This is a wonderful movie - a must for any lover of screwball comedy, but also a great romance, and available on DVD - highly recommended. There is a scene when she enters the train and does a funny, disgusted take that I think may have inspired Lucille Ball later - see if you see in it what I see...
what a loss ! this was one gorgeous sexy female with a great talent . it like a competition who could best the other. an amazing performance from lombard because she was a novice. and barrymore was at his best. this movie could still be good even 2008 . what great dialogue!
John Barrymore really was in magnificent form here and I always felt that he gave a tour de force performance of hilarious hysterics in Howard Hawks' Twentieth Century. He and Lombard wonderfully complement each other. Though Barrymore would be good in later roles, this is truly the last great performance he ever gave before heavy drinking began to catch up with him.
This is the film that really changed her career. She started in the 1920's as a Mack Sennett girl. This was her 1st complex role. Later came My Man Godrey, Nothing Sacred etc
Is there any way you can put clips from this film up, particularly the part where Barrymore, & Lombard are kissing, & he shuts the door with his foot.
I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. Please view my clip of some rare 1930's movie star cards, including Carole Lombard, Bette Davis, Clark Gable, Mae West, Will Rogers and many more.
thanks for your tribute.

petty ppl who do not like this music for these clips should make their own videos instead of criticizing the up-loader.

beautiful video! I adore her but I don't really like this movie. But she was amazing and I love the song you chose.

she is gorgeous indeed, so heartbreaking to know she died so tragically.

Gee, another video of a great movie with great stars and a mediocre, senseless song to ruin everything.

how about just playing the clips instead of covering it with your music choice which no one cares about
