Oh, I didn't know you had a part one (I wathced the part deux. LOL! That Lotta body made my roots frizz even when I was relaxed. You may have to do the roller set while your hair is more wet and set with ecogel/olive oil mix and wrap the hair smoothly on the roller to make it less frizzy. Then dry under a hood.
OMG I may try the eco olive oil gel. I don't even know why I bought Lottabody? I just didn't know what else to use. My hooded dryer is in my storage (I live in a studio now) and I lost my key :/ so I haven't been able to get to it yet. But that is a good idea, I may try that...
With wet hair it tends to get frizzy afterwards so its best do it with dry hair the results turn out better

this may cost more but I have seen the best ones come out well with miss jessies curling custard. Costs more but just a suggestion.

Lottabody always made my hair fill hard (even when relaxed). I second the eco/olive oil mix...I luv it (although I haven't tried it on a roller set).
