  • U'i hula, Maika'i !!!! I love that the Japanese have embraced hula and the Hawaiian Culture, its unfortunate that America hasn't been as welcoming in their interpretation of what Hawaii is, or What hula means, Or what The na Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) have to offer this world.

    Sorry, no workshop tours through Japan. Arlene teaches all the classes by herself, so she is very busy with the halau.

    But why not join here? Some students are from Sendai, Niigata or even further away...
