  • I agree. I think it should be made illegal here. I have a cat named Max and yes he drives me crazy sometimes clawing the furniture but I'd rather put up with that than pay someone to cut his fingertips off, which is basically what declawing is. Besides, as the lady said there's always softcaps and double sided tape to deter clawing.

  • Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to get declawing banned in Canada, I've got a petition started but cannot post a link in my response. Please drop me a line and I will send you my petition.

    Stop this declawing madness!!!!

  • I felt sick at 8:40-9:30

  • Even before I knew what declawing actually was I was against it because it just sounded like a cruel thing to do, to deprive a cat of it's claws.

Get some sisal, wood and cardboard scratching items (vertical and horizontal) and put them around the house. Learn how to train kitty to use the scratching items rather than the furniture/carpets. Learn how to trim claws.

If you don't want to deal with the whole cat, don't get a cat.

  • i once found the most adorable little kitten living under my house and we kept her for a little while she was the nicest thing ever and every time i tried petting her she moved her paws... later we found out she was declawed and not just her front paws but her back ones too and that is just plain crule the poor thing couldnt even scratch herself. i miss her so much but im sure as sweet as she is shes found a nice home. we would have kept her but she didnt like my other cat

  • @countrygirl1462 dumb bitch shoulda just kept her you cruel piece of shit

  • I have known plenty of cats and dogs, and they are nice enough, but I just don't want to make the changes to my home that are required if you want to live with an animal.

Don't get your cat declawed. Cats have claws! If you don't want to live with a cat, don't get a cat.

  • Both my parents and I didn't know that declawing is amputating the cat, we just thought the doctors take the nail off like many people. But we were still totally against it because we still think it's cruel to even take someone's nail off. Besides, cats' activities with their claws (climbing cat post trees, catching things, running etc) are the cutest ever, how could anyone not want those pleasures? scratching post helps a lot, clipping once a week helps too, do those instead.

  • I SO AGREE WITH YOU NYTTOWLL AND THE SECOND COMMENT TOO. I USED TO BE A SHOW DOG AND CAT GROOMER BUT I STILL KNOW IT'S SOMETHING CAT'S DONT' LIKE (NAIL CLIPPING) BUT I GIVE MY BABY A TREAT BETWEEN EACH COUPLE OF NAILS TO TRY AND RELATE IT TO NOT AS BAD AN ISSUE. SHE DEALS WITH IT OK NOW. I DO IT QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. YOU ONLY DO THE TIP TOO! OTHERWIZE IT CAN INJURE THE VIEN AND HURT AWFUL AND BLEEDING AS WELL. I WOULD NEVER DECLAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My parents made my new kitten get declawed..

i begged them not to, they knew all the alternitives, but they chose to declaw him :(

  • @XMBJuicy Fuck your parents...

  • It's so easy to trim my cat's nails. I taught her to let me handle her feet when she was a kitten, and now when she's sitting on my lap relaxing, I gently press her feet to extend her claws and then clip the tips with toe-nail clippers. Not to mention that I trained her very easily to scratch a post. Thanks for educating the public, but I do disagree with declawing as a last resort. It should NEVER be an option and should be illegal, period.

  • Declawing is incredibly inhumane - it's not simply a short permanent nail trim, it's the removal of a cat's toes up to the first joint including ligaments, tendons and cartilage....Some compare it to amputating human fingertips up to the first joint, but cats have much more complex feet because they retract and extend their toes. Humans suffer from phantom joint pain - is it so unreasonable to assume that a cat would?

  • Oh my god i declawed my cat like 2 days ago but i didnt know what they did the vet was just saying that she can hurt the furniture and stuff and she made me really want to declaw her so i did and after seeing this video i feel very bad...i cant believe i would do such a thing to an animal because i love animals but im so stupid because i should have known that it was going to be a very bad choice :( Im sorry Shimmer! (thats my cats name she is a russian blue)

  • @ozzy115295

You went through with the proceedure just like that? You didn't bother doing research first? Declawing is like cutting half of your fingers off. A pet is practically your child, it trusts you to protect it. How could you just . . . ugh.

  • Cats need their claws. If people can't accept that then they obviously aren't able to handle a cat. Would you rip your own finger nails out if it was optional? Why not just file the damn things down once and while? It's painless and only takes a couple of minutes and doesn't cause irreversible damage.

  • @minutemuse Soft Paws Nail caps are also great. You are so right on.

