  • putain mais c'est magnifique !

  • I NEED LOVE FROM LADY.

  • Thanks Joan for those the days of our youth.Love always Al

  • yes your never too young to falling love

  • This was our song! I was 14 he was 15 I miss him so, he would have 76 this year..RIP my darlin' Our Love is forever.

  • The #1 hit of 1950

  • I figured it out. It's the 2003 remastered version.

  • Is this the original version of this song? I know there are multiple versions.

  • I remember the song very well from 1954. I was 16....

  • @Pionrosa Thank God for our memories. =)

  • THANK YOU WE WERE YOUNG AND INNOCENTTTTT

  • Lekker is Afrikaans and Dutch too.

  • I remember when Nat died. It was on the front page of our city newspaper. My dad really liked him...he had 3 or 4 LPs that I remember. But it wasn't until I was older that I really appreciated them. I now realize the timelessness of his music...& how much I miss my father, John (1909-1973)...R.I.P., Dad...David :(

"We were not too young at all."

  • I ve had this since the early 1960-s when I bought in at a very young age , and I still have it if fairly good shape, still after all those years ,

  • This is for Joan. Its always been your song and it will always make me remember you. Loving you forever Aunty. I miss you too much for words.

  • This was a song my Papa used to sing to my nana, they were 53 years married last February, sadly he passed away on the 14th of October 2011. I was his only Granddaughter, so we were truly close. It was so upsetting when I found out the news. He had macular degeneration and could only see out of the side of his eyes, but he was an energetic man. I cry every time I hear this song.

    R.I.P Papa James, 1931 - 2011.

You are missed so very much. <3..

  • I'm 14...and I thank God everyday that my family filled my ears with all this kind music growing up:) And ingrained in me the classic way of a lady!...that kept me from falling into the "skinny jean crowd" as my mom calls it haha.

    We all love Nat:)

  • Ah yes, a little something for those of us who appreciate the finer things in life..

Nat KIng Cole ... pure talent , pure style.. pure class...

  • @DjRamos1996 Hold on to that kind of innocence. I hope for your sake as the years go, you will find that love that some did find listening to this song. Thank you for sharing that with us.

  • @DjRamos1996 Omg, I would dance with you ;)

  • Nat, had a golden voice. I'm grateful to have grown up around those that listened to him. For they played his music a lot!

  • What a great song and a great singer!

  • "Too Young" was our song in '51 when we were married on June 30th. Just celebrated our 60th anniversary! My husband was in the Navy and in radioman school at Naval Air Station in Norfold, VA. He was later on the aircraft carrier USS Lake Champlain and in Korean waters. We are still very much in love and thankful the Lord has been with us thus far.

  • My father died last week. This was his and Mom's song. She was 15 and he was 17 when they married 57 years ago. I would like to dedicate this song to James & Audrey Wilson. James L. Wilson died 6/23/11. Daddy I miss you. Your loving daughter Carla. I thank God (only for a moment) that Mom has Alzheimer's and did not have to watch him float out of her life.

  • @clwiltshire "They were not too young to fall in love at all." I am sorry for your loss yet I am grateful you knew such devoted people.

  • @clwiltshire I'm sorry for your loss.

  • @clwiltshire this song brings wonderful memories to two youngsters in love & that was 55yrs ago& my wife is like your mother if only we could turn back time live those days again pierre3536

  • This song was my late Mom and Dad's love (theme) song because they were "too young" to fall in love with each other. They were married 50 years (living) and passed away for 13 years now. Yet, each time I hear this song, it reminds me of how long they turned their trials and battles into triumphs for over 50 years! Thank you for sharing this song.

  • yes really wonderful. i tinking this sound is fully feelings, thank you to share...

  • Bought this back in the summer of 1951. It meant a lot to an eighteen year old just going into the RAF.

  • Lekker is actually a South African word, derived from Afrikaans, meaning nice. In Afrikaans people also say cool. So we have a few words in South Africa that stretch across English and Afrikaans, perhaps just to be more expressive?

  • Thanks for the lesson in etymology.

  • this is really lekker

  • @Bobdeyzelpe Is that Dutch or Afrikaans?

  • @catman916 That is Chinese for tea pot

  • @Bobdeyzelpe in german lecker means delicious :D

  • YESSSS...........!!!! Excellent sound and grand memories. Smiles and tender gazes back and forth are the order of this evening in Harrisburg. Thank you very much.
