  • Great Pat!!!!!!!

  • Cool to see a handful of well known great musicians jam like that - especially Pat Martino, a harmonic master jam on 2 chords like that .... nice one! And Josh Dion is so funky....

  • Every single frame of the drummer should be printed, blown up, framed, and put in a museum dedicated strictly to his insane facial gestures.

  • Drummers teeth gnashing sets it off for me. oooo Fuunky<3

  • That voice...

  • WOW that voice men, FUCKING WOW.

  • I cant get enough of this tremendous number and what a series these studio jams are. Incredible jamming sessions with some of the best in the music business. The smoothness of Pat Martino and the power of Joe Bonamassa makes this memorable.

  • Don't care much for the drummer's brand of showmanship but he has some serious groove...and the perfect vocal for blues.

  • ナイスグルーヴ!!!気持ちよすぎる!

    一流の技術での音の語り合い。演奏してて最高にきもちいだろうなぁ。

  • bass lines are pure magic! : )

  • pat is a genius!

  • It sounds great!

  • Wow, I somehow missed this episode on DirecTV back when. Love the blend of a blues / rocker lke JB with a Jazzy Pat Matrino, the latter in my thoughts one of the greatest Jazz guitarist to have ever played. Awesome bass work and Dion gave a lot of soul to the overall meeting. Studio Jams I hope will come back to the airwaves soon, and this time with back to back jams. Thanks for putting on YT

  • Am I the only one in saying that Veasley's playing is so funky and groovy? He really holds it all together!

  • @piemelbrieislekker I 2nd that

  • Great Vocal

  • Joe put that Gold Sparkle Strat up for auction at Clapton's Crossroads festival and it went to some lucky guy for $32,000.00 Im sure EC was pleased to put that chunk of change back into the treatment center.

  • Exelente video, no lo tenía considerado en mi biblioteca...gracias.

  • very, very tastey!

  • You can tell Pat feels a little out of place in this context. He is such a monster over jazz swing feel, more so than he is over a funk rock groove like this.

  • @HotRats787 yeah, as Lee Ritenour says about Martino - he was the original shredder. I think he just needs to add some "stink" to his guitar, some reverb/distortion and stuff in this context.

  • This is really weird.

  • Pat Martino got soul. Legend

  • Dion is channeling some Keith Carlock in this one

  • Cool !

  • That was O for AWESOME, Too Meke.

  • gerald veasley on bass no mentioned of Philly's best player living

  • gerald veasley on bass no mentioned of philly best player living

  • THe most soulful playing ive heard from Pat is this right here.... He's impressive but for his technique and lines...not for soul... but in this vid he showed he has a bit of that too

  • Why does bonamassa have to take so much stuff to a jam??? Look at the guitars omg. looks like a gig in the royal albert hall. pretty oversized his rig for that thing there...

  • I'm sorry but Martino is on another level than the rest. They're not bad...but he's just something else!

  • @awesomewelles1990

Im going to have to politely disagree. In this particular jam, i would say he is about the least impressive. Bonamassa's solo had much more feeling. The bass player is amazing and Dion is great as well.

  • @fatmikey916 Agreed.

  • i need that strat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 guitar gods in one freakin jam session !!1 there is a god people !! and these are the 2 guitarist who influenced me greatly joe in rock and blues and pat in jazzy and fushion music. Good bassist 2 ! and drummers is great 2.. they are all great lol

  • white boy got some soul

  • 3:43 you see quick flip of the drumstick...who's playing the badass Bass

  • Joe bonamassa is a beast

  • 2 people came so hard when they heard this song that they missed the "Like" button

  • josh dixon is class! the faces are ok once in a while, but not after every line :L

  • groove !!!

  • This is so solid. How have I not heard of Josh Dion before?? He's amazing!

  • whooo yeaa!

  • nice...a gum chewer!

  • Pat looks waaaaaaay cool

  • this is too slow for pat lol...

  • Nice Song :D

  • Puta sonzinho bonito!!

  • does anyone know where to find the rest of the blues jam at the end?

  • seriously! where's the rest??

  • great !

  • joe playing cliffs of dover at 4:52? xD

  • No, thats Joe's famous overused pentatonic lick....

  • josh is hilarious!

  • I think Joe had to hold back a little, he can really JAM on that guitar.

  • dirty cool sweet sound and groove. Funktastic.

  • Was this tapped @ The World Cafe Live in Philadelphia

  • yes

  • @AceEntertainmentInc Sorry, I accidentally pressed the down button. I really appreciate you putting up these videos. Thanks again!

  • anyone knows if john mayer appears in these jams???

  • @Niekenn Not that i'm aware of, but he'd fit right in on some of them nicely.

  • Loodloah

  • im sitting in with a jazz band soon, i can't wait

  • someone knows why and when have been done it?

  • That session was taped on 9/14/05.

  • Man what a groove!!

  • wow that drummer has an amazing voice, and great on the drums at the same time that looks way way harder then he makes it seem

  • What you meant was, "That's way way harder than he makes it seem"

  • i love pat martino's playing.

  • MANNNISH BOYYYYYYY

  • The man has soul, and can play the drums too....Right on.....

  • Joe goes Beck cool

  • WOW, what an ensemble of musicans! You got Bonamasa, Martino, and Gerald Veasley, damn what i'd give to be a producer with these guys in a recording studio.

  • Woohoo! Pat playing great blues! :-D

  • Monster guitarists.. but i dig the drummer the most! Great vocals, sweet groove!

  • Awesome!!!!!
