- Use first option (test and fix problems).

- It will fix all your problems.

DVD disc does not work at all. You can hear it starts to spinn the dvd but then noting happend. I got the 0.75. Reading and playing från SD card or USB stick works. But not från the dvd... Why?

Maybe you're missing something:

- You need to install latest "cIOS 202" to get DVD functions.

- DVD movies aren't fully supported.

- Data DVD is most compatible with the player.

also my mplayer USED to work properly but then i got the same problem as

JMCof82 where nothing happens after trying to load the disc.

Yes, you need cIOS to play DVD's. DVDx doesn't work since DVD functions were imported to cIOS.

DVDx is actually working for other homebrew applications. Since custom IOS 202 can manage DVD functions + USB 2.0 mplayer stopped working with DVDx application.

i got a problem...i cant load any internet streams mainly SHOUTcast. the menu just loads directly to current playlist with loop.avi in it.

It seems you have a homebrew issue.

Type in google search: "mplayer-ce issues code" and raise your question on mplayer-ce issues list.

It freezes bad for me. I can maybe play one song and it's done for. Try loading another song and I get the "Loading vobsub subtitles" message and then it's frozen. v0.62 is probably the most stable version despite the lack of features in comparison to v0.75. Also it'll freeze in the middle of a long mix. I have yet to test video besides DVD. Some DVD's wont play and may cause it to freeze. Dark Night wont play, Hancock will freeze in the intro of the movie. It works but sometimes.

Yeah, it's known that mplayer-ce has better support for media files but DVD video playback could be buggy.
