  • Windows FTW!

  • I'm gonna install this on my PC

  • I think I'm going to switch over to mac's, Even though windows 7 is pretty fuckin sweet. But I'm ready for a whole new os.

  • I have vista, and I know my next computer will be a Macbook. There are so many advantages, and I always have my Vista laptop to fall back on if I need to.

  • @fenderpenguins just put mac os x leopard on ur laptop

  • Me too i wanna be a professional computer engineeer i know windows now but still

I need to know a mac as well to become a PROFESSIONAL computer engineer (right??)

    Great vid 5 stars :D

  • Well, Speed is one thing, Preformance is another. I don't know macs but I heard there really good for jobs, school normal use.

  • same, i just love the interface of them and there clean white (: Apple is like a fashiona designer to me :L i have an iphone im working my way up

  • mac is a windows right?

  • @ultraphoennix no, mac is from apple

Can you tell me what screen recorder did you use?

    PLEASE

  • your mouse button sounds really heavy.

  • peole who use macs like macs

  • Hey..Dose This Come With Kismac..I Really Need To Knwo???

  • macs dont suck pc's do , and why are u watching this vid if u dont like em

  • Mac sucks if mac is so

  • Mac sucks if mac is so good then why was it the most un-popular selling computer software of 2008 and everyone have windows mac over price there stuff

  • @JamieT934 actually macs are very good. the os is better than windows. its virus proof too.

  • not virus-proof, rather there are very few viruses as OS X is far less popular than Windows; no hacker with the least bit of common sense would build a virus for OS X because it wouldn't affect nearly as many people.

  • @paul204533 virus proof hahahahahaha NOTHING IS VIRUS PROOF virus it is just a PROGRAM , the windows virus are not compatible with mac . 90% of the world uses pc. NO HACKER will ever wast time doing any MAC VIRUS. I'm NOT saying the macs are BAD OR GOOD this is just a FACT.

  • @JamieT934 Yeah right, that's like saying Lamborghini suck because they don't outsell Ford. Windows=lowest common denominator.

  • @maniacwithagun767 well actually neither PC nor MAC suck cause you can install MAC on a PC and windows on a MAC

  • i started high school today.. And apperently everyone in our school gets a macbook pro ;;P

  • what school do you attend??

  • A swedish high school called Portalen.

  • dang. i'm jealous.

  • ;) I acctualy got Windows 7 retail working on it aswell , pretty awsome realy.

  • I'm a mac man but the drop down's look alot like windows.

  • if i have mac os 10.4.8 is there any way to update for free?

I've seen updates on the apple website so do i just download them, and run them? sorry I'm new to macs.

  • i hate apple because its to complicated, nothing works.

i have 10.4 and i cant put limewire on it.

does somebody know the update for free and were i can find it.\?/////

  • it's frostwire you need for macs, not limewire

  • Try: Limewire 4.18.8 - it's fully supported on Tiger. If you don't know what you're doing then use that!

Also, the latest package still works if you modify it (Use Google!) and takes a minute to find if you click on "Other Versions".

However, brianskatesbath is correct, use Frostwire as it's superior in every way (not nagging, connects to more ultrapeers etc.).

P.S. I'm not a Mac user but found that out in 1 minute, it's not complicated :P

  • wow very gr8 vid

    sub to u

u know i'm about to switch from windows to mac, so i need to learn about the system :)

    thnx a lot ^_^

  • Nice preview. I have tried Leopard 10.5.2 on my PC, and I find it to be uncomfortable managing windows through the dock and via "global" menu, Vista and Ubuntu are much better with menus in the app, not on the bar. Also (but because I'm a longterm win user) Its surprisingly hard to get used to min-max buttons on the left ;). Overall, very nice looking OS, but not good enough for me to use it as a primary OS.

  • maybe not for you... but people can change.... and at this point I hate windows... I am so sick of it... buy a new computer you say? only to have it break and end up buying another one and then have spent enough to get a mac... even though macs don't loose there value like pcs... I can get used to the buttons where they are... it really does not make any difference for me... but for what I do on the computer... I can't stand pc....

