Nice rhythm playing. Also nice on the whammy squeals. Keep practicing on the solos and make it perfect. And not ALL the songs on crusade are played with 7 strings. There's a couple that aren't. Including Detonation. But yes, all the songs are in standard, Standard for seven strings just adds the Low B.

Better than i could have done. But you did miss a lot of notes, you played the solos wrong, and there were tons of mistakes. Should have practiced it more before you made a cover. Good effort though i suppose.

dude , the solos I mean it´s all about fun but as a guitar player I can tell that by how low youre holding your guitar , the solos seem really uncomfrotable , ok man you look cool, but it´s not how your look with a dean it´´s how you rock it, try holding it just a little up and you´ll see the difference

But if you want to play the 7 string tuning songs in standard, just play all the power chords a different way. normal power chords are for example

A--2--

E--2--

B--0--

but instead, play them like this

D--4--

A--2--

E--2--

but for all of the stuff Matt and Corey play only on the low B string, just play that up an octave. I do that with the verse riff for Into The Mouth Of Hell We March, but I have to bring all the notes up in the verse so it sounds right

Becoming The Dragon, Contempt Breeds Contamination, and the Crusade are in the seven string standard tuning.

you're right, they are good for metal as long as you have a decent sized amp, and you muted the strings you're not using. generally they're reliable guitars, and unbelievable in the upper range18-22/24

really, i found harmonics weren't that good on the highest pitched string, don't know if that was me, but i used 11 gauges and they really struggled getting decent harmonics. amazing for the other 5 strings though.

Sound is really a matter of opinion, but generally, I reckon Dean guitars sound better than BC Rich's, and BC Rich's usually make guitars that look better than they sound...

The quality of Dean guitars, however, is questionable.