  • @MsMEHowe

I'd never heard of the nail caps but they sound like a good idea. I use one of those Pedi-Paws nail trimmers about twice a month. It takes all of six minutes (for both of my cats). Hard to believe some people can't be inconvenienced with the occasional trimming and choose to mutilate their pets.

  • declawing a cat should not be an option at all period. not even a last resort option.

  • when my kitten went for her first checkup and my vet casually recommended a de-clwing in the first 5 minutes of meeting us- I knew it was time for a new vet.

  • i love my kittys feet, i love playing with her feet, i love her claws.

  • IF SOMEONE DECLAWS A CAT IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD AND I FIND OUT THEY GET AN ASS-WHUPPIN!

    PERIOD!

  • i just got a kitty & doing my reasearch on declawing...thanks for posting this vid! changed my mind.

  • does anyone know a good website to find these awesome coupons to get the cat declawed?!?

  • Thank you for posting this. People need to learn the truth about declawing. It's a barbaric, inhumane and selfish surgery. Cats come with claws, live with it!

  • @swimfan3588 So an unnecessary amputation is better because the technology to do such is better and less painful for the procedure. How about getting a scratching post or soft claws or better yet not having a cat at all because one needs to amputate it to conform it to their living conditions. That's despicable.

  • @swimfan3588 It's still cruelty!

  • I've seen what bears do to people and other animals, and I have no respect for them. Cruelty is poisonous in all its forms; even death can be administered humanely.

How can a cat declaw be reversed?

  • If you don't want a cat with all the behaviors that are natural for cats, then don't get one. It's really cruel and inhumane to declaw cats, remove dogs' vocal chords, etc. If you're that selfish, then just don't have animals. Sheeesh.

  • word.

  • @CreamyDove

Some people need to get their cats declawed. I had to get one (of 3) cats declawed, why? He would use his claws to grab the screen on the window, pop it out, put it on the side, then jump out of the window. He kept doing this and eventually he got injured because of the neighbors construction when he excaped. so we had to declaw him to prevent future injuries etc. etc.

  • @ACEDcomputers

When you declaw your cat, you are mutilating him by removing not only the claw but the end of his digits. If they should get out, they will be dead because you have removed their way of protecting themselves. Why couldn't you have simply made your screen more secure so he couldn't pop it out? God forbid you should used a couple nails to secure it. Sheeeesh.

  • @CreamyDove

We did, he then proceeded to tear the screen. Which then became a dagner to my other cats because sometimes they would go with him, and we would find them the next day covered in leaves and wet, etc.

  • @ACEDcomputers Wow that is a stupid story/excuse. Obviously you could have done a few things other than mutilating your cat who was nice enough to put the screen on the side after popping it out of the window. Secured the window screen, a similar tactic to baby proofing a house and/or detering your cats window screen behavior.

  • also like to add my cats still claw at things .i watch them even pick up carpets with thier declawed paws. also seen a 3 legged declawed barn cat catch a mouse and live a very long life. this has been my experience. But with anything like this it shouldn't be a frivolous decision. Also am a bit perplexed on laser being worse. since it is widely used for surgery for faster healing and less pain in humans and animals.

  • I know I will get flack for this. i do believe it should be a last resort. I have 2 declawed cats I adopted (not from a shelter)no problems with them . Just needed homes. Have heard of the prolems of declawing but never have seen one that had behaviour problems or pain. I worked in a shelter most cats were dumped had thier claws. 1 being not litter trained 2 they clawed the furnature. WhenI I go to a shelter I look to see if any are declawed and in my experience very rare to find one declawed.

  • Declawing surgery is a completely inhumane procedure and should be outlawed in the USA just like it is i Europe.

  • Laser surgery seems not very nice. 10:40

  • In most European countries it's illegal and viewed as inhumane and pretty stupid. But the yanks are soooo enthusiastic about it -.-

  • @LittleMadPyro Not all of us are. I would never declaw my cat, and the cats I have fostered that were declawed all had behavior problems of some sort. There are plenty of Americans that think it is barbaric, so please don't stereotype.

  • I was walking outside today when I saw this sign:

    "MISSING CAT.

    ~some detail~

    FRONT CLAWS REMOVED".

That cat is already dead. If it had claws it would have had a chance of survival. I almost felt like calling the owners and telling them.

Seeing that poster scarred me for life.

  • I've seen many cats maimed by dogs, with and without claws. I've also seen dogs come in deeply imbeded with 100's of porcupine quils. Do you think a few claws would stop those dogs?