  • same ive been using XP for all my life and occasionally Vista and in a week i am buyin the macbook pro and thats gonna be totally awesoem especially learning the new features in the mac im so excited :P

  • dude... I envy you... I am Christian... and I should not envy you...

but I envy you... because... dude... YOUR GETTING A MAC?!?!?!?

    *cry*

your the first person to say they are excited to learn the new features!

    which MBP are you getting?

  • the 13 inch one :) the cheapest one it shud be substantial for photoshop work and all that.. this is gonna be my first mac so im all excited :D

  • dude... thats more than substantial....

    *sigh*

    I want one sooo bad...

of course, I would rather have the imac at the moment, because I love working on the desk with two huges screens...

  • how do u update 10.4.9 to leopard? someone plz answer!

  • what msn client does he use???

  • And again VIVICK shows his real attitude...sigh

  • You always have the coolest wallpapers.

  • Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, And Acrobat 8 Professional. You're a.....

    Web Developer

  • You can do the "list" stacks thing in OS 10.4 by right clicking on a folder in your dock... does the exact same thing.

  • as if the clutter and space problem was solved when they added a "List" view on the stacks. There's nothing new with it. MS thought that, cascading menus takes so much space, that's why they collapsed those menus to a compact one like what we see in the new start menu. In short, that List view doesn't really do the job.

  • Looks like Apple has got a few ideas from MS There aint much difference from that to having Object dock at the bottom of your PC and having the start menu in it. OSX Is OLD Hat. Come on MAC Give me something original so i can have a reason to come back.

  • no you retard XD

  • Yawn!

  • Have a thumbs up

  • How can you put the symbol of apple on the wireless networK???Help me that looks cool.

  • SPOILER!!!

 option shift k :) sorry i just had to

  • Nice background - and the Flying Apple, LOL

  • You're getting a lot of shout-outs Ramin!!

  • Well deserved shout-outs. Besides, he pays me $400 per video to do them ;)

  • LOL

  • xd xd

  • Hey Ecko what settings are you using on iShowU, it looked really clear and quite crisp.

  • He's using Screenium, instead of iShowU.

  • Oh wow thanks, never heard of that program will have to look into it!

  • nice i'm thinkin of gettting a macbook do u have a tips for me to help me make the right choice

  • If you read through the comments on my channel i have a huge note for new mac users. I think its on page 2 or 3 of my comments.

I also have a video about "tips when picking a new pc / mac". Thanks.

  • nice vid, i actually didnt know those features.

  • I looked on ramin's channel and through all his videos but I can't find that desktop. Where did you find it? thanks for all the great videos.

  • the picture is called flow... actually is a iphone wallpaper, but is also available for your desktop.. i also have it, but i don't remember how did i got it =P

  • The Flying Apple?...go to interfacelift (dawt) com and search for "flying apple"

  • finally it works!!!!

  • I like that list feature better than the other two, and like you said it saves screen space... and after seeing the translucent menubar before and after, I honestly think I like the translucent one vs. the opaque one. go figure.

nice "flying apple" wallpaper, btw, I need to get ahold of that :) good video.

  • Another change is that now when you click on a stack in grid view is that it looks slightly different. The edges are rounded more and has a light outline.

  • hey man can u do like a quick video review of screnium. is it better than i showu

  • first

  • cool Ecko

  • OS 10, not OS Ex!!!!

  • It is classed as Mac OS X.

X is the roman numeral for 10.

  • Yes, but you do not pronounce the "X" as "Ex", you pronounce it as "10." Open up terminal and type "say os x" hit return and tell me what it says.

  • I think everyone understands what his saying when he says OS ex. It's not that big of a deal. Take it easy...

  • Yeah, but in the community people typically classify PC users as PC users when they say "ex" and Mac users as Mac users when they say "10." Just some geek slang on the net.

  • I'm a Mac user and most of time say 'ex' because that comes naturally.

  • same here
