Regarding the datacron where you ride the lift - it's much easier to jump onto that lift from the other side of it. The cable doesn't pass parallel to the platform, it's actually closer to the opposite side. You don't even really have to jump, you kinda just hop/step onto it.

Your friends rock jumping method might be easier in the sense that you don't have to wait for the lift, but if you jump from the other side than you did in this video, it's not even the slightest bit of a challenge.

OMG! The endurance datacron- jeeze. I had about 12 heart attacks but I am alone and a level 31 Jedi shadow. I only died 2 times- black out and force cloak kick assssssssssss! Thank you!

It's perfectly possible to get the 1st datacron on the video by just climbing the rocks on the island.. Like the guy was trying to do on the video.

btw you dont have to use the lift, you can jump off the rocks i do it its not hard.

I was watching this guide in full screen and as I rode the lift down to the island I alt-tabbed back to the game. Well, I thought I did... I saw me on the lift, a guy trying to jump in to the left, but hmm. I alt-tabbed again, and nothing changed. Still rode down the lift, and still saw a guy trying to get in from the left. That's when I realised that what happened in my game was excactly the same as in the vidoe. Alt-tabbing back and forth just confused med .. haha .. made me laugh =)

The grappling hook is worth the 10k in the long run because you will need it to get a +10 to all stats datacron(s) on the republic fleet

On groups when someone fails a jump, just activate duel mode and pull/leap the/to your friend. Been there and done that several times already...

about the first datacron: you can take it without doing all the elevator stuff.. just mount up and try to jump from the side of the little island just like his friend in the video did.. the are rocks that form almost 3 stairs. jump on the first with the mount, then dismount and jump up and you're there :D i did it it like this and it worked :D

That first datacron, you don't need to go on the gondola to get it, you can jump up on the back side of the rock there was about three ledges or so, it takes a bit of jumping to get on the ledges but that how i got it

I love your guys's videos on how to find these annoying yet rewarding datacrons. My only complaint is why, on the endurance one in the cave, did you not do this: send your companions in first (or one) to get aggro by elite mob groups while you are run past and get away for them to reset? so far it's working for me and i'm on my first 9 min rez timer and right at the crack for the bomb. be sure to try that next time.

I managed to get the datacron form the side side of the island where your friend tried to jump up.

Not using my mount but using my force speed as i am a jedi consular.

You actually better buy that MGGS for Corellia since it is required for Green Matrix Shard in Corellia, not sure if it's accessible without MGGS like this one though.

**IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THOSE TRYING TO SOLO**

The wall respawns after ~6 minutes, not 10. This means that if you're rolling solo and you have a 10 minute Medical Probe wait, the wall will respawn by the time you can revive, thus wasting your detonator. This is fairly pertinent information considering how much time & frustration this particular datacron requires.

For the first datacron u do not have to ride the gondola. Don't use your speeder and you can easily jump the rock face at the back where you see in the video the guy trying with his speeder. YAY!!!

I got the blue matrix shard or what ever it is called and the datacron on tatooine with the jawa baloon today. it is just horrible, you have to wait for the baloon then you have to wait a long time to get to the right place, HORRIBLE!!!!!

Thanks for the videos. Though the last datacron, the one in the cave. The wall will not remain cleared for more than 5 minutes, so if you blew it up and died with a 10 min respawn timer, you'll have to start over. Also: The detonation will kill you instantly if you are close to it. I found out the hard way...

Like the video, but just wanted to say that /stuck dosn't kill you but if you get stuck it will teleport you back to your last unstuck location, I've used it a couple of times on Alderaan after failing at trying to get down a hill and getting stuck between two rocks or something like that

You WILL infact need to get the grappling hook for a holocron on Corellia. Make sure you buy it so that you dont have to make a trip back.

The last datacron I had a weird issue. It told me when I clicked on it that I had to complete a mission first. I almost smashed my computer but just abandoned all my alderaan quests and then it let me get the datacron. Hope that helps anyone else who may get the same issue.

@civilforce1 That's an issue with every single Datacron in the game. If your mission log is full (25 missions), then you can't pick up a Datacron, because it counts as a mission. Just abandon one mission, and you'll be able to get it.