This video is hilarious. 5 hour declaw repair? What planet are you from. IS she really a vet?

  • declawing was such a foreign idea to me until i watched Bolt and saw the declawed cat Mittens.

I live in australia and it's illegal here. i think it should be illegal everywhere after reading up on it and how it works and what it does to the cat...

  • Go here:

    ncane(dot)com/dn

Now think about it. In the test, 276 people were satisfied with declawing. But, 476 people were tempted to relinquish them due to Behavior problems. See? Declawing DOES cause long term complications.

If Kovitlac replies to this, then I swear to god, I am going to take a giant knife, and dissect her (but she acts like a grumpy man!) in her sleep.

    ANTI-DECLAW FOREVER!

  • That is not true at all, I want to see the proof.

  • Declawing is not comparable to the amputation of a human finger, that is just silly. There is nothing wrong with declawing an indoor cat. It makes the animal safer around children and it won't destroy your furniture. I'd rather someone declaw a cat then have them give it up to the pound to be euthanized. No one seems to think about that. I hate PETA and other short sided and stupid organizations that mislead gullible idiots into believing anyone who declaws an animal is an evil villian.

  • It is very compareable with amptuitation. That is exactly what you do! You remove the outer tip of the bone on their paws. Thats like removing the outer joint of your finger

  • no its not, the bone is not even close to proportionate to the tip of the human finger. Go look at a picture of the part that is amputated and you will see that they are not comparable.

  • Guess why declawing is illegal in europe and and other countries

  • Whats your point?

  • im with ya man!

  • declawing removes the first joint of their toe...how is that not amputation

I hate PETA but declawing does cause problems in cats.

  • prove it, I have proof that it doesn't, I'll PM you on Friday when I get my laptop back from the shop, I declawed my cat and it grew old fat and happy before it died and it didn't scratch my furniture up or hurt any children, terrible right?

  • bookofenoch34:

I want to see proof. It's terrible because you were too lazy to train your cat to use a post. You were also too lazy to tell your children not to treat the cat like a toy.

  • @bookofenoch34 if you are worried about your children and furniture, DON'T GET A CAT IDIOT!

  • maybe people should direct their anger toward much more important issues such as killing of unborn children that is legal in this country.

  • I have had cats all my life and never had the problems with destruction of furniture that some here have reported. Get a scratching post, put some catnip on it, teach it to use it from an early age.

By the way, I found a declawed cat starving in the streets of NYC. I took him home with me, and he had all the problems this lady is talking about. He did not like his paws touched, he was a biter, and he had some litter box issues.

  • Through I'm deaf and I don't know what they are saying. But I knew what this video is about, and I'm always against declawing poor cats. Well... Try imagine for one moment - You are a mother cat, and you have your little kittens. One day, you are outside with your furkids, suddenly, the dog is there. Too bad, you are a declawed mommy and you are killed by that bastard dog. Now, who will protect your precious kitties? You knew the dog will not protect them.

Obviously, declaw a cat is a bad idea

  • Don't ever get pets again. Just don't. If you absolutely need the luxury of owning an animal but can't be bothered to take their natural instincts and needs into consideration before getting them, you shouldn't own pets.

  • Wow, you have to love how people tout mutilation of a pet as a good thing. Next thing you know they'll say cats don't need tails. If you can't afford a Manx or a Cymric then cut it's tail off to suit you. Kitty will NEVER escape! Yeah right. What if your house/ apartment catches fire? Floods? My cat is polydactyl and is just fine. There is no need to remove a tail, cut up ears, or cut off claws. People will rationalize the most horrible things to make themselves feel better. That's mental illness.

  • Excellent video!!! Declawing should/will be illegal !!! CALL YOUR LOCAL VETS and just tell them you are outraged by declawing, it's the only way to get them to stop. Get the word out that declawing is cruel. A selfish cosmetic alteration/mutilation that has NO HEALTH BENEFIT to a cat!! Save a Paw, Don't Declaw!!!

  • If you want to have a cat but consider your carpets or couch more important than your cat, well YO DON'T DESERVE a cat. Go get an aquarium with goldfish or a teddy bear, but LEAVE THE CATS ALONE!

  • @nyttowll

    agree.

  • I volunteer at LA county shelter. I do notice that a good number of owner surrendered cats are de-clawed. And these cats are usually premium purebreds like Persian, Russian blue, and Siamese..and de-clawed.

