At the end of the video, he said he tried the lap over again and it wasn't fast enough so yeah... I do like the mini don't get me wrong and I#m passing my driving test on one of them lol but the mini has a turbo, the clio is naturally aspirated engine.

As stated, this mini has the JCW "kit" so its 192bhp, not 211bhp. Also, some things I dont like is that the Mini tested has aircon, which doesnt come as standard, and a panaromic glass sunroof which weighs over 50kg's.

Its not a very fair test.

They should have tested that Mini against a normal Clio.

I would take the Clio all time, Renault's corners better, goes faster and got better image.

@killerZR1: Watch and *listen* - as Tiff says in the vid, it's a Cooper S with JCW Kit. The factory tuned JCW was not yet available when this episode aired. Secondly, the JCW Aero Kit is not standard in all markets, and it was not standard in the UK until march 2009.

the mini used is not a jcw not the wheels(not jcw) the body kit is just a s not a jcw kitand if u can see the exhaust exits are smaller not jcw

anyone notice that the actual mini they use in the the tests is just a mini s not a jcw, note the wheels and the lack of a jcw body kit etc.
