It’s a pretty sorry state of affairs when the highlight of a film is a Black Magic Woman belly-dancing with a snake. This thing is so self-parodying that I won’t even bother waste any of my precious sarcasm on it. Karloff deserved a more fitting finish to his otherwise illustrious career than this sad-sack of a flick. Kinda reminds me of the dismal demise of Bela Lugosi.

Just a shot in the dark here, but I'm pretty sure that 90% of what this guy is saying about voodoo is wrong. Also, animal sacrafice is a part of hoodoo. Pretty sure that alcahol isn't the source of all sins. I've had only 2 drinks in my entire life and I sin almost every day. Telikinesis would do as much to stop war as dynamite. What a joy to finally see! I had been reading for years that the late great Boris Karloff made three quickie low budget horror movies in Mexico shortly before he died but which are hard to find on TV or home video. He was in very poor health...suffering from respitory problems that eventually killed him in 1969. But what a trouper, never failing to give his best, no matter how low the budget or how weak the script. Actually, the production values here are not bad at all. Thanks for posting!