  • My mom got my 3 kittens declawed.....I hate it. D= they are only 3-4 months old...

  • The US is just about the only country in the western world in which cat declawing is legal.

Some US vets support it because its a good earner for them!!

  • I wouldn't say homes that declaw are bad, or the cats are better dead. That's extreme.

The owners the had the declaw done I would say are lazy, certainly not the childs fault.

I would never declaw a cat. After seeing what I've seen and read...it's too awful. I couldn't ever put my boys through that.

  • Thank you so much for saying that! I love my cat's but in order to keep them, they HAVE to be declawed.I went 5 yrs. with my five cats not being declawed and my furniture and carpet is destroyed. I would rather declaw my cats then have to get rid of them. I did use it as a last resort, but now we can live in harmony in a beautiful home.

  • Thank God, a smart person. It's obvious that not everyone who owns a cat also owns their own home, and can afford torn-up furniture. Apparently, to be a cat owner, you must also make twice the national average of income! Who'd have thought!?

  • I make minimum wage and I can afford to let my companion animals be animals and not mutilate them. You can get a couch in great condition at a thrift store for as low as $40. If you can't afford that you SHOULD NOT be caring for a cat! Do you realize how high vet bills can be?

  • It is SO LAZY to amputate!!!!! Trim the nails or pay your vet of groomer to trim them if you can't. There is no excuse. Keep trying to explain that you mutilated your "loved companion"....

  • OMG WHAT A MORON! Hopefully this idiot has NO animals!

  • Hitler called the Jews animals. The two of you have something in common.

  • Go out and have your finger nails removed...after you have healed went through excruciating pain and hopefully not gotten an infection...Go open a soda can and see how something so simple is harder to do without your nails....

And no all cats are not easily trained I can testify to that..However when I got a cat, I changed (not the cat) plastic scratch pads on furniture for instance..These things you speak off can be fixed with things more simple(and less painful) than ripping off cats claws.

  • can somebody tell me a better reason for NOT declawing a cat other than "to defend itself"? my cat is never going to escape from my apartment, it just isn't going to happen

  • Thank God someone around here has a brain.

  • well I just don't get it... is that the only negative thing the declawing does is that the cats can't "defend itself" if it runs away? I live in a small enclosed apartment complex. The chance my cat will escape through my front door, plus my steel screen door isn't going to happen. Plus I live on a floor that's almost 3 stories off the ground with a straight drop out the bedroom window. Why would a cat need to defend itself against its owner? I'm not planning to hurt it.

  • In your situation, it's very practical to get your cat declawed. I don't live in a 3-story apartment, but my cats are both 100% indoor cats.

Believe me, other people here will try to say you're being cruel or destructive. They can blabber on as much as they want but the bottom line is, for people in certain situations, declawing does much more good then harm. In my case, it could very well come down to either the cat gets declawed or it has no home.

Don't ever feel bad for declawing :)

  • I have a severe health problem with my blood and that can't be good for the cat if it gets infected with my disease by scratching my arms. I think some people don't understand that everybody has different circumstances in their domestic life. They're thinking about THEMSELVES and that THEY wouldn't declaw it because it's cruel for THEM but not everybody is the same. A cat stratching me is dangerous for both me and the cat. I'm only declawing the cat if I can afford it. I don't know the cost yet.

  • I agree. Everyone has different home situations. It's quite possible that if my cats had not been declawed, and then proceeded to destroy expensive furniture, I would no longer be able to keep them due to my parents. Now they have a loving, caring home. I work for a vet clinic, so they get prompt care. They both even eat expensive prescription food!

It's very wrong of these anti-declawers to assume that every home that declaws is a bad one, or that declawed cats are better off dead.

  • I dont think anyone said that every home that declaws is bad or that declawed cats are better off dead. How asinine! However, are these people going to keep their declawed when it most likely develops behavioral issues such as litterbox aversion (aka pissing all over the house)?? Of course NOT! And btw it's nice that you work for a vet clinic, however I am a Veterinarian and also Board Certified in Feline Behavior so I might know just a little bit about what I am talking about...just maybe....

  • First of all, yes, people DO say shit like that. And even scarier things, like that all declawed cats should be euthanized. Secondly, relatively few cats have urinating or biting problems. I guess you being a vert is very sad indeed, and I would prefer to listen to the 3 very accomplished vets that work at the clinic here, rather then some stranger who claims to be one, which can't be proven either way.

  • Just how dumb are you? Do you really think a cat can contract a HUMAN disease?

