  • um... isn't supposed to use sugar? and babyoil is way too oily and the smell is very bold, better to use almond or olive oil

  • I dont really like it! why baby oil? you have almond or jojoba oil!!!!

  • thanks, this is a great beginner video, and one can embellish upon it there personal touch.

I am going to try the with Himalayan salts and coconut oil cant wait!!!

using 2 prime ingredients like this no need for fragrance or vitamin E.

  • I'm amazed that people actually make a big deal about a scrub. The salt is the exfoliate that wipes away the dead skin, the baby oil is the moisturizer, the vitamin E is good nutrient for the skin. It's not like you put it on for hours or a day or something. It is to be cleaned off after use. It's not going to clog pores and it isn't going to make you break out.

  • It looks like she looked around her cupboard and bathroom and just plumped 2 ingredients together.

  • Salt is great for healing acne scars, but if you have skin that's prone to breakouts you may want to substitue baby oil with olive oil. Great scrub :)

  • Did she just use salt as in table salt?

  • terrible baby oil clogs pores this lady is STUPID

  • can you use olive oil? or just almond oil?

  • @gummybeargirl77 you can use whatever oil you prefer...

  • i know how much i want to put in my salt scrub........NONE!!!

  • GUYS,

She already made a comment on here about how she meant to say ALMOND oil, not baby oil. It was an accident, everyone needs to chill the fuck out

  • olive oil is the best

  • BABY OIL??? NO NO NO... are you insane?????

  • oh no baby oil is horrible for this. Is is a blocker from allowing everything to get into your skin. Take that out and just use vitamin E.

  • ur very good thanks for the video

  • What kind of salt

  • whats da difference between sugar scrub or salt

  • @MsMojo61

Ones made with salt, ones made with sugar?

  • @MsMojo61 salt scrub you have to use sea salt but with sugar scrub you can you what kined you want :) but i like to but the sugar one more but thats just me :D

  • had the title of this video been "..BODY Scrubs" it would have been much better.

  • Umm.. It looks like sugar and water.

  • WHERE DO YOU FIND LIQUID VITAMIN E

  • @malume1000 the vitamin aisle at any grocery store.

  • @malume1000 u can find it pretty much any drugstores, like walgreens or rite aid, its usually in the first aid section because its used for healing scars as well

  • ok, i never seen Vitamin E that is liquid form, where do i get them from?

  • @HobyoGirl you can find in any drugstores usually, like rite aid or walgreens its usually in the first aid section because its used to heal scars

  • This is crap. You make me want to make a video to correct this great wrong.

  • i dont wanna be mean, really, but ur "cute scrub" is horrible for the skin. salt absorbs moister and baby oil blocks nutrients. except for the vitamen e, all the ingrediants r a recipe for disaster. wat u should do is remake this video except use olive oil and sugar. just thought u would want to know.

  • Comment removed

  • Olive Oil would be better than baby oil ;(

  • Woah that's way too watery!! If u put that much baby oil you will break out big time!!

  • Baby oil is horrible for your skin! especially on your face. mineral oils blocks your skin from absorbing nutrients!

  • @eryan1987 Maybe u can use water? they just want a smoother face lol

  • SUGAR/SALT SCRUBS ARE MEANT FOR THE BODY DUMMY!!!!

  • @dangerouslola Not really, some are made for facial scrub as well. Lush does carry some of those sugar/salt scrubs for face. :) They work are amazing.

  • @dangerouslola

    the video said "facial scrubs"

  • Watch how cast

  • Did she say baby oil she is stupid that will brake ou my face more idiot

  • She made these vids to HELP you, if you dont like expert village why waste your time commenting??

  • Fagggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg, baby oil & salt will effing KILL your skin..so dumb!

  • @emmywuvsyeww So that's a reason to call her a fag? So immature.

  • BABY OIL????? Use grapeseed safflower or almond oil. Olive oil has a slight odor.

  • DO NOT USE BABY OIL ON YOUR SKIN!!!!!!

  • - do not use baby oil !!!!

  • There is noooo way that you are an expert, any fool knows that you should not put salt on your skin because it DEHYDRATES IT AND BABY OIL CLOGS YOUR PORES DUMMY!!!!!!!!! LET ME SEE YOU USE THAT MESS. YOU SLAP YOURSELF!!!!!! This pisses me off because someone who needs help with their skin will run across your idiotic view of a facial scrub and ruin their skin even more.

  • This is just sooooooo bad! Please guys if you have dry skin DO NOT use this!! Why doesn't she tell this? OMG what is she trying to do? make our skin as horrible as possible?

