistently win 50-50 hands preflop , 70% or more of the time when they go all in preflop. You can take a coin flip/50-50 hand

{ A/K SUITED vs 9-9 } and deal it out 1000 times, and I guarantee it wont average out to 50-50 split wins. This PROVES that the mathmatical odds are not a solid guarantee over the course of many hands. playing sessions. Luck is a factor in much of our life.

  • @enolaniaga Over a long enough sample the odds do even out. Try 10,000 hands or even 1 million, at some point they will level out to near 50/50

  • I consider hold em to be the " crap shoot" of poker games. Its a fast , gamblers game. In poker, I would much rather be a average player with above average luck , then a above average player with average or below average luck.

  • and calls sizeable bets for inside straight cards , AND WINS. Hes a lose , sloppy GAMBLER , but he has had incredible luck for 3 years . Hes the kind of player that will call LARGE bets preflop with A/9 , and CONSISTENTLY bust pocket kings. Any game like hold em , that allows a player to bet most or all of their chips preflop , on just 28% of their total hand { 2 cards} , is gonna have alot of luck factor invovled.

  • Luck is not " imaginary' . Luck plays a important role in much of peoples lives and is a definite factor in poker. For anyone to claim that " all poker players have the exact same amount of luck over a given time period" is totally assinine. I know a 64 year old pot limit hold em player who has been on a lucky streak for 3 years now. He wins over $100,000 a year in the local pot limit hold em games. He constantly makes mistakes, misreads his hands....{ to be continued}

  • KGB is portrayed as the most bad azzed NL hold em player, and yet he has the most obvious poker tell in the history of the game. When he has the nuts, he puts OREO cookies in his ear. ROFL....now that would be a hard tell to pickup on. LOL.

  • I would imagine this film is partly responsible for millions of people entering the no limit poker world of hold em , thinking they can supplement their incomes thru nothing more then " solid playing " , only to find out that to be a successful no limit hold em player, you also need alot of luck, and a large bankroll to weather the endless bad beats.

  • @enolaniaga "Thinking they can supplement incomes thru nothing more then (sic) "solid playing" "

Well, that's right for many of those millions, sure. But somewhere upwards of ten percent of them broke even or made money, however insignificant. About 1% of us were making either a partial or complete living from poker (especially online). If you play simply a game theoretical strategy, you can't lose money. If you want to make money, you have to exploit your opponents mistakes. 85+% aren't solid

  • @enolaniaga Continued...

Luck is imaginary, there is no such thing. It's a hindsight view, an illusion of the mind seeking patterns, of random statistical variance. Probability, law of big numbers, etc., that's all that matters. Luck is looking back over a good run or a bad run and seeing patterns. The longterm is the only trend that matters. It's like looking at your paycheck come in (good run), bills goinf out (bad run), and calling it luck every Friday. It's predictable, given your work week

  • And lastly...

The big bankroll is correct. You need a massive BR to play tourneys in NLHE, but in cash it's not really that bad. Small single table SNGs have very low variance too. But even those, your usually looking at buying in like Wall Street traders...at most 2% of your BR (assuming it's your job, more otherwise, as the BR is replacable through paychecks).

  • Perhaps the most unbelievable part of this film is the portrayal of a jewish law proffessor who gives $10,000 to a goy , in the middle of the night , without any signed contracts or interest applied to the loan. Thats about as believable as a godzilla movie. Gotta love those jewish writers and their imagination.

  • Considering how the hand went down, I'm 95% sure Teddy KGB had a set of 10's.

  • lol no it doesnt have your name on it, scotty ngyuen won in 1998

  • i think kgb had aces in his hole cards then on the river the other ace hit had mike so he thought

  • KGB looks like a smaller Zangief from Street Fighter.

  • The huge clue to figure out what teddy has is how he reacts when Mike calls. He's still smiling _after_ Mike makes the call, and the way Mike calls quickly and with a speech shows massive strength. A funky played AK/AQ that doesn't raise pre wouldn't be happy when instacalled on the river. In fact, flopped two pairs wouldn't be very happy at all. I think Teddy has AT or a set. A set of aces would give the movie a nice symetry given that Teddy first beats Mike by slowplaying aces preflop.

  • i want to learn Teddy KGB's accent and want some cookies

  • not a bad movie, but it would be nice if they actually made a legit movie about poker without all the hollywood nonsense.

    Poker is a grind...

  • Biggest secret of this movie: What did KGB have in that final hand???

  • @gilyv051 Ace ten?

  • @gilyv051 Played the vid in slow mo after he threw the cards away, looked like pocket 10's for a set.

  • @USATaxAttorney

Look at the scene right before he throws the cards away - he has the deck in his hand, his hole cards are on the table. So the cards you see are not his hole cards.

  • @rodoidify You're right! But I still put him on 2 pair or a set.

  • Ah I heard it twice on an image board when some one posted an image they also put "This is credit to team" At first I thought it was the source. By the way I am playing good poker with 50free2play.co.cc these days.

  • he should've gave at least a grand to the professor for lending out the 10k. it was a huge favor. deserves some reward

  • @cannabisbisbisbisbis he payed him back what are you talking about

  • @Sageisstupid im talking about interest, he lend him 10k, but mike after winning all that money should give the professor 11k or 12k for the favor.

  • Mr. Sun ofa beetch, lets plays sun carrds...