  • Can you guarantee that? Can you guarantee that if you die that your cat will be taken care of? Even if all owners made the same promise you did, there would still be declawed cats in shelters and on the streets.

  • Yes, I CAN guarantee that. I'm a client of a pet program with people that share the same fatal disease that I have. Animals in the home have proven to help with my stress level and gives me a reason to not dwell on death so much. The program pays ALL of the cat's expenses. If I die before the cats does, either the program or friends will take the cat and provide it with a good home with people that don't bitch about declawing. You should have asked me the question before you assumed a buncha b/s

  • Good for you that you have a support network for your cat.

I CAN guarantee that your case is special and that this does not represent the reality of most declawed cats. As a supporter of declawing, do you truly believe that the majority of owners who declaw their cats can assure safety and security for the entire life of the animal? As I said before, you CANNOT guarantee that lazy or negligent owners, who ELECT to remove the cat's primary defense, will protect their declawed cats.

  • In one ear and out the other....Sadly enough, that ignorant person just doesn't get the declawing issue.

  • Can you also guarantee that you will continue to keep your cats when some or all of them start pissing all over the house by the age of 10 or sooner from the painful arthritis they are suffering because you opted to maime them vs training them???? YEAH I BET

  • However, the reality is that not everyone makes the promise to care for their declawed cat as you have. You cannot guarantee that lazy or negligent owners will protect their declawed cats.

I currently have a declawed cat living with me because he was lost or abandoned by his owners.

  • Newsflash. Never say never when it comes to a cat. My idiot neighbor blabbed her cat would never get loose. What happened? Her kid left the door open to grab groceries and kitty was gone. Her declawed cat was torn apart by a loose dog. It couldn't even climb a tree and the people who saw it will never forget the way that poor thing screamed. An older man grabbed a bat to hit the dog. By the time the neighbors got it off that cat was done for. I was there and declawing is SICK and unnecessary.

  • I bet you anything in the world that everybody who posted a comment here which supports declawing ist American. I am 100 % certain of that! Here's why: Americans seriously believe that they rule the world. Whether it's Vietnam, Irak or the way they treat animals. You people need to wake up and realize the damage you're doing to fellow beings. The worst thing is that you probably don't even care.

  • Interesting that you mentioned Vietnam, considering they actually view cats as a food supply there. I'm sure the whole youtube e-doctrination "treat cats as humans" won't fly in their culture.

  • OK, first of all, eating cats is illegal in Vietnam. I bet they still do it, though, but that's what you call "cultural differences". I wouldn't eat cat myself, but let them do ist, as long as they don't torture them. We eat beef, ask the Indians how they like that.

You know why I mentioned Vietnam. It's this American we-have-the-right-to-rule-attitude. You think you should "bring democracy" to countries that don't want it, and now you torture your cats b/c it's nicer for you. Same thing.

  • Wow - it's okay to eat cats, skin them, but not to declaw them. I, too, have nothing against people eating cats in these countries, but I also declaw my cats here, and work at a vet clinic and performs declaws every day.

Declawing is not torture, hon. I'f you've ever seen one done and worked with a cat that had it done, you'd know that. Unfortunately, all your types believe is bullshit off the internet, and you have zero interest in finding facts for yourself.

  • Oh, and one more thing: It's not about treating cats as humans, it's about treating them as living, feeling creatures that are capable of suffering severe pain. Which they are.

It's about not torturing them, just because you're too fucking lazy to teach them how to use a scratching post.

If you can't deal with the hair and the scratching - don't get a cat. Period.

I have two cats and a leather couch. They don't scratch it. They have scratching posts and use them. Took me a week to teach them.

  • ALl cats have different personalities. We all know this. So why be a hypocrite and insist that ALL cats under the sun are easily trained?

I tried with mine - didn't work. Surprise surprise.

Insist that no one who would declaw get a cat and a huge chunk of the domestic cat population get destroyed. Way to go. I'm glad your cats don't scratch but, frankly my dear, not every cat is YOUR cat.

  • 200 bucks? Ha, maybe in California. Not so everywhere. Where I work, it's 80 bucks for front claws, or 100 for all four. Thanfully, my clinic hasn't gone entirely insane and stopped declawing. It's a very practical procedure.

  • in tx its 50 dollars for front and 80 for all

  • Even cheaper. Hardly the 300 dollar amount that people here are claiming it to be.