  • Easy way; Salt and Olive Oil

  • SO let me get this straight...This is the same as the sugar scrub? Oh wait, no, it bubbles.......

  • why did she keep swallowing after every wrod ... ugh this vid irritated me ..

  • wtf did u learn that!! baby oil clogs the poors!!

  • O.O baby oil is chemicals! why would I put that on my face?!

  • I make my own scrubs but I use coconut oil because I love the scent and it's great on my skin. I don't use salt or sugar though.

  • adding a "cute" ribbon does not make your horrible scrub better.

  • my god! why baby oil??? it's PETROLEUM waste!!!! use coconut, oilve, jojoba oils....anything but baby oil! you would even be better off putting cooking grease on your face then that nasty sh*t....

  • Why would you use baby oil that's full of chemicals as apposed to all the natural oils out there that work soooo much better AND cheaper. Such as coconut oil, olive oil, avocados etc...

  • vit.E oil is a good choice, but NO to baby oil.

  • oh and wait! salt is also horrible for your skin! its extremely comedogenic and its an irritant. what a dumbass

  • she looks like such an airhead lmao baby oil is horrible for your skin! but at least its a "cute scrub"

  • I heard baby oil is harmful to skin..

  • What's with the insulting comments I like her!! And the 35% percent skin cancer thing is a lie only if you go out in sun that is 115F!!

  • she sounds kinda drugged....

  • baby oil isso stupid expert village suucks eggs

  • @Videogurls98

When you exposed it skin to the sun with baby oil ur rates of getting skin cancer increase by 35%.

  • Baby oil isn't good for the skin. When akin is exposed to sun with baby oil on it, your chances of getting skin cancer increase by 35%

  • baby oil is notgood for your face! but its okay for your body...

  • ok nobody hate me but why is bay oil bad for your skin is it just bc its like pure oil?

  • @videogurls98 baby oil (also called mineral oil or liquid petroleum) is a by-product of gasoline production. why on the god's green earth would you even consider putting something so nasty on your skin?

  • @Muxxyy haha thx

  • omg this is the most STUPID video i ever watched!!!! We can't use baby oil!!!! U idiot, u are teaching ppl the wrong way and destroy our face!!!!

  • oh my god is this meant to be used on the face. i guess if you want to DESTROY your skin. what a dummy!

  • next she is going to tell me to use hairspray while smoking................

  • @SinnamonGoodies lmao.. i couldn't resist laughing hard... lol

  • this looks like the kind of face scrub a 2 year old would make.

  • @100Evie It's cheap, easy and it works. Why waste money on expense shit that may or may not work when you make one in 2 minutes!

  • wow, almost everything that your using is VERY bad for your face. not good.

  • she left out the Crisco facial mask!! ha ha.

  • @MISSMEGANBBYXX lmao... haha

  • fragrance & baby oil? perfect mixure for PIZZA FACE!! oh joyyy!! =/

  • i had to stop watching in the middle of the video cuz she talks soooo sloowww

  • baby oil? Are you kidding me? This is expert village, where's the expert in this? Baby oil is so bad, I would never use on a baby or myself. It's made from refined petroleum sludge, same as vaseline, get it gasoline/vaseline. Don't let some big corporation make you believe it is safe. Fragrance oils often contain phthalates and petroleum. She didn't say to use skin safe ones.

  • put salt and baby oil in a jar and mix it. wow that was helpfull

  • The answer is NO. Baby oil is actually cosmetic grade mineral oil. Studies and clinical tests show Mineral oil is non-comedogenic (meaning they do not "clog pores")

  • @musicxaddict109 even if baby oil does not clog pores it does not contain anything beneficial to your skin. at best it's just placebo. ANY other oil would be miles better.

  • @Muxxyy lol true true:D

  • how the hell is this "expert" advice?!!! You don't use baby oil, it totally defeats the pupose!

  • These comments are priceless. Lol.

  • Have fun having clogged up pores, stinging skin, and even worse acne for awhile :D

  • salt?!?! I tryed this and my face was stinging for 2 hours or so i hope u didnt find this mean ...

  • ewww I would never ever put baby oil on my face. Look at the main ingredient in baby oil and it's mineral oil! Why the hell would you put that on your face. Jojoba oil, sweet almond oil or EVOO would be the best choice because they are closest to the sebum of your skin.

  • i can't even trust her face .. :/

  • and epsomsalt, it's for a special treatment called epsom-salt bath. you warm up a tub with hot water, then you put in one or two bags of the epsomsalt and after that you sit in there and sweat for a while. it's great for detoxifying your body!

