We have children and expect them to follow their parents word. But they grow up and they follow their own words before long. If we are his children, isn't the same. @avi755 indeed its easy to say Christianity failed in the modern world, but what about the ancient one? take for example the aztecs and mayans (im not exactly familiar with these particulars of history). no evidence of christianity at all, for generations. perhaps the bible is true and in the beginning they all believed in god then rejected him. still there were entire generations who had no chance to know god that were lost. do they deserve eternal torment? did god ignore them? --

@avi755 did he speak to them? through whom? were there any ancient south american prophets? then when finally divine salvation arrives and the conquistadors come instead of christs word they recieve smallpox and the sword. musket. whatever. there is no semblance of justice nor any divine plan. there is one civilizations difference from another and a bunch of humans being dicks to each other. if god were as described in the bible i dont see how such things came to pass.

In my house you follow my rules. In your house, I follow your rules. In God's house we follow His rules and one of His rules is that sense does not have to be made with all of His decisions . God is Spirit He and HE alone is called the ETERNAL WONDER..which means He has no beginning and no ending. All in this world and beyond came out of Him (NOT OUT OF NOTHING). the aliens told the dogons thier beleifes and gave them intergalactic maps, and even of alpha cerious... te dogons are nearly dead, and tey belive in the alien gods of the alphas...

Where did God come from? God is the "ETERNAL WONDER" meaning He has no beginning and no ending. He "Always Was and Is"Next Read Romans 5:18-19 it will explain why so many died for the sake of one and how by the righeteousness of "ONE" that same many will live!. God did not kill your grandfather, He is "Life" not a killer. You will see your grandfather again because someone died that he (your grandfather) will live for ever more. Peace!

The "ALIENS" or "Hosts" of heaven, existed long before mankind.They messed up and need to be taught righteousness, therefore God decided to create a special group to teach them righteousness. I have a question. Does a father tell his children, "Love me or I will kill you"? No. A father loves his children, EVEN if his children hate him. That love can never be broken, and a father will never punish his children for what he has given them. A father will give his children goodness, and if they still hate him, he will still love them, because he is a GOOD father. God is not good if he punishes us because we hate him. God is not a GOOD FATHER!

What Antitheisticatheist asked was more along the lines of why god would create people with FREE WILL who could choose NOT to worship him if what he wanted was worship. It's a little contradictive, especially since god is supposed to be perfect.

It sounds kinda reasonable what you say.
But if we asume that God exists and that he created the garden of Eden and man brought sin upon the world.
Why do God still assume that we should remember all that? Countless of stories have been told of how the world began and mankind is devided. Why do he wait this long, when we now almost forgot what we did wrong in the first place?
It doesn't sound reasonable to me, it's like he never existed and that the stories are just stories.
