Mustangs IMHO are a completely forgettable car (like most today.) You are right about getting great power out of them, suspension, ect, but in 30 years the Ford GT will still be a timeless beauty while the Mustang will just be a Mustang. Ford put itself at the Supercar level that GM or dodge couldnt even touch. Then they stop? Detroit wants us to be excited about the Corvette and Mustang? The only problem is that mustangs will never have the great all around performance that the Ford GTs had, because of their weight and their non aerodynamic body are the two main reasons.
@Flienlow they dont make them anymore because a law was passed that required the headlights to be a certain height(im not sure what the height was) but in order to do this they would have had to re design the front of the car and they decided not to do it
@Flienlow what does a mullet have do with a mustang? I believe that came from an Iroc-Z. Secondly, they dont make it because it had poor crash rating standards, thats why it was only in production for 2yrs.

But instead of upping the game, the big 3 offer the mustang, Camaro, and challenger which is a testament to the boring crap they produce today since they have offer us a 60's look to sell anything. Well the Ford GT, the mustang has been in production for 40+yrs. Its not that its a boring car, its what the middle class can afford. The Ford GT is in a whole different class. Its a supercar in its own right.

It's such a pity cause the Ford GT is The best Supercar in my opinion