  • this movie reminds me that no matter how in love and how much u think your girl has your back that she only has it while your up but when the shit hits the fan and your not doing awesome then shes like uuuuuhhhhhh..........lol but then when your back up again shes like hey we should hang out sometime u know catch up lol

  • Alligator blood, like Madison Bumgarner 1:44

  • Loved this movie. Being a reformed hold'em player * now omaha* It is fun to remember the bad beats any card player has. If you are playing poker to become rich, there are easier ways to make money. You want to make a million in poker? Start out with two.

  • In My club, i will splash the pot when-ever the fukc i please hehe

  • pej det mjen he's manie :D

  • phil hellmuth was more suitable for the malcovich role LMAO

  • awesome first time watching it damm it was good so why not make a part 2 come on guys use make enough money now lol its been too long ill be the first 2 watch the part 2 if u made 1 but great movie

  • Not hungry haha! AWESOME!

  • don't splash the pot

    LOL

  • A good skillful poker player can just get angry and cry now becoz donks are every where. They will call your AK with K9, QQ with Q10, AA with J8 and will win some how. Donks are the poker players now, both online and in live games.

Poker is dead now, once it was all about skills and now its all about luck. So whats the point to play poker now ?

  • @aliabideen sounds like you taken some bad beats son keep up the speed and then cry less pray more

  • @aliabideen so you would prefer to play in a game vs. regulars where every player is better than you. you ll get no value out of your Aces, your bluffs may work a bit better but its going to be a painfull grind. I actually think you are one of those players that raise preflop with Aces and wont lay them down, no matter what. so if a donkey hits 2 pair you invested 3 bb ahead and the rest being behind. gl

  • @aliabideen While what you're saying is true, those guys are suckers. Odds are odds. Everybody gets bad beats, even guys like Negreanu and Phil Ivy and all the rest. The Only guy I don't see take too many beatings is the Texas Dolly, Brunson. He knows when to holdem and ... Play poker to have fun, otherwise it can make you miserable.

  • @aliabideen All it means is a change in strategy. Poker has always been about playing people, not cards. A good poker player knows it is about the long haul, not the individual hands or even sessions. A tight and aggressive player is going to crush calling station donks given enough time.

  • In communist Russia cards fold you.

  • @napsterdotno IN AMERICA WE RAPE RUSSIA AND RUSSIA AS WELL AS ANY OTHER COUNTRY WILL NEVER EVER BE AS GOOD AS AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO AMERICA!!!!!!!!

  • Ok, this is what I want to know...what is Grandma so upset about at the end?? What was he set to get out of Damon losing all the money? After Damon wins the hand, he STILL has to pay Grandma his 15K....so Grandma gets 100% return on his $.30 on the dollar investment...so where is the problem? What was he set to gain by Damon losing? I don't get it...

  • @mmk2112 In all these movies there has to be an artificial source of conflict and anger (the girlfriend is clearly that). It's all so formulaic.

Grandma's anger at the end just serves to provide a convenient exclamation point to end the scene. That 's all, you don't need a reason or internal motivation.

  • @mmk2112 He's pissed cause even though he was paid what was owed, they ended up having to pay Mike 60+ grand.

  • @mmk2112 Yeah that part doesn't make sense.

  • Even though Teddy KGB is an asshole,

when he said, "he beat me. Straight up. Pay Him! Pay that man his money"

I found new respect for him.

  • Ah I heard it twice on an image board when some one posted an image they also put "This is credit to team" At first I thought it was the source. By the way I am playing good poker with 50free2play.co.cc these days.

  • And Gramma doesn't get a fuckin' dime!!

  • @killerkombokalamari: KGB deals, and is on the small blind. KGB already and completed the blind when Mike viewed his hand. Mike doesn't check his option, instead he raises the amount of the pot ("I'll double the blinds"). KGB calls that action then deals the flop. Then Mike acts first to check. It is a little confusing, I always prefer to play in a casino with a pro dealer. Love this flick though (did I mention that??)

  • Damon should've flopped his nuts on the table and said "guess what I got son"

  • He only eats Oreos when he has a good hand, oh what a difficult tell. That must have been for the people that had never played poker before they watched this movie.

  • @idlovetoclimbthat: It's not that he eats them it's how he eats them...however, it is a pretty lame tell to spot so late in the movie, still, for Mike, KGB is a very intimidating player and he has destroyed Mike before, so maybe the focus of the moment is why Mike finally picks up the tell.

  • 2:42 voice crack lol

  • who wouldn't pick poker over this ugly girlfriend

  • MISTTTTTTTA SON OF AHHHHHHH BEEEEEEEEETCCCCCCCHHHHHHH

  • @slimshady617 - The dealer button ALWAYS acts last. 1st round:"I'll double the blinds"

    River Round:"I'm gonna check Teddy"

Button acts last no matter where the blinds are; Sometimes in heads up you play with just a single blind, the button acts last.

BTW did I mention that I LOVE this flick?

  • @USATaxAttorney i guess Mike askes to double the blinds permanently, so KGB calls and Mike checks. Also KGB deals at the moment. its a bit confusing but i guess its just a blind increase.

  • @USATaxAttorney Haha, the button doesn't always act last. The only exception is preflop when playing heads up, such as the one in this video. I play poker professionally so I know what I'm talking about. And yes, this is a great movie.

  • @CitySkin09 - "Turned my 10 grand into JUST OVER 60." Thats how he got back to 3 stacks of H.S.

  • @USATaxAttorney -- OVER 60. I forgot all about that little nugget of information. Thanks for the heads up.

  • PLEASE GOD, LET THEM MAKE THE SEQUEL!!