  • I can't believe americans still do that - how embarassing. I feel sick! :boo:

  • Indeed the U.S.A. needs to have more intelligent legislators. Marijuana legal in most of the world, illegal in the states. Declaw illegal in most of the world, and in order to maintain a steady beeline of stupidity, declaw legal in the states.

  • Apparently the USA is the only country in the world that sees cats as *gasp* animals! Amazing!

  • Vets make $1200/hour declawing cats? Sounds like you understand veterinary business about as well as you understand surgery.

  • um..she said that it takes 11 minutes and costs about $200. Let's do the math, shall we? 60 minutes in an hour. 11 x 6 is 66 minutes, pretty close to an hour. $200 x 6 ....$1200. Imagine that, maybe we should think before making comments. At least she passed basic math....

  • Yep. You're right. Vet's make $1200 per hour. Here's how it works. The receptionists and technicians are working for free. The rent is free as well as the supplies and equipment, and the cats steadily come in every 11 minutes with torniquettes on their arms, the paws prepped and clean, and are already pre-medicated and under anesthesia when they arrive.

  • Very true. I admit, she is generalizing. She is presenting facts in such a way to make her point of view seem right and all others ridiculous. That's what people do. I'm not saying that vets take home $1200 for every hour of declawing. It probably isn't feasible for 6 cats to be done in an hour. You know more than I do since you work at a vet's office or are a vet.

  • I do think that maybe there are some vets that rush to do as many as possible and aren't as careful or skillful as your office, and can cause the cat pain, perhaps even five years later. I think like tonsillectomies which used to be done so often, as if tonsils aren't needed by the body, declawing should be a last resort, not because you didn't bother with training.

  • Interesting. I just got a part replaced in my mom's furnace. 1 part, 1 laborer, 1 hour. $550.

Vet's are good surgeons and terrible business people because they give into manipulation. Like the rest of them, I just don't seem to learn, but the work is fun enough to make it worth it, even though I have to work 90hours/week to support my family.

I am raising my fees this week, however, just for you. Thanks for the inspiration.

  • lol. Go ahead.

  • no wonder why god kill alot of american ppl, for its stupidity by killing alot of animal.

  • Nay, except thou repent, thou shalt all likewise perish.

  • You video description is misleading. I was hoping to hear Bonnie Beaver's take on it.

  • declawing is horrible! u can't just mutilate a cat, it's got claws for a reason! only dumbass americans could think of such a stupid thing to do, which only further proves american stupidity! IDIOTS!

  • so that means u should mutilate them? the rest of the world isn't stupid, just america, everyone outside the US knows that, that's why we make fun of u idiots so much

  • Oh believe me, we're laughing at you just as much over here. See, what's so funny is that you seem to believe all the bullshit you read about declawing being so ZOMG HORRIBLEZ!!! We're not nearly so gullible over here.

  • offcourse u are, stop kidding urself

  • Why are you wasting your time with that moron??? For God's Sake she cleans kennels for a living!!!!

  • Gee, I work at GameStop, too! Some of us college students are paying for tuition, you know! :D

Now, at least I can say that I don't cut animals apart for a living, or put them to sleep. God, that would be cruel!...

    /sarcasm

  • Declawing is banned in other countries cause it is considered cruel and I totally agree. People relinquish their cats after getting them declawed because of the bad behaviors that it causes. But the people are in denial saying it is because of something else.

America needs to follow suit and ban it!

  • my sister declawed her two cats-the one cat is friendly and nice but her other cat wont even come up to anyone-he keeps running away-I think it has something to do with the declawing.

and the cat who keeps taking off is so pretty and soft.

  • declaw squirrels?

why the hell would people do that?

    thier not pets!

  • yeah, we went to the pound to save a doggy, and we chose this poodle, after we got her we noticed that they declawed her thumbs.. or not thumbs but those extra two nails. its retarded. i feel bad for her even though it was already healed when we first saw her

  • Declawing cats is fucking cruel, i cant get why assholes would do something like that

  • My kitten is biting and clawing me. I don't plan to declaw him but a cat can cause a lot of injuries.

  • Good for you for not declawing, but seriously it's an animal. Animals yes at times can cause injuries but if you are scared of getting a scratch don't own one! Dog's can bite...are we removing their teeth also?

  • My kitten gets a crazed look in his eyes and turns into a homicidal maniac.

  • whenever your cat bites you or scratches you spray it with a water pistol. it will learn to stop.

  • Great job Mary and Jeff!