  • My english sucks, but as far as I know it, you can use what kind of salt you want. but as a rule you should use thicker salt to face and harsher salt for body. and you don't have to use baby oil. I use olive oil. just salt and olive oil. haha, the peeling is good because it gives energi to the skin, detoxifies and helps the lymphsystem and some more things. they don't tell you that it often hurts when you peel with it, espacially when you have a smaller wound or anything! peace! :D

  • can i use eptom salt and conola oil ?

  • Adding REAL salt? That's like sugar. Don't trust ya.

  • @SecretAgentLily both salt and sugar are good for your skin.

  • I dont trust expert village. Their videos dont even make sense or tell SPECIFIC names.

  • @Kawaii885 It's not expert village any more it's "eHow" Pfff HAHA What an even worse name to choose...

  • except for the baby oil for face this is probably great for just the body.. I'm going to try it.. thanks sweetie

  • I wouldn't trust a damn word coming out this bitches mouth.

  • what kind of salt?

    or dose it not matter?

  • BABY OIL IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD FOR YOUR SKIN!

  • I see that someone has asked the question earlier....what type of salt are you using? You did not not answer it. Why post a video about making anything when you can't even give specific ingredients.

  • Don't use baby oil it is made with mineral oil which is a petroleum product. Use oil that comes from actual living things if you want to reap the benefits of a salt scrub.

  • dont do this if u have sincitive skin i really burns use the other on instaid

  • i Just tried a really amazing scrub i made, its salt, and than equal parts milk and vegtable oil. i didt think it would work, but it was amazing (:

  • Do you use Sea Salt or Epsom Salt?

  • we can't see put the words in the descripton box

  • why is all those words on the screen!

  • It would be really lovely if I could see what you were doing. Due to all of the subtitles, I cannot. Therefore, this video is shit.

  • ..... this person is on expertvillage (expert-baby oil on face) ?... somethings wrong here

  • bullshit.

you might aswell rub your face with some sandpaper

  • @AUDIOSUSHI Its supposed to feel like tht to get the dead skin cells off. Duh ?

  • @AUDIOSUSHI Okay go ahead fishnoise............

  • @AUDIOSUSHI LOL...ouch !!!

  • can i use olive oil

  • BABY OIL??????

  • alot of people may not know this but if u do a salt scrub. your skin will be more sensitive to the sun and may cause rashs. lol yea am sorta a dork :p

  • @rawrdinosaurist im a dork to on makeup and skin hahahaha thanks for the information i was about to make one with salt till i heard this thanks =)

  • @GeiserAlexis you welcome(: glad i can help

  • @GeiserAlexis LEARN TO READ, THE TITLE SAYS ''How to Make Homemade Facial Scrubs : How to Make Homemade Salt Scrubs''

    SUCCKKK IT UP :O

  • @yiya1999 um i was not talking to you no disrespect and cant you tell baby oil if for your body baby oil is mineral oil just saying try extra virgin olive oil with honey or without honey. Enjoy =)

  • Oh, and also, do not use scrub if irritation occurs, or if you are allergic to any of the products used :] x

  • you call yourselves experts? ANY complete idiot would know NEVER PUT OIL ON YOUR FACE. It'll give you greasy skin and clogged pores. If anything, i'd recommend using

3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil mixed with 2 table spoons of honey (NEVER MAPLE SYRUP!!) and half a cup of sugar (NOT SPLENDA!!)

Mix it using whatever you have, and store in a clean container. I wouldn't recommend using it too often, about twice a week. And only use this at night on a cleansed face.

  • @yiya1999 she said body scrub not face did she it says on the title BODY!

  • @yiya1999 well on the sugar one she said body so yay

  • @yiya1999 , peelings/scrubs should always be used one-two times a week, if you don't have acne prone skin, because then you could use it up to 4 times a week depend on what kind of peeling you use.

and don't tell the people what peeling they should use, because it's always best to make a peeling especially made for your skin type. the peeling you described helps for dry skin, to make it smoother and more moisturised. am I right?

sugar smooths, olive oil and honey moisturises and more. LOL.

  • o hey yeh i couldn't find any baby oil so i used the oil in my car and same with the vitamin E i just took a bunch of pills and threw it in there, i think it worked for me.

  • @bi444ify you're hilarious <3

  • boby oil got minerals oil it will clog your pores

  • what kind of asshole wants people to scrub OIL into their pores -.-

  • @Bunomous use olive oil molecules in it are to big to clog pores and easy on the words in 12 k =)

  • what is vitamin E??

  • i dont trust u lady i tried this guess wat zit zit zit zit

  • this is like a recipe for clogged pores

  • WHY DOES EXPERT VILLAGE KNOW NOTHING??? They don't know about this, they don't know about ukulele, they don't know about origami, they don't know ANYTHING

  • silly use it in the hs shower

  • its more like dumbvillage

  • @ThatVideoGameGirl123 HAHA! They might be living in a trailer park for all I know! They should call it redneckvillage instead!

  • Im better off rubbing a piece of deep fried chicken all over my face =/

  • im thinking not but could you use like veggie oil?? or olive oil??

  • you didn't even stir it all the way

  • isn't oiljust going to cause acne and i want this to rid of acne that's not very helpful

  • @alexandraw99 not if its natural oil that is good for your skin

  • baby oil clogs your pores and does not moisturize your skin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what vitamin e that are using on that jar its not clear at all.

  • DO NOT USE BABY OIL ! I have used it before and it really clogs your pores. Use Extra Virgin Olive Oil, It doesnt clog your pores like baby oil does.

  • Baby oil is bad. It is made from mineral oil which is made from petroleum by-products. And is not to be used on the face especially. And does not belong on a baby either. Also u don't want to use that much fragrance for face products, give you skin irritation. This recipe is bad. Apricot kernel oil is good for the face use that instead. Baby oil will make your face greasy and break out. Yuk.

  • dont use baby oil, it irritates the skin, try olive oil, its better for the skin!

  • Uhhh dude u use wayyyy too much oil!! And, baby oil is harmful to ur skin!!! Duh!!! Ur with EXPERTvillage!! Rnt u supposed to know that?!?! Anyway, I make my own facial scrub. Just mix some sugar(any kind u have) with some maple syrup or honey. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and when u take it off, ur skin feels really soft!!! U can also use that on ur body!!! Try it out and enjoy!!!

  • @l4ur3n005 thank u for the sugar scrub tip ^_^♥

  • enough oil ?

    yu use like a fucking

    TON of oil :\

  • wow

  • dont use baby oil u fucking idiot

  • @ariluvpanda mean. :(

  • @ariluvpanda what r u supposed to use then?

  • @idonetherewetmyself

The healthiest for your skin will be olive oil, grapeseed oil, etc.

  • @idonetherewetmyself olive oil because baby oil clogs pores

  • the title of the vid says "Facial scrub" but if you look at the "Safety tips" vid she tells you not to use it on your face. >.>

  • DON'T USE BABY OIL!

  • Baby oil should not go on anyone's skin, especially not babies, and never, ever use a salt scrub on your face, way too drying. The problem with baby oil is that it is a petroleum product, and it is terrible for clogging your skin. Use apricot kernel oil, raspberry seed oil, even grapeseed would be better.

  • if baby oil is not good for u than what about babys ???????????

    babys

  • @SuperZainabkhan I never used baby oil on my babies. Too much fragrance for their sensitive skin. Didn't use cornstarch baby powder on the either. Dr. said cornstarch breeds bacteria. I searched high and low for good old fashioned talc. So use light olive oil if you're worried that it's too heavy.

  • @cooksalot1 thanks i didnt knew that thanks

  • may be for her skin it warks well guys

  • may be for her skin it warks well guys

  • what ??? oh well i have used salt scrub well that was sea salt scrub by body shop ???? and i think that was nice so try sea salt insted of normel salt he he he .. and what u guys say about sea salt for dry skin i have dry skin thanks

  • Ew guys please oh please DO NOT use baby oil. It is mineral oil with fragrance and it does not moisturize your skin and it creates a kind of barrier to actually not allow moisture to sink it. Try sugar and olive or coconut oil instead. Baby oil is a HUGE no no!!

  • Instead of using baby oil,use extra virgin olive oil.

  • @YouhGomooh yeah i heard of that

  • baby oil is bad for your face!!!

  • apparently none of you guys watch the other videos... you dont use the salt scrub more than once a month... now the sugar scrub on the other hand, you can use one to twice a week.

you can get vitamin E liquid at most walmarts or vitamin stores like GNC

you can use olive oil, for the sugar scrub, olive oil would probably be better, but for a rarely used scrub, baby oil would probably be better

  • @th3puppetmaster hi im thinking of cane sugar, olive oil, vitamin E, essential oil, and some of chunks of fruits thinking of paking it and gift it to my friends any comment ?? coz realy wanna know if this scrub can work???

  • @th3puppetmaster hi im thinking of cane sugar, olive oil, vitamin E, essential oil, and some of chunks of fruits thinking of paking it and gift it to my friends any comment ?? coz realy wanna know if this scrub can work???
